Crash logs that may be related to NPCs?
SirCadsimar replied to PogIsDog1's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Well now, Master Occlusion's .esp or .esm file was mentioned 354 times (holy mackerel). I think there's a clue, though it's mentioned with a bunch of other things so there some big conflicts going on. I got rid of Nature of the Wild Lands a few months ago myself (almost 9 months actually), it was too problematic. -
Things look different than they did 11 hours ago and I'm confused, what's going on..?

This needs to be ported to SE/AE
SirCadsimar replied to GreybeardRanger's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
That mod author hasn't been on the site since October 10th, 2013. Hasn't been to this site since before SE even came out. No known way to contact them, for people that are capable and willing to port that mod. But yes, a mod just like this definitely should be made for SE/AE. -
MO2 load in after a save and CTD issue

You might need to re-install VCRuntime140.dll and tbbmalloc.dll I had to reinstall tbbmalloc about a month or two or so ago myself -
Is there a way to view .esp names via Xbox?
SirCadsimar replied to ThomicStridon79's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
It's been 3.5 years or more since I've played with mods on Xbox, but I remember the only way to see the plugin name (file name, most with ".esp" at the end) of mods was to first have save files with the mod active, then deactivate the mod, press to load a save where that mod was fomerly active in, then the pop-up warning prompt asking you if you're sure you want to load the save with that(/those) mod(s) inactive, it would show the file/plugin name of the mod there and not the mod's usual title. But there was no way to make anything show a list of all the plugin/file names of all the active mods that one is using. I think also if a mod the user had was removed from BethesdaNet for whatever reason (by the mod uploader or Bethesda moderators), it would not show up as the mod's title in the user's load order anymore, it would show up as the plugin file name (and not all mods on console are .esp files as far as I remember, but all do still take a mod slot even the smallest of patch mods no matter the plugin type...150 mod slot limit can not be bypassed through legitimate means). Quite a bit has changed especially with the changes from Creation Club and Mods menus merged into the singular "Creations" menu, I stopped using mods on Xbox in 2020 or 2021 because my Xbox broke at the time (my friend fixed it for me a few months ago, but I only play Skyrim on PC now), so I'm not really sure what's what in it anymore, what has stayed the same or not. -

Some time between your previous comment and that one, I remembered something about a mod with aspects similar to what you mentioned, I think I remember even seeing a video on Youtube about it. But, alas, I still can't remember what it's called, either... It's not the Pride of Teia, is it..? Tasheni's The Pride of Teia V_1 -

Oh! I think I found it for you! It has a different title, that's why you couldn't find it! This is by the same author as the "Bijin Moll Haircut" LE version, this is the SE version: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/96237 There is options like No war paint in the Optional Files section below the Main Files and Update Files EDIT: Wait a second, it's not the exact same mod, there already was an LE version of that, but "My War Maiden Mjoll the Lioness No esp" is not the same mod as "Bijin Moll Haircut"... my bad -

If it did actually exist for SE, it might have got deleted for whatever reason... I'm still using a replacer for Zora from the 3dNPCs (Interesting NPCs) mod, but the replacer mod page got deleted some months ago, I have no idea if it got packaged into a larger mod or something like that that does more because I don't even remember who the mod was by in the first place... (I figure out who the MA was, they have a newer Zora makeover mod but I cannot use it it has requirements that I don't/can't use) Zora's Makeover - Interesting NPCs (3dNPCs) , it somehow still has a link to the page on Google even though the page is completely gone... -

If you're using a mod organizing program like Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex, there should be an option to Visit on Nexus when you right click on the mod (in the user's mod list section, not their downloads section nor the plugins section). I know this option exists on MO2, not sure about Vortex but it most likely has that as well. That mod definitely exists for LE. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/108337 -
Click "no" to not go into Creations menu library (if you downloaded mod from NexusMods here, you shouldn't really go into that much anyway, much less use free mods from both Nexus and Creations), click "yes" to continue loading, when game save loads, make a brand new save. Quit to menu, delete all other saves except for that newest one. Load that save, no more warning prompt!

If one has mods that edit anything about any CC stuff, or is planning to use said mods, then that one should absolutely not clean the CC files in xEdit. LOOT was made before Creation Club was made, so what LOOT says about CC content is obsolete information. The "dirty" lines of code are necessary, most of them are probably edits to exterior worldspace areas, in some cases interiors. Cleaning the files might have unintended consequences, quite likely actually. I remember having to reinstall the game and verify integrity of game files through Steam when I auto-cleaned all the CC content one time a couple of years ago, game got so broken and many CC contents weren't being detected.

Odd how it hasn't been made for Skyrim already, there's a bunch of other Witcher 3 sword mods for Skyrim. Almost seems like there's a vendetta against that specific one for whatever reason, even though many of the others would have been much more complicated and taken more time to computer-animate (because there's actually some legal issues about directly porting asserts from one game into another game, people have gotten in trouble for that before, check here for details about the rules on that:

It links to a sketchy site hosted in Asia, and worse the link for that mod's download on that page is literally "unsafelink" dot com. Yikes. I got warned with this: [Moving to an external site may cause damage such as IP exposure, virus, fraud, and personal information leakage.] Gridinsoft.com, with Website Reputation Checker, tells me that ["Unsafelink.com is a scam website that tries to trick people into giving away personal information or money. It does this by promoting fake products, services, or investment opportunities, and by using false claims and testimonials to seem trustworthy. The site's layout may look like a genuine platform, but it’s designed to fool visitors. If you come across Unsafelink.com, be very cautious. Do not share any personal or financial details, as the site’s main purpose is to scam and exploit those who interact with its misleading content."] Way too much yikes, be careful lordshadow2000.

There was some patches for Community Shaders to do that, but those patches are apparently obsolete with the newest version of Community Shaders, as far as I am aware... -
Weylin - can't stop him from killing Margret any more
SirCadsimar replied to Shabdez's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
I recently got a mod that like slowed Weylin down or something, giving the player some time to kill him with regular combat. I forget what it was, but it was like an extra feature of the mod not the primary function, so it wasn't in the mod's title or anything, if I remember/figure out what it was I'll mention it here. I say "recent", but I probably got that mod months ago, or the feature of slowing Weylin down was just added into the mod around that time, I can't remember exactly.. -

Not enough information to go on. Nothing like that comes up in Google search if I type in "Skyrim mod with over one hundred islands", just mods with way less than 100 mentioned islands. -
He's talking about this: Oblivion Winter Armor (CBBE) it's only available for Xbox.
-
Mods like that would take a lot of work, and Bethesda's game engine does have limits.
-
I think you need: SSE Engine Fixes (skse64 plugin), it doesn't look like you have it.

Nemesis Armor Set by Magus80 Or, there's Reforged armor set from the Divine Crusader micro-DLC from the Creation Club is what I sometimes eventually have him wear when I get that armor set in the game, I usually have him wear Ebony Armor or some sort of chainmail armor from some mod, or the Mithril armor or Kvatch Champion Cuirass from the Beyond Skyrim: Bruma mod, usually with some sort of enchanted mage hood. -
I am now on game version 1.6.1170 and I still I use both of those mods, have for over 2 years now maybe almost 3. Coming from console to PC in spring of 2022, one of the few gripes I had was the wonkiness of the dialogue and messagebox controls, really annoying almost unplayable. Thankfully someone made these mods. They are not ESP or ESM file types, so they don't take up important mod slots of the 255 regular plugin type limit, if they each take up a slot of the 4096 light plugin limit, I really don't care lol.

I'm not entirely sure if it's legit or not, but PS 4 and 5 are now getting some mods that use external assets, including Sofia the Funny Fully Voiced Follower, it was released for PS4 and 5 late January and is still up. What is going on? Is this legit, is this actually happening? Or is it just certain modders finding loopholes again, and these mods will all be removed soon (again)..?
