This is geting off-topic (that's the second time I said that today ...).

This post was originally about pirating mods, NOT about subscription software, right ... ?

man no one even knows what the OP even wants to know other than discussing piracy policy. We are off topic but only like a step off as we are discussing causes which is at least semi-relevant.

The OP didn't mention mods specifically, but I think it is reasonable to assume that it is about mods, because what is the primary "thing" of this site?

That's right: discussions that get off-topic as soon as I get involved mods!

Well actually this site is about games and software modding. And discussing both subjects without inclusion of the topic of mods is pretty common and acceptable. Things getting off topic is kinda just what happens. Especially since OP never came back to clarify so the discussion can't be centered which leads to discussion that goes beyond the original topic.

Actually the site has an Anti-Piracy Policy against pirating GAMES, and SOFTWARE.
Which is why I assumed that's what the OP was talking about
