  1. Did you add iPresentInterval=0 to both skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini? They both need the line added under Display. But as mentioned above, framerates over 60 tend to mess up the physics of objects, making them jitter and fly everywhere just by looking at them.
  2. Try running the default skyrim configurator with the new inis, that might correct the lighting issue.
  3. You can use my inis as a reference and correct where needed. 4. But the uGrid setting would not explain the fps loss in an interior cell like the Jarl house would it?
  5. I don't get below 60fps in that area, but the frame rate does fluctoate about 15-20%. My system: i5K, 8GB, gtx670 2GB You could try disabling vsync, by adding iPresentInterval=0 to both Skyrimprefs.in and Skyrim.ini under the Display section. This should smooth out the frame rate a bit. I still think you should ditch the old inis and start over tweaking, because there's so much wrong with them I don't know where to start. :)
  6. Does the game still crash if you add the uGridsToLoad=7 line?
  7. Ok, the game crashes with the clean inis, because you had uGridsToLoad=7 in the old Skyrim.ini. You have to add this line manually to new 'Skyrim.ini' under the General section, otherwise it loads the default uGridsToLoad=5, which is incompatible with your saves. I don't know about the fullscreen issue, do you have any dll files that might interfere with this?
  8. Sorry, but why did you post the broken inis then? You haven't explained what issues you are having with resolution and fullscreen.
  9. As far as I can see your ini files are completely messed up. Entries in the wrong sections, and missing entries. It would probably be best to let the game create new inis. Backup and delete the current inis, then run the configurator and run the game.
  10. That isn't vanilla behavior, as far as I know. Could you list what mods you use?
  11. Take a look here: Early-Middleages Helmets pack for Skyrim The face plate helmet in this pack is very similar to the Sutton Hoo helm.
  12. Wish I knew. :| Anyway, have you seen this amazing helmet mod?: Early-Middleages Helmets pack for Skyrim
  13. Arms and Armour 5 Axes Maces for Skyrim This guy does great stuff, check out all his mods.
  14. Following this. My biggest issue with that quest, was that it didn't let me murder the hell out of Cicero.
  15. Sorry, my other post was actually poorly wriiten haha. I meant that hitting apply after transform would possibly fix the problem.
  16. Did you click 'Apply' in the transform menu in nifskope after the edit? I can't remember if this is necessary with weapons.
  17. Mount and Blade-ish melee combat! Basically more control of where you prod someone with your weapon, instead of pretending you're playing baseball. More weapon types, armors that make sense etc. Hey, I can dream can't I?
  18. I like the idea of huge multilevel dungeon a lot. The closed circuit dungeons of Skyrim always made me go "was that it?", with a few exceptions. I don't see legality being a problem, since you wouldn't have to use the exact title of the original, just the general idea behind it, which isn't that unigue anyway.
  19. SenorPato already did it: Killer Rabbit (I haven't tried it myself) There's also Tim the Enchanter's Hat, which is a must have. of course.
  20. If you find some weapons you like as replacers, I can do it for you. Basically you just drop the replacer models into the folder: 'skyrim\data\meshes\weapons\draugr' and rename them to default ancient nord(draugr) filenames. There are 2 models for each weapon, a first person model and a third person model.. For example the onehanded sword must have the name '1stpersondraugrsword.nif' for the first person model, and 'draugrsword.nif' for the third person model.
  21. The Chronicles of Steel -Skyrim- Realswords has a bunch of nordic swords. Most of them come with 'worn' and 'old' versions with chipped and rusty blades. I think they would be perfect as replacers.
  22. I just realized the concept armor is from War of the Vikings. http://www.warofthevikings.com/media/screenshots?page=1 Really like the armor designs they use in that game, aswell as in War of the Roses. The combat is just a bit too clunky i feel, compared to M&B Warband.
  23. Haha Exactly. The imperial armors make no sense at all.
  24. I'd say the pauldrons are way too big. The scales on them could just be part of the normal map, like on the cuirass. But that could possibly give some weird stretching issues during animations..? It's really cool you are doing this, and prepared to listen to our 'demands'. :) @Osfrid: The leggings could just be under the 'skirt'. I think it looks weird with just pants like the thief guild armor for example, but that's just me. Also, strange that the OP hasn't checked back yet.
