Plugins not cleaned up when mods uninstalled

I have been adding and deleting mods in an attempt to locate a mod conflict that is causing issues in my gameplay. I finally gave up on narrowing it down and decided to disable all mods and start adding mods back into a clean game until the issue recurs. However, after disabling all mods, I looked in the plugins section to find many plugins still enabled. Am I misunderstanding something or is that a problem with the Vortex software?

Did not see a "purge" the mods option? I simply disabled them. Apparently, disabling the mod does not disable the plugin which is a major pain. I had to disable all mods then disable all plugins. That was not the case in NMM. :-(

When you disabled the mods, did you run deploy? Running deploy may take care of the problem. If you have not enabled auto-deploy, I would recommend that you do so.

Normally, however, plugins are disabled when the mods are disabled. In fact, I've never had a case where disabling a mod did not disable a plugin, and I've been using Vortex for almost a year.

Presuming the deployment did go through, it should have not only disabled but removed the plugins (as those are part of the mods).

How many mods are we talking about and how exactly did you disable them? Did you tinker with the data folder manually at all or have all mods been installed via Vortex?

I have about 100 mods total. At the time that I started disabling them all, there were about 85 enabled. I disabled all of the mods. Each time that I disabled a mod, the deployment bar came up indicating that it was deploying. I was then surprised to look in the plugins tab to not only see all of the plugins, but that they were enabled as well. I have not done any manual mod installs. However, with only a couple of exceptions, all of the mods were migrated from NMM a couple of months ago. Many have been successfully upgraded through Vortex since then.

Hm, I cannot reproduce that not even with imported mods, I am afraid. Did it happen for those that were not imported as well?

It did. I went back to check that after I responded. All of the mod plugins are still showing in my plugins tab; they are just disabled as I left them. The appropriate plugins are enabling as I enable the corresponding mod. I think that given the issue with the feedback tab and this one that I should just reinstall Vortex.

Update: Uninstalling and then reinstalling did not help.
