    HGEC textures for Lattamer

    Is there any good HGEC textures for Lattamer? The race only comes with an eycandy texture and that's a bit old now. I found some high res textures but they are too bright and tuning them is hell.

    Sorry to hear that you are sick and that you have to take such insolence from me :tongue: . That was a good explanation I can relate to. I don't really put the same value in mods like you do but I respect that not all people have the same opinion. To me they are just temporary enjoyment that will be replaced or deleted in the future. Especially when Skyrim is released.

     

     

    How to make a black retexture? In this case it's really easy but you need Photoshop with DDS plugin. Open the textures one by one, go to Image > Adjustment > Hue/Saturation and select red. Then pull the Lightness slider all the way to the left. Save as DXT1.

     

    I can agree with Ziitch actually. I find myself spending more time on dressing up than playing the game, especially with a new character and if I have a lot of new outfits I haven't tried. Later though, I pick my favourites and concentrate a bit more on questing and progressing. It's a big plus if the race and class has a good background that makes it believable in Tamriel. There are so many good looking races where they just throw together a description as an excuse for it's existance and some random stats that are not really balanced. Sometimes I edit my race to make it fit somehow but it's hard to make a background that feels good when you have to do it yourself. Maybe this was not the right place to talk about this but it's an interesting subject.

    The black retexture of Lady Elegance it was a gift for me. And I won't share it.

     

    This type of comment is actually quite stupid. What if someone approaches you on the street and asks if you can spare some change and you reply "Sure, I have a lot of change but I won't give it to you" :laugh: It's better to say that you don't have any.

     

    Just because of this I will make a black retexture of that dress and maybe upload it(if I get permission). Then your little texture can rot somewhere on your harddrive. Of course you don't have to share but it doesn't hurt unless it's ripped content.

    As a matter of fact, it is ripped content. It's an outfit called Sugar, from Poser. Edit: Also, your post was a tad hypocritical.

     

    I just overreacted a bit and I hope Kj doesn't take it personal but it sounds rude when you say "I won't share" without giving a proper explanation or at least that was my first impression. When I read it now I don't think it's so bad anymore even if I would have said it differently if I was him. I guess I care too much about others...lol.

     

    By the way, I think there are some ripped content here already on tesnexus, like Frostmourne?

    If you can't wear boots with a robe it's because shoes/boots are already included in the model and it would look weird to add an extra pair of boots. I can't imagine that you would have to go barefoot just because you're wearing a robe. However, you can edit any robe in CS to allow gloves and boots. Just open it and deselect the body part you want to liberate.

    Well, in that case I suppose it would be smart not to allow it here but the game it came from would not be harmed by it. You don't play a game because of it's clothes imo but rules are rules...

    I'm looking for SPB Suicup dress but the download was removed due to copyright reasons. Personally I think that's ridiculous because I've seen many mods that use stuff from other games/modders. People really need to be more live and let live on this site. What kind of copyright laws did it violate if anyone knows and where can I download this dress? I already have the Empress' dress so I only need the textures.

    Open up the mod in the CS and find the ID for the satiated ability spell. When you have the ID, open the console in-game and type:

     

    player.removespell xxxxxxxxxx

     

    where xxxxxxxxx is the ID of the ability spell. Then save your game.

     

    I could do that but as you know with modded abilities it's pretty hard to find the two first digits when you have 200+ mods.

    How do you choose where to place the UI elements? I installed with OBMM but there was no option to choose the positions. I use the regular Darn UI but I doubt that would make a difference. Do I have to meddle with the ini file?

    I want to get rid of Survival Suite HTS because the eating part doesn't have any effect for me. The problem is that when I remove it, it leaves the the satiated ability on my character and I can't continue playing with that. Does anyone know what to do to clean it from my save game? I was hoping I won't have to go back to an old save. I don't count on any reply though, since it seems people don't use that mod anymore and the author doesn't reply but you have to try.

    Aw it doesn't look so bad, it looks like a very unique and interesting model and I'd like to re-texture it or something to make it awesome :)

     

    I wish you good luck with that. Maybe you can turn fail into awesome but from what I heard about it so far it sounds like an impossible task. :smile:

    Excuse me but why would you want a sword like that? You can clearly see how awful it looks with that poor quality. It looks like a five year old put it together in Blender with models from differen games. The armor also doesn't belong in Oblivion. If you want that I recommend that you play Fallout instead.

    I think Lehcar overreacted a bit but you should still be careful about setting standards for what is common knowledge or not when it comes to a game like Halo. It has been very quiet about that game for a long time now, at least as far as I know. I also want to defend Chakaru because she has a right to have her opinion and she wasn't really attacking you. She only pointed out where you were a bit harsh in your comments and no one really asked for detailed info about Halo. In my experience people here are very sensitive for some reason. In fact, I would also retaliate if I felt someone was insulting my intellect.

    I'm looking for a mod similar to Survival Suite that is compatible with Better Cities. In it's current state you can't refill your waterskins and that is one of the features I like about that mod. Thirst and hunger is a requirement but sleep is not so important. Is it a good idea to make a patch by merging the mods and add script to wells or by removing the BC wells?

    Now I will be rude and interrupt your verbal battles with something very mundane. I'm looking for a mod like survival suite that does the same thing but isn't outdated by 5 years. The ones I find have very few endorsements and I keep thinking there most be a hotter mod out there because people like immersion, right?

    Better Cities + Survival Suite

    It has come to my attention that if you use both these mods you can't fill waterskins at the wells because Better Cities overrides the wells from Survival Suite. If I load SS after BB the market district will be messed up so that's not an option. What's the best way to make a patch for this? Can I merge these two mods and add the script to the new wells? I've heard merging is bad so I won't do it if I don't have to.
