    Where did my hard drive space go?

    Oblivion is indeed a hard-drive space swallower once you start modding it. If you use big mods like OOO, MMM, Francesco's, Armamentarium etc. or any collection of armor, weapon, clothing or landscape mods that involve new textures and meshes, or add a lot of additional music, it could easily take up 100 gb or more. My Oblivion folder currently consumes just over 20 gb, and I'm still adding to it with every download.

     

    I haven't been able to afford Fallout 3 with all its expansions yet, but I imagine it is very similar in structure and size and obviously it has tons of mods too.

    Well, I've finally uploaded a mod!

     

    My Ainmhi Companions mod (link in sig) is a re-release of some Salmacis1968 CM companions tweaked by me and a few of my own creations as well for a total of 25 Ainmhi companions. (Sorry, no Futanari.) They can be found throughout Cyrodiil and the Shivering Isles. I gave the females textures from NEC Sonnet character to make them look prettier. I've tested them and they seem to work well.

     

    I hope my mod is enjoyed by many, and I hope it lives up to expectations. I'm planning more CM companion mods from other custom races, and re-releasing some of his, but I seem to have so little time to work on them! Hopefully it won't take forever!

     

    If you play with my Ainmhi, please take a moment to leave a comment, positive or critical, in the file's comments thread. I'm striving to be a productive contributing member of this community and any feedback helps me not feel like I'm wasting my time. There's more to come, but please be patient!

    I'm a sucker for love. I always yearn for it so badly! In the past it has made me do some stupid things that I'll always regret. But these days I like to think my head is on a bit straighter, though I'd still have to say it's my greatest fault or weakness.

    I've never copyrighted or sold any of my works, and no e-books. Actually my recent poetic activity on this site is the most I've ever written. When I first joined I was inspired by the wonderful writings of others, and the words simply began to flow! (Perhaps inspired by love?) Perhaps someday I'll do something more with my words, but for now I think I'm happy to simply share them with you all. (Since our posts are time and date stamped would that not be a new form of the poor-man's copyright?)

    Pertaining to the original question: “Should I be offended by this, or am I just a big crybaby?” I think you should “be” whatever you are going to “be”, about it. And if you do not like what that “be” is, then you examine the situation and determine why you feel the way you do and then either accept yourself and how and why you feel that way or change and adapt to the situation. There are no set rules in life, you do what you are going to do, act how you are going to act and become what you want to become! You just have to be ready to take responsibility for your actions and words.

     

    These are indeed words of wisdom. In response to a comment like: "Whatshisname made me angry," a counselor once told me: "No one can MAKE you feel anything but YOU". I've since learned that this is very true. I have to be honest, I posted this pic in the Debates section to start a debate (imagine that...) because I wanted to hear the opinions of others and get a feel for the community of which I was becoming a new member. Again I thank you ALL for your input and I hope to hear from others who have not yet posted in this thread! :biggrin:

    Ok, now that I've recovered from my massive hangover, does anybody want to take their dragon out for walk with me and San-Seramina? Or, is it a flight? I just realized how little I know about dragons! Oh dear, what do they eat? Where do they sleep? Oh my goodness...what if Seramina has to use the bathroom while on a cloud? Do I need a pooper scooper?
