  1. Hey I know this has been requested before, but this time I have some innovative ideas to add the Eldar to Fallout 3. The Guardian armor should be made first, but then the others should be worked on as well. The Guardian mesh armor should be made with both male and female variants, and they should include the shuriken catapult assault rifle as well. Here is a list of what needs to be done: (Version one) Eldar Guardian armor (Male/Female Versions) Shuriken Catapult (Assault Rifle) Shuriken Cannon Follower (NPC that follows you like a drone.) (Version two) Farseer Rune armor (Male/Female Versions) Singing Spear Witchblade Shuriken Pistol Ghosthelmet (Visor/Visorless) Eldar Warlock armor (Male/Female Versions) I know this may seem much to ask, but the Eldar have been absent from the modding community and I think it is time someone starts making the Eldar in Fallout 3. Nuff' said. Opinions anyone?
  2. Hmm, for some reason It isn't working. I inserted the script in a new one and I did everything you told me to do.. Should the topic have player as speaker or will that mess things up?
  3. Hmm, interesting.. I want to make an armor make male voice taunts that I recorded so when the player is in combat the taunts will play so it sounds like my character is taunting the enemy.
  4. So anotherwords, I have to make a quest that uses the script as a function for the armor? Also, how do I create a conversation with sound files? I got the files I made and I put then into data/sound/voice/(Taunt1, Taunt2, Taunt3.. Etc) What if I just create my own script that plays the sound when ever a enemy starts attacking me? Can I make such a script within the GECK that directly uses sound files I made? I know how to apply scripts to the armor, it is just a matter of knowing how to code it. I guess I need to learn the language that they set up. Of course, I do not know what type of scripting language it is so if you could tell me what type of script it is that would be helpful indeed.

  6. Very interesting, I do have my own recordings I was planning on using. I simply named each sound file "Taunt1, 2, 3, 4, 5... Etc". I was planning on using vault suit or something just to see if it works. If I delete every "ms14" target name can I replace that with the sound file names and actually alter the armor's voice with that of which i made? This might mean I have to replace gutsy's voice though, which is not my intent. If I could use this very code, but edit it out to include voice taunts that I made, could I simply do so by specifying them in the parameters where the "files" are mentioned? I would like to copy and paste this script then replace the necessary parameters with those of which match my sound files.
  7. Hey, after viewing the script for the prototype medic armor, I cannot decipher the code because I am not a coder. I was hoping someone could help me as to how to make my own armor create sound similar to the prototype medic suit, etc. Any help would be much appreciated!

  9. Hey, I have been noticing when I am on the nexus download sites to get mods, there is some very annoying advertisements that usually have sound on. I know this is a pet peeve, but I am getting frustrating when I have my volume low and these advertisements blast stuff like "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'VE WON!!!!". Sound off would be preferred if there is a way for you guys to restrict the sound from playing.

  12. I guess my situation is dire indeed. I do have flame cone, but not forcefield. I am not sure Alistair is using taunt, and morrigan doesn't have any healing spells. (I focused her on primal magic) Unfortunatrely since I am deep in the caverns I cannot change my parties out for that dog with that useful stun. Perhaps I should load that game and run out of the situation and go back to the orzammar. If I leave the caverns for a while (To collect ingredients to make poltices) will the caves reset with a bunch of enemies about?
  13. Hey, I was hoping I could get help on these forums for something happening in a part of the game where I am left with little advantage over a npc. I tried to post on those EA bioware forums but I am not "qualified" to post, leaving me little options. I am at the part of the game where I am in the deep roads, ortega tanu (sp?) looking for that paragon. I think I might have reached the paragon, but the problem is there is a queen spider guarding the area, and I am in a bad situation. For one: I have no Health Poltices left.. No flasks and Elfroot to make them either. For two: I killed the queen spider once, with just Morrigan left but then 6 - 8 corrupted spiders spawned after the queen's death. For three: This game is incredibly challenging, which I like but this situation i am in is just overboard. (I am playing it on easy! Imagine that!) For four: I used up over 30 health poltices reaching the damn place only to have none left. (I thought I was well stocked on them..) For five: I have good weapons and keep my party members well armed. Here it is in detail: On the first try, my two warriors Alistair and that dwarven warrior went charging after the queen spider, got caught in the web and sapped by the corrupted spiders. By the time they killed those spiders the queen spit venom at them and finished them off just leaving my Elf Rogue, and Morrigan. My Rogue went up melee and stunned then backstabbed, got the queen halfway down, morrigan used her powerful frost spell and life drain. The queen killed my rogue and Morrigan after a few poison spits. On the second try, I had my whole team halt while I tried to pull the queen into my trap, the queen jinxed me and just used her poison spitting the whole damn time. The corrupted spiders killed the dwarven warrior and badly injured Alistair. Alistair eventually kicked the bucket and the queen only had half health left. My rogue died with the bow in mind using ice arrows, morrigan was left once again, using ice spells and drain life kept her alive killing the queen, then 6 to 8 of those corrupted spiders spawned and killed morrigan.. Just when things look up those damn creatures have to overwhelm my wounded and almost dead party of four! This is really difficult and any advice anyone has to offer is more that welcome here.. If I can't figure something out, or you guys can't really help me then I guess I have to load a save game dumping 2 hours of effort down the drain. Thanks. (NO CHEATING ADVICE PLEASE!) But if you know of any useful exploits in the game that will be ok.
  14. Science Fiction based off of X-COM Apocalypse (1997) by Microprose. Earth 2084, the world is entering a dystopian state of living as human kind is threatened by alien forces that have re-appeared for a full-fledged invasion. Due to the hostile conditions of the Alien activities, humans formed hive cities with walls and regional security forces to protect them from alien attacks, the largest and most active hive city of them all is Mega Primus. Mega Primus is home to some of the most intelligent, and higher class of people who formed large corporations and organizations to make live more comfortable inside Mega Primus. One of the most important and well-known of all the Organizations is X-COM. X-COM or Extraterrestrial Combat Force is a Corporate Organization that deals with alien anomalies with, or without violence. X-COM is privately controlled, however the government funds it on a factor of competence. X-COM was founded secretly in 1998 to defend earth from alien invasion, but due to loss of alien activities they remained unactive and was shut down until 2040, when alien creatures were discovered in the depths of the ocean. After the Second Alien invasion, X-COM was once again close to beng disbanded had it not been purchased and run by F. Denman Williams. X-COM has now been enlisted to investigate the recent Alien incursions according to the corporate charter's reactivation clause. The city's senators have agreed to fund a covert initiative, with the assistance of local Megapol stations, who will pass on reports of possible Alien activity directly to the X-COM base commander. X-COM has four branches of employees: Agents, Biochemists, Quantum Physicists, and Engineers. The Agents are responsible for carrying out combat missions on alien threats, armed with expensive equipment and weaponry to ensure the aliens are deterred. The Biochemists are responsible for doing research on alien anatomies and organic matter related with alien life. The Quantum Physicists are responsible of researching alien technology that has to do with inter-dimensional travel and technology, the Quantum Physicists have been credited for developing new technologies such as the protective Disruptor Armor. Finally, the engineers are responsible for building technology apparatus that has been researched by the other scientists, such as Bio-containment units to transport alien bodies alive or dead, as well as the disruptor armor. Disruptor Armor is a heavily protective gear worn by X-COM agents later in the game. It takes weeks of research to come up with this armor which; is then, very expensive and time consuming to manufacture. However, the end result for this armor is superior defense and ultra lightweight. This Disruptor armor is a hybrid of human/alien technology making it advanced. The main specialty of this armor is high resistance towards energy weapons and explosives. The fiberous mesh has reactive properties that resist stress such as high temperatures or shrapnel. This armor also protects the user from harmful biochemicals and completely quarantines the user from exterior atmosphere. This armor IS NOT Power armor! That being written: My request is simple. Can someone please make this amazing armor from X-COM Apocalypse? You don't have to make a esp, just get the textures and meshes working and I can do the rest!   15. Hey, I was wondering if anyone here would be generous enough to make a Tomb Raider Wear & Gear mod that introduces the following: The full wear that is used in Tomb Raider underworld. The Guns. The Grappling hook. Along with the Speargun. (The Speargun could have a damage bonus vs Mirelurks and penetrate mirelurk shell better.) That is all.. Thanks for reading.
  16. Space Hulk would not replace the wasteland in any way. But I have an idea. Why not combine Space Hulk with a 40k wasteland so that everywhere you go is the 40k universe?
  17. With the release of the Space Marine terminator armors in that 40k mod I believe it is time someone made a Space Hulk mod. In case no one is familiar with Space Hulk, it is a giant vessel in the Warhammer 40k universe crawling with Tyranid scum. Space Hulk would have to include a new space ship enviroment with tight corridors and little room to navigate and would include Terminators equipped with a variety of weaponry to repel the tyranid incursion. Story wise, you could make a Terminator NPC that is near megaton who needs a recruit to go into the Space Hulk and assist fellow Terminators in exterminating the Tyranid population with heavy weaponry and heavy armor. The quest can involve a long and challenging game of survival and assaulting tyranid hives within the Space Hulk, and you could be armed with a variety of terminator weapons like the Assault Cannon, Storm Bolter, Power Fist, Power Claws, Storm Hammer, and Heavy flamer. The visual preference of Space Hulk is all about Dark tight corridors and hangar bays, etc in a giant space ship. You could be equipped with terminator armor from the recruiter and given a storm bolter as a first weapon. As you get deeper into the game you can pick up better stronger weapons and get upgrades for your armor that allows you to handle tougher swarms of Tyranids. My idea for Space Hulk would involve a HUGE quest that is 10+ hours so it doesn't end quick. I could imagine there are plenty of people on this nexus site that knows what Space Hulk is.

Hey, I have recently been trying to add sound to melee weapons through recordings i made through dawn of war to try to replicate the melee noises made in that game on some of the 40k weapons and was wondering: is there a way to make a soun d play when the weapon hits something? For example: Ground, Raider, Lucas Simms?
  19. I personally have been waiting for someone to release a mod the has Modern US soldier BDU's with the Boron-Carbonite Armor and helmet. While I can see some people don't like Modern technology mixed in with Fallout 3 it should be the freedom of modders to make whatever they want for Fallout 3. I requested a Modernization of Fallout 3 a month ago not because I hate Fallout 3 50's charm, but because I wanted something different. That being said there are many Fallout Nexus members who would like to see some Modern infantry uniforms and armor as much as I would like to see them and in my understanding if you don't like the mod: Don't download it..
  20. Hey, out of all the warhammer40k mods there is one has yet to be for the Eldar. I was hoping someone would make a shuriken catapult which is a standard issue rifle given to the Eldar Guardians.
  21. Thanks for the support, I am really suprised none of the talented modders have made this kind of mod yet, this world is really going upside down.. The car would need some interior work cause I viewed the model in GECK it has a interior but no dashboard or speedometers, just a pole with a steering wheel with chairs, quite minimalistic you see.

  23. That can be done easy as far as texturing goes. For me personally I would love a shiny car like that, but you are right it would be out of style for sure. The car could start out as a piece of junk but later in the game you could find pre-war auto paints that can be put onto the car by simply shoving the paints in the trunk of the car, etc. Update: I have extracted the car model along with all the textures from the BSA extracter, and attached the appropriate textures in nifskope.   24. Hey, some of you might be aware that someone came out with a car mod a while back. It was nothing more than a tech demo featuring a medical chair and a Sentry bot. Well today nothing has happened to it and there is no one that I can see that is working on implementing cars in Fallout 3. So I will ask: Can someone come out with a Fallout 3 Car mod? I know there are motorcycle mods but I would rather drive a car. For starters, modelling shouldn't be much of a problem because you can use the car model from tranqulity lane. The idea for this mod is simple: Make a car that is drivable and has trunk storage to carry some of your burden, I think this would prove a successfull mod if released on Fallout nexus and I would certainly commend the one to do this as a mod project. You could start by using that 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air style car from tranquility lane if you like, or you could make your own custom model it's entirely up to you, I just want a 50's style drivable car with storage to make my adventures in the capital wasteland a lot more fun and exciting. I know it may make the fallout would seem much smaller, but it doesn't have to go 50 miles an hour you know what I mean? So I was hoping someone could do this that would be great indeed, if you are interested reply with all steed. By the way, here is a picture of that car in the GECK. It is named a "Clean car" with a editor ID of "Car03" http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/638/geckimgcar03.jpg CORRECTION: The car DOES have a Interior, after viewing the model in nifskope. This eliminates all of that modelling needed.
  25. I agree, it is silly how you move diagnol (Backwards Left Strafe for example) and your character animates as if he/she was moving backwards.
