CplDevilDog
So I installed the Creation Kit last night and was reading this article on Modular Level Design http://blog.joelburgess.com/2013/04/skyrims-modular-level-design-gdc-2013.html Reading about things like "Art Fatigue" and "Kit Bashing" and suddenly I started seeing Skyrim from a designer's view (briefly and very blurrily) and I was wondering.... Has learning to Mod destroyed some of your wonder and immersion? Can you see The Matrix beneath the game?
Hyacathusarullistad
I haven't done a lot of modding for Skyrim, but I know when I was modding KotOR and TSL I reached a point where I couldn't play the game anymore without "seeing" what was going on under the hood, so to speak. And really, it did ruin the game for me; I haven't been able to get into it again since.
NightGuardX
I have been modding for months now, and I must say that it has destroyed my ability to play a bit. :confused:To be honest I haven't legitimately played in quite a while (a month at the least)
Terra Nova
Knowing what is going on under the hood hasn't stopped me from playing Skyrim seriously in at least a year. It has been my willful refusal to play until I am using my own armor set that I created myself.
