  1. We have not heard of anyone else with this issue so this sounds like a localised issue to do with your system/setup rather than something with our site. Please can you tell us: What browser you are using? What addons you are using in your browser?Whether you are using any "internet security" software, like McAfee or similar?Similarly, can you tell me if this happens if you try downloading files via "incognito" mode or your browser's equivalent. When browsing in this mode it won't use any addons so it's normally a good way to see if it's any addons causing this issue.
  2. NMM was decommissioned by us in 2016 and has not been supported by us since then. Collections was released in 2022. NMM will not support Collections.
  3. Can confirm that the email sent to support was sent 9 minutes after this topic was posted here at 22:44 on Sunday evening. We take these sorts of accusations very seriously, but our records show no cancellation request was made and this is almost certainly user error.
  4. You've downloaded over 450 mods since going Premium a few days ago so it can't be all bad. Any throttling is not done on our end. If I were to copy you and throw around completely ridiculous and unfounded accusations then it sounds like your ISP is scamming you and not us. If you're not willing to do the tests to help us diagnose the issue then we cannot help and this is a waste of everyone's time. Start another thread with the tests done if you actually want help.
  5. The reason is purely technical. We use a number of different CDNs and edge nodes to serve image content so it's extremely difficult to "flush" deleted content instantly. However, much like other social networks (Facebook for example), there will be times where we might do a "clear out" of orphaned content on one or more CDNs at which point the content will be removed as part of this process.
  6. Because we record all unique downloads for the system that enables us to reward and pay mod authors for their work, our Donation Points system.
  7. This is going around in circles. As per our help article, we only officially support the following browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Yandex, Chome Mobile and Safari Mobile. If your browser is not on that list then you can by all means ask for help or let us know of any issues, but it's quite possible we cannot provide any support or changes to help rectify your issue as you are using a browser that is not officially supported by us.
  8. We're aware of this issue. The database has fallen a little behind. The information is all there and nothing has been lost, but the retrieval of the data might be a bit...patchy...for a day or so while we get it fixed up after a busy Christmas and New Year period.
  9. I use Sky internet as one of my ISPs to my home here in Exeter and I cannot reproduce this issue when downloading from the Prague server. See below. However, I would steer clear of the Amsterdam server for a few days as we need to do a little work on it to bring it up to speed with the others. This would not have affected your download speeds at our other locations so is unrelated.
  10. The PayPal report for the payout(s) made containing your payment(s) come back with the error "Refused" in PayPal. This is automated and something on PayPal's end, not ours. Our system automatically refunds your DP when this happens. I would check to ensure your account can receive payments from a UK PayPal account in USD and that PayPal works in your country for this sort of transaction. There is nothing we can do on our end about this, unfortunately. While more payout providers is something we would like to look at in the future, it is not something that is on our radar immediately right now.
  11. The tax the Indian government has chased us for is OIDAR: https://www.cbic.gov.in/resources//htdocs-cbec/gst/OIDAR.pdf There is no minimum-threshold for OIDAR.
  12. Hello, you only emailed the support address last night (Saturday) at 7.40pm, so not "several days ago". At that time, you received an automated response letting you know someone from the support team would get back to you soon and what our working hours are. The email states "Our business hours are 09:00 - 17:00 (GMT), Monday to Friday". You then emailed the support address again at 00.40am today, Sunday morning and then again this evening, at 8pm, claiming that support was "ghosting" you even though you were told in the first automated response what our business hours are. Be patient. While you can wait for an email from our support team, our recovery options are listed on this page: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/108-account-recovery If you cannot provide anything from what is listed on that page then it is very likely you will not be able to gain access to your old account.
  13. Our site is constantly changing and updating. We do not develop with adblockers in mind, nor do we attempt to break the functionality of the site for those people using them.
  14. I've tested with Chrome and uBlock installed this morning and I cannot find any issues. Whatever issue people were/are experiencing is likely being caused by an update to uBlock/Brave's adblocking functionality breaking our site and nothing to do with us. We are not responsible for custom browser plugins breaking our website. Brave is not a browser we actively support (this means that it's not a browser we test with/against when working on the site). It may work or it may not, but we do not develop with Brave in mind.
  15. That page uses JavaScript in order to function properly. If you have disabled JavaScript in your browser or you are using an extension like "NoScript" or similar to block JavaScript from working properly on Nexus Mods then this will affect how the page works. The page won't actually allow you to pay if you have JavaScript disabled. If you are saying you could pay, but the price isn't changing, then that would suggest something in your setup is blocking some of our JavaScript but not all of it, and we'd like to know what browser and extensions you are using so we can better understand how we can replicate this issue.
  16. You're still being a clown, unfortunately. It is not up to us to prove it is the user's browser addons and/or privacy settings blocking our own site's login cookies (i.e. not tracking cookies) from working. They can choose to try and troubleshoot the issue or not. Ultimately, it's their choice, and if they don't want to take our advice and try our suggestions then that's that. Prattling on about laws that have absolutely no bearing on this issue is simply daft.
  17. This will almost certainly be the cause of your problems. Addons like this block things indiscriminately. Try turning them off or add an exception for the "users.nexusmods.com" domain. California's Privacy Protection Act (summary) requires web sites to provide users with options necessary to control what and how cookies and data are collected. Under the law. users can control what data is collected, how the data is used, whether tracking cookies (cookies which follow you from site to site, tracking your interactions) were to be permitted to collect data and whether or not their data can be sold for fun or profit. Further, the law has a provision which states that businesses cannot discriminate against a user for exercising this control over their data. By way of example, I am currently blocking the following tracking cookies right here, right now: google-analytics.comgravatar.comwp.comfacebook.comapis.google.comconnect.facebook.netgstatic.comxx.fbcdn.netNow, telling a user that their blocking tracking cookies is why they can't change their Email Address smacks of discriminating against a user, under the conditions of the CA Law. Further, telling a user that they must disable their privacy protection software truly sounds like a discrimination against the user for availing themselves of the provisions of the law. But what the hell, Nexusmods doesn't comply with California Law, anyway. Last I heard, Robin's stance is that he and his company, BlackTree Gaming, could blithely ignore the laws in California, as California has no jurisdiction over a company in Exeter England. I wonder if California's Attorney General would agree? There is a online form here somewhere. Don't be a clown. What was said: Adding an exception for our domain so the site actually works is by no means a breach of the CPPA and to suggest such is farcical, symbolic of your more cynical messages of late.
  18. We're looking into this issue today. There seems to have been a bug introduced into our code in the past week which is affecting a small handful of purchases, one of which is yours. Once we've got to the bottom of it we'll ensure your account is fully upgraded and we'll add on a couple of weeks of free time to your membership in way of apology for the hassle caused. Sorry about this.
  19. Definitely not anywhere near that long. It should be minutes. Please email [email protected] and they'll get it sorted.
  20. FaterFater has received a formal warning. This user has now received 1 formal warnings. The warning was given for the following reason: Reference This warning was issued for what took place here Important links: Our terms of service
  21. That's exactly how the process already works.
  22. kanalid banned Reason: Spammer.
  23. This is embarrassing, but I don't know how to take a screenshot in windows... If you're on Windows 10 or later (maybe even works for earlier versions, I'm not sure), press the windows key and then type "snipping". You want the "snipping tool" app that comes as default with Windows. From there, select "New" and then draw a box over what you would like to take a picture of. When you've got a good one that shows the whole site with all the bad ads on it, click "save", save it to your computer, and then upload it here.
