Old topic, sorry for resurrecting but this is important. Other people may come here for answers. Had the same problem with Photoshop and Intel Texture Tools. Then i resorted to using GIMP with the dds plugin. GIMP: https://www.gimp.org/downloads/ DDS plugin: https://storage.googleapis.com/google-code-archive-downloads/v2/code.google.com/gimp-dds/gimp-dds-win64-3.0.1.zip Tutorial: -Export your DDS from FrostyEditor -Edit it in Photoshop. -Save as .psd file. -Open this in GIMP. -File -> Export as -> Select File Type (DDS) -> Compression: BC3 / DXT5 Now you can import this back in to FrostyEditor, it will show as proper TF_BC3_UNORM

Modding help: increse wildlife spawns

The answer must be in levels. You would design a level, put all the buildings, monsters etc in it. So spawn rate should be in there somewhere. I filtered on creatures and found some references. Navigate to game - levels - crit - crit_city Open 0902_largeroom_creatures largeroom could mean a large outdoor area perhaps? In the screen below there are a lot of spawn references, SpawnDelay, MaxCount, SpawnPriority. You could change some of these and see what happens. Good luck, modding MEA is hard! -

You need to change game - characters - ambient - templates - global - appearancepreset_global_crew_science_officer At [2] and [3], Item: press the dots then clear assigned object At the filter type: hmf_hair_c_emily You need the two SimpleAppearanceItemData hmf_hair_c_emily_simpleitem goes to [2] hmf_hair_c_emily_cloth_simpleitem goes to [3] Select the item, press arrow at [2] (Assign object from selected asset) And do this for the other one. See the screens: Result: She is beautiful. -

Been searching for 1 hour but couldnt find a satisfying answer. Forum rules only talks about porting from other games. Not within the same game. Modding vanilla meshes (Nif editing, re-using part of a mesh) and repacking it in a mod. Allowed yes/no?How about Creation Club content, can we edit those meshes? The files are sitting on our drives. Are they property of Beth or 3rd party modders?I'm asking because the Morgan Suit has a crooked arm: Horrible disfigurement. What happened!? Was it crushed by a machine and didnt heal properly? I wanna fix this. Or if the modder would come forward and fix it that would be better.

Here it is. Only for people who have bought it, you need the original .esl etc. http://www99.zippyshare.com/v/tk9jd4W8/file.html -Put the .esp in Data. -Activate it in NMM. -Start the game. The seperate suit and helmet are at Vault 111, under the little booth for the elevator button. The old suit will still be automatically dropped in your inventory, you can just sell it, drop it whatever. -

Done: Shown here with trench coat by TheMightyArchaon. I divide the stats between helmet and suit. Made a GO .nif (ground object) also. Unfortunately I had to repackage the whole thing so I cant share it. Gonna do some more tweaking. -

Sounds about right. it's becoming the norm. Just look at this on Steam. It's dlc, not mods.. but still: Train Simulator, 389 add-ons: Yeah.. that's right.. over $5000. That's where we are heading. A lot of great mods will disappear behind a paywall. Because of greed. Disgusting.- 21 replies

My first modding experience was with Half-Life and the level editor WorldCraft (1998). Those were the days. http://www.half-life.deltauk.net/JPG/WorldCraft/WC3.3_Preview/WC_Main.jpg They should release a mod kit/level editor with each game. Wished they had released one for the Mass Effect series. Fracking around with Texmod and ME3explorer was always a bit pain in the behind. We've come a long way. Just look a the amazing butt physics with the clip from Fkemman11. And now we got futuristic shizzle. Just walk around with some VR/AR glasses and put your city in the game. Maybe in a couple of years. -

It is easy peasy. You can first use .wav for testing and when its finished convert it to .xwm.

From a business pov I can understand. Making more money, increasing value for the shareholders. Just look at the revenue of other games in 2016: EA: $650 mil. from Ultimate Team DLC FIFA, Madden, NHL. GTA Online: $700 mil. in-game sales from shark cards. Activision/Blizzard: $3.6 billion in-game sales from Call of Duty Points, Overwatch Loot Boxes and other. it shows that people are willing to pay. Of course Beth wants a piece of the pie.
