  1. it might be the alternative start mod. i had to disable it to get never die to work right on my computer.
  2. have you modified the INI to use more memory? it might help with the larger texture packs. the default amount of memory oblivion has to process things is 25 mb if memory serves. i changed mine to use 250 and got an pretty serious performance boost on my laptop. i average 30 -37 FPS most of the time in or out of combat. i believe the INI line is "iPreloadSizeLimit=26214400" simply add another zero on the end and save it.
  3. simple move that particular esp to your desktop temporarily while you run the LODGEN. then put it back. it has no distance data and is not needed for the lodgen to run properly. i have the same problem with Laviathen soulgems esp.
  4. Servent of the Dawn has voice over most of it as does Dremora Companion, Gates To Aesgaard Episode 1 and Episode 2.

  6. okay cool. i'm going to add a few more details like cobwebs and stuff then i will put it up for download. i will add some cobl stuff in an alternate esp file for the people who have it. i should have it up in a few hours. i'm currently bashing my head into the wall trying to get TES4Gecko to work right so i can clean the mod.

  10. no i use midas magic to light it up for the screen shot since those places have no light and i did not use anything from shivering isles (yet) i have used only vanilla objects. and all mods require the oblivion.esm to work. :confused: oh, and Gates to Aesgaard Homepage
  11. no that runed door leads to the distance. and i will replace the lights with lightless models. i will also remove all light sorces from the mod and and add respawning barrel o' torches just inside the entrance. clutter is still sparse aside from static ambience stuff. there won't be to many things to pick up here to give that packed up and ran like hell feeling from the previous occupant tha cage looking thing is the portcullis that leads to the entrance tunnel. i will show some map pictures so you get an idea of the layout. it really is very close to your little doodle. i tried to stay as close to that as possible. i just recently played thru Gates to Aesgard(i think thats how you spell it?) which is a horror themed mod inspired by the hellraiser movies. i took some creepy-ness inspiration from that.
  12. out of curiosity if i set the enable state to opposit of parent will the portcullis start opened? i want it to be open initailly then closed from the inside with no way to open it from the outside.

  16. for some reason i cant get a lever to open a portcullis (the bars in fort ruins opened by nearby levers or pressure plates) and was wondering if there is a tutorial on it somewhere or if somebody can walk me tru the steps 1 by 1 so i can see what i did wrong. i just want a default lever to open a default portcullis. thats it. :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: the worst part is the CS wiki doesn't seem to have ANYTHING on parenting.
  17. retextureing existing creatures is easy i can help supply u with those but new models are tough to get ahold of. a lava version of a scalon would be cool i can do that too and make it on fire like a flame atronach. and there is a Ridable Canfear Mod. adding a few differnt colors and speed shouldn't be hard at all. and adding larger atronachs is easy too.

  19. ok cool. i'm actually almost done with it now, i'm just adding clutter and decoration and getting the lighting right. i should have it done tonight or tomorrow around noon california time. i wil upload a few screens later tonight. oh and are you planning on installing shivering isles? cuz some of the object that come with it would be useful. for now tho i will leave it to only vanilla stuff.
  20. Cobl Download Page it adds a lot of cool stiff to the game and is considered a very large modders resource. using content from it is is pretty simple too. you should bookmark it for future use since a lot of mods require it now for the menus/options features it has.
  21. Yeah i can see how you want everything. this is going to be cool as hell! you want any Cobl stuff, alchemy sorter, luggage spot, etc? EDIT: oh yeah where in tamriel do you want the entance located? does it need pathgriding for companion use? do you want a bed or bedroll somewhere to sleep and level up?
  22. this doesn't look too hard at all. and uses only Vanilla objects. i really like the evil simplicity of it. i will start working on this tonight. give me a few days and i will have something to show you. any other details i should know?
  23. doen't Shivering isles have a few of those? i remember the lightning in a box as a Trophy from the inquisitor missions in understanding madness.
