Which mod adds "Birna's Missing Shipment" Quest?
SirCadsimar replied to Hluill's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Hmmmmmm do you have the Missives mod, Hluill? If so this quest might be from that. It sounds like the type of thing that would be... -
Unfortunate, but yeah I saw this coming though. He was too "loud" and political and doomerish.

Mod Idea - Sea Monsters
SirCadsimar replied to PsychoDraugrResurrected's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Saaaaaame. And having some big scary dangerous creatures in the (deep) waters... YES PLEASE BOSS IMMERSE ME IN MY FEARS Uhhh I mean in-game only of course! Honestly I hope I never go into an ocean or even a sea (IRL obviously). I've swam in one of the Great Lakes once, that was enough for me -
Yeah it's fine to have it on C drive, just not in the Program Files, if one is going to use mods. It's perfectly okay to have the game in PF if one is just playing without mods though, AFAIK. Someone correct me if wrong, if need be.

It may be an unpopular opinion but...
SirCadsimar replied to blandpanda's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Okay yes this is definitely true in my case. My previous negative opinion about Vortex is changing, though I still won't use it yet. -
The Update button isn't there on the game's page in your Steam Library section..? Oh, and yes, SKSE version 2.2.5 is not compatible with game version 1.6.640. I'm pretty sure both versions 2.2.4 and 2.2.5 were meant for the game version(s) that came came out early December. EDIT: just confirmed it, SKSE 2.2.4 was for game version 1.6.1130.

Which mod adds "Birna's Missing Shipment" Quest?
SirCadsimar replied to Hluill's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
It's pretty much (almost) been established that the Original Poster is having difficulty with a quest from an as of yet unknown mod (and a couple of mods that mess up AI pathing of the relevant NPC), not with the vanilla sidequest Yngol's Barrow. -
There's no way it was that simple, are you pulling someone's leg? /sarcasm

As someone who is like practically addicted to the Control + F search function, the new Comments search function on mod pages' Posts comments sections is great, thank you. Did I say this in some form already? I feel like I did, maybe it was a weird dream or something...

You just let it update and embrace the "suck". I'm just kidding. Or am I..?

Which mod adds "Birna's Missing Shipment" Quest?
SirCadsimar replied to Hluill's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
"Birna's Missing Shipment" must be a quest from a new mod, for there to be literally nothing, not a single damned thing besides a link to this thread, about it through Google or Bing searches. How bloody frustrating... I wish something like More Informative Console could be used to identify where a quest came from... I mean like a quest in the Journal, I know you can use it to identify where an item, NPC, etcetera, comes from (but what does one do about an undroppable quest item they have no idea about? Besides doing the quest if possible, of course, duh) -

The mod Where Are You - Lookup And Track Followers and other NPCs can help you locate, teleport, or yourself visit (teleports you to them) almost any NPC unless they have been heavily edited by other mods (for example in my game Illia is edited by several mods and I can't use this mod's functions on her). The mod is a light plugin so it doesn't take up a regular mod slot, and is okay to install to an ongoing playthrough (tested that myself) -
Some user is trying to advertise a drug for erectile dysfunction... in the Site Support forums, of all places. I already reported it.

You think the prejudice against Dunmer is bad?
SirCadsimar replied to BlazeStryker's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
The Khajiit Caravans are lucky the guards of Skyrim even let them set up camp and sell wares right outside of the cities at all. Because every single one of these Caravan groups really are skooma dealers, my comrades and I confirmed this ourselves by disguising as shady hooded characters travelling the land pretending to be curious about skooma (former Lieutenant [NAME REDACTED] who thought he would be more convincing to a stubborn Khajiit merchant by becoming a skooma user himself has been dealt with). This is not racism it's just an unfortunate fact, all of the Khajiit Caravan merchants have skooma to sell, and they and their entourages are almost all skooma addicts to some degree. I hold no hatred for the Khajiit peoples, but this skooma is a dangerous and addictive substance and has no reliable medical properties even in smaller dosages. It's such a strange madness-inducing poison that I am surprised the Mad Daedra Lord (whom many Khajiit revere) didn't take credit for it's creation or introduction. In fact I wish they would stop this so they could become a respectable race of peoples in the eyes of the others, instead of the shady dealers and soul-damaged insane addicts that many see them as. Until that illegal contraband dealing practise is ended, outside the cities they will remain. Signed ~ Sir Cadsimar, Marshall of all Guard Forces in the newly reunified Skyrim, 4th Era Year 20- [(exact date on the letter got shot out with an arrow, some careless courier too curious for his own good was sitting and reading the letter on his knee near a bandit camp that has since been dealt with, luckily he retrieved the letter by pulling it through the arrow's shaft before it got too bloody from his wound)] -
Aye, the glitchiest and most unstable of the Creation Club homes. It's no wonder to me why it has the least amount of mods editing it...

Cool idea, but it would take a lot of work. And there would possibly be a lot of glitches/other problems because of the multiple tiers of upgrades. But I don't really think there's a lot of players out there that actually like how their gear looks exactly the freaking same after it's been tempered (upgraded). In fact I'd wager a majority don't. So, of course people like this idea!

Another con: it would take over a week to get from Riverwood to Whiterun, like it claimed to in one of the first TES games. On horseback. Lol ridiculous.

This is a cool idea.
