Ok, so, a few hours ago, I wanted to see If I can change or modify the falmer body. I opened the SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Meshes\actors\falmer and I saw all the falmer nif files. Then, Vortex update and, after that, I can't find any meshe, there is nothing except the doc _folder_managed_by_vortex.

I don't want Vortex managing my files, what can I do to revert back and get access to all the meshes ? (sorry for my english, not native)

Those files should still be there unless the mod was disabled, purged or uninstalled.

Thanks mate, I understand now.

I've got two profiles ; One heavy modded for playing, and one with just the thing I need for modding (or trying to mod).

So when I am on the low modded profile, Vortex locked everything he didn't need. I just need to switch back, copy what I need and voilà !

Thanks again.

These are just marker files, there's no need to worry about them. If the presence of empty folders bothers you there's a workaround in Settings -> Workarounds to clean them up on deployment.

What worries me is that they are empty. But Hadtoregister gave me a clear answer for my question. it's when mods are disable.

why would an empty folder worry you? it's just a marker and can be removed. its empty it will do nothing goor or bad to your files.

It's because, they're not suppose to be empty. They normaly got all the vanilla meshes. You don't even try to answer my question. Hadtoregiseter answer it perfectly.

I was trying to understand your puzzlement. I can see the question was answered, but I was curious as to why you would be concerned by something that is simply a marker. You know, curiosity and all that?
