  1. I think that looks great. It's hard to see on the OP's pics, but the leather straps on the shoulderpieces probably go around the arm and are not attached to the cuirass. If they were, they would seriously hinder movement of the arms. Looks like they are attached to the cuirass by two leather straps on top of the shoulders.
  2. I don't know if anyone else in the thread or the OP would agree with this, but it would be nice if the armor is not overly ornate with gold and twiddly bits etc. all over. But rather something that looks practical and worn. Also remember the plates should be overlapping eachother from the top down. Of course your sketch is just an example.
  3. 'Truly Undead* does excactly that. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46851/?
  4. I believe they are from EWIs True Weaponry of Viscounts and Sirrahs.
  5. Sorry, no. But it's something I thought about doing for my own amusement a few times..manually There are no vanilla per race levelled lists as far as i know. Another thing you'd think would be 'easy' to automate somehow. So I'll be following the thread in case some genius shows up. :)
  6. You can edit the skincolour presets for each race globally in the CK [Character/Race], but a lot of the npcs use custom colours outside the default presets, so these would obviously not be affected. I don't know if there's some handy tool or script that can do what you want. It seems it would be relatively simple to make (I have no idea).
  7. Just an alternative suggestion using only the CK to fiddle with colours and effect. Load up the Dawnguard.esm in the CK, then go to "Magic\Magic Effect" then look for and edit "DLC1nVampireDrainShadeEffect" (I'm guessing that's the one). I'm not sure how much it's possible to edit it this way, but this is how I would begin. (editing textures is scary to me :ohdear:). Edit: I don't know what I'm talking about. It's not as simple as I thought.
  8. This?: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33502/? Be sure to read the comment section, the mod has some issues.
  9. I don't know about the 'armor', but I'm pretty sure the weapons are the Akaviri saber and short saber, from Jaysus Swords: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1002/?
  10. It's been a while since I've tried "Climates of Tamriel", but I remember that the shadows seemed much lighter, which I liked. Unfortunately CoT has so much other stuff I don't really care for. I'm still trying to tweak a basic enb to my liking, mostly the vanilla bloom and stuff like that.
  11. On the combat dialogue..."Better Ini Tweaks" by sevencards, lists a setting that disables all combat dialogue: "bDisableCombatDialogue=1 Disables all combat related dialogue for your character and NPCs. Your character will no longer grunt while performing power attacks and NPCs will not grunt or make comments during battle." It's an all or nothing solution of course, but editing out the most idiotic combat dialogue manually would be extremely tedious work.
  12. Glad you figured it out. The armor looks good. I'm just starting looking into rigging armors, seems there will be plenty of frustrating moments ahead.
  13. You have of course matched the biped slots, in the CK armor form, with those in the .nif?
  14. I know, it's been months since I actually played the game. Looks good, where is the torso from?
  15. Oh yes, the ribbons. I don't know how to edit meshes, but I tried to make the ribbon transparent...that just looked weird. Beyond my skills anyway... That armor looks good though.
  16. I was just looking at the Dethmold robes in nifskope, and I thought the neck/mantle-chainmail-thing could be perfect for a bandit or mercenary armor. Just a suggestion if you need more neckcovering parts. It looks pretty good ingame.
  17. Yep, that's a vanilla thing. I honestly never thought of it as an oversight, just as some variation or 'flavour'.
  18. I just want to help. I really like the project, and if I notice something I'll shout. :p Yes, good idea to leave it optional. I realize the hd texture file will be huge.
  19. OK, here's an example. This is the Imperial Guard Armor with the textures you uploaded: http://i43.tinypic.com/15s7as2.jpg And this is with the textures from Credo4: http://i39.tinypic.com/nd8yag.jpg The difference is quite significant to me.
  20. There are higher res textures for everything. They just seem to have uploaded the low res ones by mistake..which is weird.there..is...no...mistake..again -.-'I've uploaded the original Textures I got from Luddemann... Witcher, if you look at Luddemann's uploads: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/16379/? credo4, 5, and 6, you will find the original 2048x2048 textures.Have you somehow used a texture optimizer on the textures you uploaded? I doubt it was intentional to upload 1024x1024 textures, that's why i say 'mistake'. How it happened I obviously have no idea. I never used those textures, the look is the same than the uploaded onesThe actually textures aren't "lower" than the original the 2k versions, the only difference is they need more mb. 1k and 2k... No, they must be saved as dxt5, dxt3 etc Excuse my english, i could need more sleep and it's not my native language So what you are saying is, that the textures you uploaded aren't the original ones? All i know is, the textures you uploaded are definitely 1k.

  23. I just noticed, that there are 3 .psd files in the Imperial Knight texture folder. If they are removed from the texture dowload, it will be reduced by 80MB. About the texture quality, most of the armor diffuse maps are 1024x1024, is this intentional? Also, sorry for being a pain in the arse.
  24. If the framerate goes above 60, in the game, physics tend to go wonky. I'm guessing that's what you mean. Try this framerate limiter : http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34/? It should be fairly straightfoward and easy to configure. But i'll be happy to help if you have any questions.
  25. If you add the swords from The Witcher, will you retxture them? I remember the textures as horrible lowres ones, compared to the armors. Btw, how many different helmets have you added/ported?
