I laughed for 30 seconds after seeing this:

I ban @Drakefell01 because he's not allowed to be that paranoid. No one's prying into your personal life bro, chill out. No one here, anyway...

Maybe Someone Here Might Know If It's Safe...
SirCadsimar replied to DirebearCoat's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
It's been up since the second half of March, is only 1 kb in filesize, and hasn't been scanned yet..? Someone should get on that already, jeez. It's been downloaded by over 1,500 users, there's been no posted complaints about bad files, so it's very likely safe, just not verified as such yet. -
LOL, it's not that at all. Abandoned Grotto is added by a mod, Carved Brink. They meant they are literally falling through the ground. Bad/incomplete navmeshing or something in that part of the mod.

Hmmm, not liking this one bit, 3 banned users online at the same time. Paranoid instinct says they're up to something, plotting something nefarious... Let's hope not...

Skyrim SE - Mod Detectives Thread
SirCadsimar replied to DoctorKaizeld's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Yeah the ones with no name despawn and disappear eventually after being rescued, because they do respawn later just like the bandits added by the mod do. The mod author is apparently trying to work something different about that (unless I read or interpreted something incorrectly), but it's not known if that will be eventually updated to the Nexus version of the mod, or only the Patreon hosted version, or both. This mod page has a guide that has a lot more information, and will definitely help you: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/88305 -
Skyrim SE - Mod Detectives Thread
SirCadsimar replied to DoctorKaizeld's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
That is Buxom Wench Yuriana -Tank Healer Support Follower- and Captured Wenches Quests They each give you a little reward when you free them, sometimes potions or other item(s). I am not sure yet where they go after they are freed, I think the ones with no names just vanish (despawn completely), or end up in one of the secret brothels that the mod adds, I'm still not sure yet. Hopefully you can find those answers on the mod's page. That's about all I know for now. If I learn more, I'll edit this post with that new information, or send you private message if you're okay with that (we shouldn't be discussing these type of mods too much here, some admins/moderators won't like that). -
Starting to have some idea, I am. I was up for most of that night when myself, mod author NiteFromWindhelm, and a few others were witness to those 4 known accounts I mentioned spamming for several hours.

Okay good to know, thanks!

deksiani gopal25olsea yujuk (probably alt account of deksiani) Jornob All accounts that upload/post spam and malicious files. Are they banned? I don't see them mentioned in the Formal Warnings, Bans, and Takedowns...
-
There's a brand new account, possibly a multiple account maker, definitely a suspicious links spammer, User Name: deksiani. Reported. They used the Articles section of their uploaded "mod"'s page to post 67 (holy crap now 130 as I am typing this) articles of suspicious possibly malicious links to supposed pornographic offsite content.

Hmmm, try reinstalling tbbmalloc.dll TrueHUD, MoreHUD, and True Directional Movement are very popular crash causers. The game updates late last year (and early 2024) broke those mods something awful, so many players had issues.
-
Pretty clear and justified why that user was banned. Reason(s): Inappropriate Avatar image: Joseph Goebbels Upload of Nazi related content (Hitler Speech). Upload of Pornographic video material. He's a fan and supporter of the wrong side of history, so into the banhammer's void he goes.

What game(s) was/were the biggest disappointment to you?
SirCadsimar replied to RedHeadAngel's topic in Off-Topic
All of the acronyms that RedHeadAngel used were in reference to Call of Duty (CoD) games. Modern Warfare (MW), World at War (WaW), Black Ops (BO) are all different games in the Call of Duty games franchise. -
Suggestion: Changelogs should be compulsory
SirCadsimar replied to Pantell1ca's topic in Site Support
Accurate changelogs are nice, but I say nay to them being enforced/required. How and why would it be enforced to older mods, mods who's publisher/author stopped modding for whatever reason(s)..? I have several mods by authors who are dead, many more by others who have quit. Accuracy or not of the information in their mods' changelogs, or lack thereof irrelevant. Their uploaded work should NOT be removed just because of lack of accurate changelogs. -
Decisions make themselves, so don't obsess.

Beyond Skyrim: Morrowind - The New North OST by Eric Gordon Berg

Bethesda updated Skyrim many times since the Vilja mod was last updated, nearly seven years ago. And the mod itself was ported from "Oldrim" just about a year before that. So, in the time between the Vilja mod first came out in late 2012 for 32-bit "Oldrim", the game went through many updates, many things were changed in the game's programming code especially from 32-bit "Oldrim" going to 64-bit Special Edition. So, unfortunately quite a few features and functions in the Vilja mod just don't work well anymore because they depended on old outdated gaming code, especially the wardrobe functions (except for telling her to not remove her apparel when swimming, thankfully that still works fine because the game stutters and may crash if you go into and out of water a bunch of times quickly when she's following you and you haven't told her to not remove her apparel when swimming).

It might be because of the lighting or shadows, but have to look closely at it to really notice, neck isn't the exact same color/shade as the chest. Probably easier to notice in the game, than in a compressed image.

I use EFF and SDA, and I wouldn't import Serana into EFF even if I wasn't using SDA. My playthroughs on PC haven't lasted long enough to complete the Dawnguard questline (always have issues with modded playthroughs and have to restart completely eventually, for various reasons like mod conflicts not detected by MO2, consistent CTDs in certain places or whatever), so I can't answer any questions about that (like importing her into EFF after that questline is completed, etcetera). Once or thrice back when I was still on Xbox1 years ago, I imported her into AFT/iAFT, and that was a mistake.
