  1. What mods did you have? I think that area is naturally foggy, but probably not that much. Something you had installed probably didn't uninstall correctly.
  2. I put a link there...maybe a mod removed it. Just google "Skyrim Mabari Mod". I think it was on a Russian site.
  3. It kind of looks like a PUP virus to me. Have you had your default search engine replaced by a different one without explanation? If so(and probably even if you haven't), you should run MalwareBytes or something. I had a couple of them once, and Microsoft Security Essentials couldn't find them, so don't just use that.
  4. You may need to use a different ENB. I believe there are some that are set up to actually increase performance, so maybe try one of those to give you more room to add textures and models. I highly suggest Static Mesh Improvement mod, and you should try some texture mods too, if it seems like your FPS is okay.
  5. Sounds to me like you should play Oblivion. I don't think it would be too hard to add a lie option, but I don't know anything about dialogue editing. In these situations, I actually suggest role-playing a little bit. I was also bothered by these quests, and have come up with my preferred way of doing them when I play a "Robin Hood" kind of character. Maybe it will work for you too. Maybe it won't, but I figured suggesting it wouldn't hurt anything.(I'm terrible with names, so I hope you can understand who I'm talking about.) For the first quest where you plant the ring, you can just let yourself run out of time without ever even stealing the ring. For Taking Care of Business, you can help the young woman at the inn blackmail her aunt, which she is grateful because her aunt treats her poorly. Then you can go to the store and talk to the man who is supposed to pay you. You still kind of have to bully him, but he annoys me, and somehow I have convinced myself that he deserves it. I usually break his urn rather than beat him up, as that is the least violent solution. I then talk to the argonian at the other inn, who is the only one of the three characters I actually like, and I don't have to say anything to her, because she's already heard about the other two people. I kind of feel like it's okay because she doesn't know that the other people deserve it and that I would never hurt her. I kind of feel bad every time the male argonian says his line that's something like "how dare you show your face here after what you did to (the female argonian's name)", but there's not really a way around that. Like you said, there's no easy way out of Dampened Spirits. The guy seems a little shady to me because of the random semi-powerful mage in his cellar, but that's about it. I suppose it would be reasonable to believe that he knows about the mage, but the mage's journal suggests that isn't the case.

  8. I assume you mean "Death Hound". Anyway, here's a mabari.
  9. Use RaceMenu. It allows you to make skin any color.
  10. It would definitely be possible. Older people even have their own race, so it wouldn't be very hard. I think it would look a little funny if they went from walking hunched over to sweeping a floor with good posture or something like that, though.
  11. Hmmm...I'll think about this and let you know if I come up with anything. Something like OBIS might work, but it isn't lore-friendly. I imagine some of the combat AI overhauls might work, but I don't know.
  12. There's not really a good way to get permission from a non-English-speaking mod author, unfortunately...
  13. Please don't bump. I can't make it for you thanks to crappy internet that won't let me upload or download, but I can try to talk you through the process. It really shouldn't be terribly complicated, I don't think. After thinking about is a little bit, I believe you will need the custom race to use a different head mesh directory. I don't know how to make it do that, but you can use a mod called "Custom Races" to give you a second version of every race using new directories. You'll need to install it before you start working in the Creation Kit. Use the link at the top of the mod page if you have Dawnguard. You can find "Custom Races" here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8720/? -Go into the Creation Kit and click the folder icon. Load up the following esms and esps, and optionally make CustomRaces.esp the active file: Skyrim.esm Update.esm CustomRaces.esp (if you have Dawnguard) Dawnguard.esm RaceCompatibility.esm NOTE: If some of these esms and esps are not showing up in the Creation Kit, you probably just forgot to turn them on. Use NMM or whatever you use and check the boxes next to the above listed files. 1. When the Creation Kit starts loading the files, it will probably have some errors. These are, as far as I know, from th vanilla game. Just click "yes to all". 2. Hit the floppy disc icon and save your esp under whatever name you want if you didn't make CustomRaces.esp your active file. 3. In the object window, go to Character>HeadPart>female>Head Part or Character>HeadPart>male>Head Part. You can come back and repeat this step for the other gender, if you want. 4. Double click on the custom race head that you want to make headless. It should be close to the top of the list, as the list is alphabetical and the author of Custom Races kindly put :01" in front of the names of the new assets. For example, to make the custom breton race have headless females, double click on "01CustomFemaleHeadBreton". You can come back and do this for other races, if you want. 5. Click on the "Edit" button to the right of the "Model" textbox. Hit "Edit" to the right of the "Model File Name" textbox. Hit "Cancel". The "Model File Name" textbox should be empty. Hit "OK". 6. Click on the "Edit" button to the right of the "Tri" textbox. Hit "Cancel". The "Tri" textbox should be empty. Repeat for the "Chargen Morph" and "Race Morph" textboxes. Hit "OK". 7. Save. It's optional, of course, but I've had some bad experiences with the Creation Kit. 8. Repeat steps 4-6 for each race/gender you want to make headless. 9. Go to Character>Race, and find the custom race you are making headless. These don't have the nice "01" in front of them, so you'll find them where they fall alphabetically, in the "C"s. For example, for a headless custom breton race, find and double click on "CustomBretonRace". -We're almost done. At this point, you can check either the "Full" or "Head" preview box at the bottom of the race window to see what you've done so far. What you will see is a body with a mouth floating above the top of the neck. If you see a head, make sure you have the correct gender box marked at the top of the window. Now all we have to do is get rid of the mouth and add the decapitation cap. 11. Go to the "Text" tab of the race window. Here you can change the name and description displayed for the race in the race menu in game. 12. Go to the "Face Data" tab. Under "Base Head" in the left of the window, click on the entry that has "Face" in the type column. The exact headpart name will vary. The headpart name from the earlier example is "01CustomFemaleHeadBreton". 13. In the "Additional Head" table in the lower left of the window, you will see an entry with "Misc" under type and either "MaleMouthHumanoidDefault" or "FemaleMouthHumanoidDefault" under "Head Part". Click and press the delete key or right click and click delete. NOTE: If it isn't deleted when you do this, repeat step 12. 14. Repeat steps 11-13 for all races and genders you want to make headless. Save. -Now all we're missing is the bloody part of the neck. Just a few more steps, I promise. 15. Go to Items>Armor, and click on the skin "armor" for the race you are making headless. The Custom Races author put a couple of zeros in front of the skins, so they should be right at the top and easy to find. For example, continuing the previous examples, I would double click on "00CustomSkinNakedBreton". 16. Right click in the "Models" table in the bottom right of the armor window, and click "New". Scroll down or type in the filter bar to find "DecapitatedNeckAA". If you are doing this for one of the beast races, there is a separate decapitated neck. Select it and hit "OK", or double click on it. 17. Before you close the armor window, highlight "51 - Unnamed" under "Biped Object". Click "OK". 18. Repeat steps 15-17 for other races you want to make headless. 19. If you want, you can now go to Character>Race and get rid of the races that you aren't using. Just double click on a race, go to the "General Data" tab, and uncheck the "Playable" box to make it no longer appear in the race menu in game. 20. Pat yourself on the back. NOTE:You may need to repeat some of the steps for the vampire versions of any races you are using. If you don't, it is possible that you will have a head or floating mouth if you become a vampire.
  14. You can probably just use the texture that is used for normal dragon skulls. Unless you mess with the UV on the new models(which will actually be edited versions of the base dragon skull model), this will save you a lot of time. You don't have to stick with the vanilla texture, either. I'm sure there are some dragon bone retextures that have open permissions. Alternatively, you could make the skulls use whatever dragon bone texture is installed for the skeleton.
  15. I would love to see the return of the language skills from Arena/Daggerfall. If I remember correctly, you could learn to speak Daedric, Spriggan, Centaurian, Impish, Harpy, Giantish, Orcish(despite the fact that orcs do not have their own language lore-wise), Nymph, and Dragonish(they didn't call it Dovahzul yet, but "Dragonish" sounds kind of funny to me). I honestly never got far enough to see the effects firsthand. That said, I do think it would be interesting if you couldn't read books. It would probably be possible to make a duplicate of the child gift system. Instead of child clothes that you can't wear, you would give books that you can't read. Of course, you would also have to give the books to someone who could read them(probably not a child, unless there are lore reasons why that particular child would know how to read - maybe the privileged kids, like Balgruuf's son and daughter). I believe that, in medieval times, most people couldn't read. I think maybe reading should have the same limitations as fast travelling or waiting. You shouldn't be able to read when there's an enemy swinging a sword at your head, but you should be able to read while standing when you're safe. Maybe limit it to only being able to read while inside a building where you aren't trespassing. I believe there is a mod that makes time pass while you read, and it may already incorporate constraints on when you can read. I don't know. EDIT: I just looked it up, and there weren't actually skills in Arena, so the language skills were just in Daggerfall. I had to correct myself because of OCD.
  16. It is possible to create a new weapon type with new animations, models, and stats. In fact, several such mods exist. Here are some of the first ones I came across: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26653/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36147/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/62609/? I would suggest looking at how those mods are set up to help with making your own. It is, unfortunately, impossible to create a new skill tree without learning how to use Flash, so you will probably have to make the new weapon type be governed by the one-handed skill.
  17. It looks fine. The only thing I want to point out is that SkyUI requires SKSE, so make sure you have Skyrim running through it.
  18. I suggest DynDOLOD: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59721/?
  19. I've never heard of it before. Do you have any animation mods or skeleton mods installed? I know that FNIS can cause an issue with an arm if it isn't configured correctly, but I've never seen what that problem looks like in game.
  20. The mods you listed should all work together. I personally have never used Bash, and in this case I think it would be okay if you didn't use it. I've never use Immersive Creatures, but unless there are a lot of humanoid creatures that carry weapons and armor, I don't think it will be noticeable if you choose not to make a Bashed patch. If you have Immersive Weapons and Immersive Armor above Immersive Creatures in the load order, it may apply the new weapons and armors to the leveled lists used by Immersive Creatures automatically, assuming Immersive Creatures uses the vanilla leveled lists. I'm not sure about that, though.
  21. I do use Blender. I'll have to learn how to use that. Thanks.
  22. Thank you guys for the responses. I really appreciate it. I may try to get permission for the argonian hair, as I really like having different feather styles for argonians. I'm thinking about just retexturing some of the humanoid hairs to be feathers instead of hair, but it will probably look like crap. My only problem with determining what is possible to do without advanced tools is that some people have naturally wavy hair, and I find it difficult to tell the difference between hair that is naturally wavy and hair that is made wavy by a curling iron. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for the floaty, wispy ends though, so thanks for that advice.
  23. I didn't see this thread again until now. I'm still willing to help, but my internet has been a little bit sketchy lately, so I'd rather not Skype. If you send me assets and tell me what to do with them, though, I will help. Just be aware that I can't do weighting, so if boots have to be weighted, someone else will have to do it(unless the weighting from the original asset is good enough).
