  1. Patch the game to official 1.7 patch and you don't need the unofficial ones anymore.

Try removing the perk first, see if it still turns into a bloody mess.

    Player.removeperk 00094EBA.

These 2 might not be compatible with each other, unless they're from the same mod and officially confirmed to be compatible by the author.

    realisticdismemberment.esp

    unbloodymess.esp

Try using one of them only.

  2. XFO mod is considered really old and it hasn't been updated for a long time, even before some of the DLC's came out. I'm also currently using that, but.... not the full version. I also currently own Operation Anchorage only too. Here's what you can do, open back the whole mod package and then use and pick single .esp files instead of the full version. Determine which one of the .esp is causing the lag and just don't use it.

There's a possibility that XFO is not compatible with FOOK. I'm not using FOOK, so I can't test for you.

  3. That's a good question. It was possible to do in Oblivion, so I'm guessing it would be possible to do in Fallout 3 as well.

But come on, let's be honest here. We all know what the first thing to receive the jigglebone treatment would be. :P

I'd have to disagree with you there. Not all of us want that, it's just not logical that when you're wearing tight leather armor or vault suits then it'll jiggle away. Vanilla female NPC wear undershirts. Anyway, I don't have a clue whether it is possible but I really hope so because lots of us are waiting for animated clothings/hair that flow with the wind and physics.

  4. I asked the moderators to move this thread to the request section, it should be there. It has been suggested before, I think it is not possible due to current limitations of FOSE. I'm unsure though, let's let the script modders comment on this.
  5. Just as a reminder, you should install the game into your PC hard drive and not on an external source drive like a portable external hard drive. You don't necessary need to install it to C drive can be any other drive as long it is from your PC.

    Try reinstalling Fallout 3.

EDIT: I think you installed Fallout Mod Manager wrongly. You should install it to here: Example- E:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\fomm

EDIT: It is common for lag if you're using overhaul mods like MMM mod and also if your computer isn't up for it. Overhaul mods need extra processing power from your CPU.

  7. Do you own Fallout 3 GOTY Edition or the normal one? Are you sure it is mod related? Please post your system specs and have you tried to test with a new game and your currently selected mods? To really test, disable XFO_full_Preconfig_STANDALONE.esp and then start a new game just to test and see if it lags.

    ---------------------------------------------------- Merged files

    i.e. Mez's Merged Patch

If you don't have some of the mods like EVE then just skip it.

  9. Crash on exit is very common. You can't fix that when you have that many mods. Nothing seems to be wrong with your load order but there's a possibility that the problem is in your merge patch. Have you tried starting a new game to test? Do you still get random crashes and walking through enemies and walls?
