This has happened in the past and is occurring today, but by what methods is it carried out currently in western countries today? An Example how this works: If a demonstration occurs and the police send undercover agents into the ranks of demonstrators to provoke violent activities in the ranks of demonstrators against the police, so that the later move in with force to put the demonstration down. The resultant action damages the validity of the activist's contention. Now on hypothetical basis what would happen, if a western state would try to suppress by this methodology a human rights activist, that is fighting within the boundary's of laws for a oppressed minority today? What if Government, Judges, Political Parties, the Media and some of the citizens view that activist as traitor and want desperately to get his reputation impugned or the send the activist to jail so that problems of the minority shall not be viewed in public and debated.? While the activist is trying to let the citizens see that their lawsuit is abused in their name to oppress a minority, or in such way carried out (on paper the laws exists, but in practice they are never carried out) that it becomes lip service to those that belong to a minority, that is in such away oppressed. I now ask the community here to debate how a western government carries this out today, what damage does it cause to human rights and what can be done against it legally? How is it that a human rights activist can be publicly viewed as savior (by a oppressed minority) or traitor (by the oppressing majority)?

Nope I just proved there is a difference to knowledge and wisdom the exemplary way! I find your post quite flammable ... might want to consider some things ? If you cant understand an example that was made here that experience and wisdom comes from out of age and doing rather of studding and reading then i cant help you because it is a classical example because it tough everyone here that there are things tha you can learn and from people that are more experienced. (In my opinion some youths lack the knwollege of wisdom of listening to others that want them to improve and rather make their own experiences the hard way) Sometimes you need an good example t prove your point and i made mine quite clear that wisdom and knowledge cant be used well without experience with results in more wisdom and experience by example. I'm sorry that you cant understand this.

Old Owl! Old is self explanatory on your age and Owl because they are renown in ancient Greek not only for the messengers of Athena but also have great wisdom and knowledge.

You might as well consider your relative youth, because all that have posted here are considerable older than you ... A young man should know when it is better to be silent and let the elder ones talk while he listens. That would be considered wise! The experience teaches things beyond school wisdom. But you might refer to some other quotes since you will ignore the best advices... Just because someone is older does not mean they are instantly correct. Your asking me to change my views without any evidence or without a good argument, that is quite foolish. You didn't even make a argument here, you simply gave me a a lot of quotes and told me to accept what people are older then me say. Thanks marharth you just proved me right about something ... "It takes decades to make a wise man, but only seconds to make a fool out of someone!" Thinking is an art that has to be learned by experience not by books or teachings.... Since you didn't read very well (I have the notion you got bored) the last was the most important in a row of good advices to you. To self: "Seams like I was feeding the crows!"

@Marharth The main reason music, art and literature play an important part in education is Interpretation. If teachers don't teach how to interpret a picture and what the artist wants to express with it; or in music what the hidden message is of a political song the pupils lose the basic structure of interpretation on their own. this is an important basis for every democracy as politics have to be interpreted, and it is in the best interests of a democracy to have as many bright people who can think for themselves because they are the fail safe of every democracy. So if a democratic country removes any education in art, music and literature, or even burns books or withholds information; or if teachers are installed who aren't good or get a teaching plan for a year that hasn't any importance in literature, art and music then what form of state could profit from such a biased education which is teaching generations with biased information? Now neither an ignorant nor a downright oppressive person (there is a third alternative but I dare not to speak of that openly) would ask to completely cut the teaching of art, literature and/or music. If you would, please go to the next corner and think it over there until you find out for your self why critical thinking on your own is furthered by music, art and literature? Now either Ignorance or a down right oppressive person (there is a third alternative but I don't dare not to speak that out openly) would ask to completely cut the teaching of either art, literature or /and music. If you would please go to the next corner and think it over there until you found out for your self why critical thinking on your own is furthered by music art and literature?
