  1. Light of Dawn is located in the second level of Nornalhorst. By default, it's on a bloodstained altar (the one with the candle on it) in the same room as Lord Volmyr, but it's possible for it to get flung about the room during the battle. Use a torch or light spell for illumination and search very carefully.

  2. Those effects are caused by animations attached to meshes. The textures themselves are not animated, but are given the illusion of animation by the meshes that utilize them. The meshes use a variety of nodes to achieve these effects; what type of node utilized depends on the desired effect. I'm not well versed in those aspects of meshes, so I can't explain how to create these effects. Sorry.

  3. From the CS Wiki:

When creating a new birthsign, sometimes a birthsign will not show up in game, or will not be selectable in the birthsign selection screen in game. The workaround for this is to create several copies of the birthsign and then enter the game to see which one shows up.

For example you might create 3 (3 seems to be the usual lucky number here) copies of the same class each called:
    EditorID / Name
    TWSag1 / Sagittarius1
    TWSag2 / Sagittarius2
    TWSag3 / Sagittarius3

Then when the game displays a birthsign, ie Saggittarius3, go back into the editor and delete TWSag1 and TWSag2, then rename TWSag3 to Saggittarius. This may require several tries or more than three copies.

  4. Granted, but now your university is thought of as "lazy", their funding is cut drastically, they're given equipment that is so outdated it should be in a museum, the professors don't know anything about the subjects they're supposed to teach, the students learn nothing, and graduates are considered a joke by the professional world and never allowed to work in their desired fields. But at least you're well-rested.

I wish mother nature would stop going through menopause.

  5. Granted, but the freeway is only usable for one day each year, you have to reserve time on it at least a year in advance, and all slots are currently reserved for the next 42 years.

I wish I could bend time & space so I could travel instantly to any destination I chose.

  6. Granted, they become hornets. The newly transformed hornets are enraged by their transformation and target you for revenge. You are immune to the damage caused by their sting, but still feel the full force of the pain.

I wish I hadn't clicked the "spoilers" tab in billyro's signature. I followed it all the way to the end (it took a while).

  7. Do I need to put the textures/mesh file from the unpack from the extracted folder into the textures/mesh folders in the oblivion/data?

Yes. Vanilla (non-mod) items are kept in BSA archives, but mod added items need to be added manually for the game to be able to render them. The issues you describe are due to the game being unable to render the items because they aren't in the correct folder location.

  8. Granted, but the US develops its own Metric system that in no way resembles the existing one and thus creates insane levels of measuring confusion.

I wish loud sound systems for automobiles had never been invented.

  9. Granted, it flies away, leaving you noseless. Now people mistake you for Lord Vold - uhh, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and run, screaming in terror, whenever they see you.

I wish aircraft would stop crashing into my house.

  10. (I'm uh, a bit of a perfectionist).

I can tell. The amount of detail you put into this is great! I really enjoyed checking out all the Ayleid tablets and their translations, especially the mention of what Hadhuul was doing so far from Ceyatatar.

But as you said, that's a minor issue.

Indeed it is. And it could be explained away as a side effect of decaying Ayleid magic. Since they used magic so extensively, it's likely some spells remain active, but with unintended side effects caused by their decay.

And thank you for giving me so much detail on the sarcophagus, you made it trivial to find and fix.

You're welcome. :D I figure the easier I can make an issue to find, the easier it is for it to be fixed.

  11. Thanks Vyper, glad to hear you enjoyed it.

You're welcome. I always enjoy a good dungeon crawl. :D

    Encounter any issues?

The only "issue" I encountered was a floating instance of ARSarcophagus01 in the first level. It's within one of the four instances of ESSubSpace1800x3200x300. The exact cell coordinates of the mesh in question are:

    X: 9088

    Y: 1792

    Z: 5744

I manually changed the Z coordinate to 5735.5850 to match the others in the room.

As "issues" go, it's a very minor one. The developers themselves left many such issues in the game.
