Vigilants of Stendarr :Paladin Order
Scorch621 replied to Artistdude05's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Wow, sound interesting...The Vigil can definitely use some improvement, If you need a concept artist I'm up for it, that's if you want it...I'll do my best to help. Remember though the Vigils heart is in the right place, but they kinda give me the religious zealot "burn everything" vibe sometimes, so just keep that in mind when you do the quests... good luck! -
Any sort of Ranger or hunter armor with pants!! like the ithlien rangers or the Knights Watch from Game of Thrones, along with some suitable bows and swords... Better armor for the legion and stormcloaks...I find it hard to take the legion seriously with their knees freezing off and the stormcloaks looking like city guards... I would have thought the Stormcloaks would look like actual norse warriors, with horned helmets and all that jazz.

Why do I sense Thalmor involved DLC in the new future?

Post about your random encounters here
Scorch621 replied to WarKirby3333's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
A group of bandits marching through the forest. Fake legionaires Thalmor assholes Vigilant of Stendarr guys Thieves fighting guards in Riften DB assassin Thugs Forsworn Ambush in the Reach(They literally just jumped off a small cliff and in front of me) Scavenger stripping bodies Headless Horseman Mai'q The liar outside Winterhold Mages travelling to Whiterun for the tree Louis Letrush being murdered by a black-briar thug (waste of a good horse,If you've done the quest) Random Stormcloak battles with the legion(Really small though, like 2-3 men on each side) These weird alchemist camps keep popping up, with journals and stuff... -
Things you found silly... WARNING: HEAVY SPOILERS
Scorch621 replied to XunAmarox's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
How a lot of the guards are apparently members of the dark brotherhood...and how enemies seem to aim for guards and adventurer's knees... and how marriage seems more like a business deal, rather than a relationship... I still love the game though! -
Yeah agreed, this mod has a ton of potential, the civil war quests were very flat, when you finally kill Ulfric/Tullius it just ends... there's no big celebration or decree or things that change to a humongous extent, like when the imperials finally win, I was expecting a parade or imperial banners flying everywhere, or public executions or something... We need to see the effect of the war on Skyrim, both during and after. and like others have said, your suddenly promoted to (insert appropriate rank name here) and yay!...you have a title that means jack nothing, I'd like to see an castle or fort that you can command or improve, that you have to run on a regular basis or it fall into disarray... Like maybe instead of pitching tents and stuff(which would take a ton of scripting not to mention pathing and scripting problems) your character could get a fort when they reach the appropriate rank, then they have to run this fort, upgrade it, hire soldiers for it etc etc. maybe we could even customize the fort to your style, like you know in fallout 3 your homes could be "themed" maybe your fort could be themed? Like say to a battlemage fort, or a scout/ranger fort or even a tyrant/warlord style fort with blood and guts strewn everywhere? and even as the mod develops we could theme the soldiers of your fort too?

Agreed, more blades, more people, more stuff...more reasons to kill or not kill Paarthunaax... we need to tell the blades to calm down and get out of the big boy pants...

I actually prefer the empire to the Stormcloaks, I've done both story-lines. Hadvar was merely doing his job, what would have happened to Hadvar if he just said no to the Captain, the captain would have probably sent him to the chopping block too, considering how much of an a**hole she was... Neither the imperials nor the Stormcloaks are the bad guy here, The Dragons and Thalmor are! The Only reason Skyrim has a rebellion on its hands is because the Empire had to surrender to the Thalmor, they thought it would be better to save men and resources, regroup and reorganize into something that can take the fight to the Thalmor, the reason I support the Imperials is because the seek to unite the empire whereas the Stormcloaks want to seperate it, Skyrim would never be able to take on the whole of the Thalmor on its own...The whole empire couldnt, so one province on its own wont stand a chance... The Thalmor also have the Khajiits on thier hands now too...so its not only the Thalmor the Stormcloaks would have to conted with...
-
This is just personal opinion but I think the Imperial armor needs trousers...instead of the pantless skirt like legionaire look...its freezing in Skyrim!! Its like that on a lot of the armors, it looks fine on some but others it doesnt make sense, like the male leather armor!, it kinda looks like he's just dropped the female armor on top! Skyrim needs pants...

Well that settle it...read more books... The only books I've been reading are the ones connected to the Great War...

What is the most likely dlc in your opinion?
Scorch621 replied to Guy97's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
There always hope, the Dwemer are a big part of Skyrim, after all they did have an elder scroll... I'm hoping for the Thalmor DLC firs if there is one...I just want to hunt Thalmor on their pretty little isle... then burn it all to the ground...or at leat burn some Thalmor, I'm happy either way... -
I second the above post!

What is the most likely dlc in your opinion?
Scorch621 replied to Guy97's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Yeah But like so many others it will have something to do with the Thalmor, they're the true enemy!! THEY MUST DIE!! hope we get to go to the isles and take the fight to them! Also I wouldn't surprised to see Sheogorath getting involved in some form of DLC... He's such an awesome character... I wonder what happened to the knights of the nine? the Thalmor probably hunted them down as well...considering the fact they worship Talos etc. -
Yeah a mod could work, kinda like a flashback sort of thing...like your character reads a book and your suddenly thrust into an imagining in the dragonbornes mind of what happened from a soldiers perspective or something...
-
I've killed Paarthunaax on my second play-through, I can safely say I felt terribly guilty about it, the blades help isn't that great to be honest, and at some point there will be a mod that allows you to lie about killing Paarthunaax(the devs should have done that :( ) I love the blades but Wrath of Deadguy has some very good points, Tiber Septim hid the fact he knew Paarthunaax from the blades, that must mean something!! Killing Paarthunaax leaves the game with the feeling of massive holes... I miss that old dragon :'(
-
Thalmor trash!!! they MUST DIE!!! that pretty much sums up my views on the subject... it kinda fits into my characters backstory as well so...I made it fit!! I hope we get DLC to go to summerset isles and take the fight to the Thalmor! If not...mods... but again, THE THALMOR MUST DIE!!! I HAD A HOUSE IN ANVIL!!!
-
Thats actually a very good ppint, the CoC wouldnt want to cause more problems for the empire after they have no real emperor...and as you said, theres always mods :D
-
Maybe the Champion simply served as regent to Sheogoraths throne? and stepped down at some point after some period of time...whats interesting to me is how Sheogorath is calling you an old friend...something smells strange here...and it aint the clowns...
-
Nice Dave! Couple questions: I heard bows can be used somehow as melee weapons that true? And Is there any sort of "Rangery" like clothing in the game? like Ranger leather or something? Because I also usually play as a Ranger like character too(I just dont steal things, I'm a goody two shoes) Thanks for the article too!!
