  1. Press left shift to change rotation axis, right?
  2. Just use "Place Everywhere" : http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9424/?
  3. I have set steam to update games only when they are launched, So right now in my game library, Fallout 4 says 'update required', but if I just launch the game with F4SE, it bypasses steam and doesn't update anything.
  4. Start Steam first, maybe have it start up with Windows. Then you can launch the game with F4SE loader.
  5. I guess it's this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/60201/?
  6. When you uninstalled the game, did you delete the Fallout4 folder? If you just use the steam ui or windows uninstaller to remove programs, any custom files such as mods for example, still reside in their folder.
  7. Thank Todd. That was the most annoying thing, ever.
  8. Yes indeed: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9424/?
  9. Thanks. It's really weird that the option only is available in the god-awful big picture mode, though
  10. You can turn it off the in the Settings<Display menu. I play with it off, some of the textures on armor and clothing are just not made to be zoomed in on like that.
  11. It definitely happens with mines. It's hard to say if it's a bug or a feature..this is Bethesda after all. The mine thing seems to happen even if you exit an area or cell, and then reenter, but rather with them spawning, not despawning...Surprise!
  12. I have been messing with fo4edit, trying to locate the entries to edit. No luck so far. With the GECK it'll probably be fairly easy to do. I wish I had explored most of the downtown ruins, before doing the quest that triggers the vertibirds. Why have the most performance destroying area in the game, swarmed with performance destroying flying things..grr
  13. The CBBE filter is less than a week old. It's a most welcome addition.
  14. I get a little emotional when I think about Eye of the Beholder. Good times. Thanks EA...lol
  15. Reduce the shadow draw distance, or use this mod to have the shadow draw distance change dynamically to maintain a user specified target framrate: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1822/?
  16. I don't know, I guess I'm just slow. According to Steam I have played Fallout 4 for 253 hours, with one character, and I guess I'm about 1/3 into the main quest. If you look at Gopher's playthrough on YT, it's pretty similar to my playstyle in these kind of games, though I don't have quite the same OCD regarding loot. There are plenty of things I'd wish Bethesda had done differently, as always, but it's always the exploring and noticing tiny details in the design of the gameworld that appeal to me. I don't read spoilers and I don't 'powergame' or 'savescum'.
  17. @Gamefever It's funny that you think the complainers are an entity that can be adressed in a single topic. If you have a problem with threads like this, take it up with the moderators.
  18. You don't see the irony of this line? I never implied you were a "bad guy". You are just as entitled to express your opinion on someone's opinion, as I am expressing my opinion on your opinion on someone's opinion. As was mentioned by another poster, this is he Fallout General Discussion Forum, so basically anything goes, as long as it complies with the rules of the forum.
  19. I'm sure the moderators are quite capable of removing or locking topics, that they or the site owner find inappropriate. That's obviously not your job. If you don't like a topic just don't read it. :)
  20. Removes the stalls and adds a cash register, that can be used with the 'counter' workshop object: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5181/?
  21. Yea, I use that mod, and it helps a bit. The encounters are still annoying as hell though, because of how useless the vertibird crews are at killing stuff. So the mod just make them linger around the target longer, trying to shoot through walls and whatnot. It would be nice to the vertibirds buzz by once in a while, but have them not engage in combat so often.
  22. player.setscale 0.25 player.setav speedmult 25 It's all about perspective. But I agree, the map is way too small/dense.
  23. I use this for all driver settings and framerate capping: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/nvidia-inspector-download.html
