  1. My best guess due to the rocks looking volcanic that is something like a lava created underwater hydrothermal vent that would explain why you got it from a scientific site as a picture.
  2. yes the planet can't support more than 10 billion people around the place and they try to make it not a place worth fighting for either more or less. I think i personal agree that also sexuality is apart of the personality and deny a part of identity and personalty by laws from a group of people especially in a democratic nation fells just not right in my stomach. How can this be called freedom when the dreams of others are denied to them by unjust law's that give double standards and compromised it at the same instance. It is still beyond me to grasp that in my brain and in my heart and my soul. Don't Homosexuals bleed the same as we do? Don't they feel the same pain if they get beat up as we do when it happens to us? And don't they have the same right to say yes to one another if they love each other ? If we as hereto sexual have the 'privilege' of marriage. what do we "gain" from denying those rights to those that are different in sexuality, in looks or in wallet? Nothing but there is a loot to lose. "Videant consules ne res publica detrimenti capiat." "Let the consuls see to it that the state suffer no harm." Senatus consultum ultimum Quoted by Cicero.

  6. I find it hard to believe that other people can get in love with one together while others with another sexual orientation don't have the same right to get happy in the way they think it will fit for them. Isn't it a constitutional right in the US to have access to happiness without hurting someone else or at the expense of one others rights?

  10. Everything that a society that labels everything not normal has to be bordered out or has to adapt to the standards of the society by force and rejection. Now how would anybody feel if this was forced upon them by others, because they suddenly aren't social creatures any more because they are not within the norm labels of society? Let's try looking around .. at unemployed persons, at poor persons, at foreigner persons, at gay persons, at lesbian persons, at homeless persons, at disabled persons Now how would you feel if they would do want the same rights to as you want for yourself ? They have the same rights as everyone! If one thinks this is right to deny those groups the same rights ... All are equal before the law unless some may think they are more equal than the others. Those that are more equal may even go to the next pig pen and try to dress the pigs in their best clothing. "Quid leges sine moribus?" "What are laws without morals?" Quintus Horatius Flaccus

  16. Remember my research on stuff ? SOPA/PIPA would give me a hassle triple checking even wikipedia in all countries I can read the language in and I have mucho trouble already knowing which site in the U. S. has valid scientific non biased research stuff hall ready .. it would even double if not triple the time and effort for me to check this out.
  17. about debates: I like some of your mods but on your way to display your arguments I think we will debate on an on for a while. So I'm neither ungrateful nor disrespecting you for or your opinion. On the poster you mentioned that it was sarcasm ...well it can be read another way... and so I did.
  18. In my opinion the context of education of historical characters that participate in a any argument or even war must be historically measured by today's means, in all levels as well picking out only a the rosins out of the cereals can give it not a complete story .. example: Start: Once upon the time .... .. and they lived happy there after on. end See missed a good fairy tale. Seams we napped in lesson now we have the home work to retell the fairy tale .. ouch happened to me once and i learned my lesson "Never sleep in history class even when you have only eaten the rosins in your cereals." (btw it was before the internet) Now on legislative issues as SOPA or PIPA I would like more transparency on the facts how they could be abused but since the politicians are so eager to get publicity they tend to drop this aside .. now see if historical facts come along the same way and in old ancient times historians our modern days historians have not much in the hands and have to uses other methods to prove the fairy tale from the truth of historic events and here it is quite similar .. i miss a transparent report of how PIPA and SOPA on how they can get abused by the same people that want them to be enforced because they don't want to enforce this but force other company's enforce new laws and there for are responsible for the cons as well. but in most cases the neurotic profiling of politicians surfaces in such matters not the common-sense of the ones that later have to deal with the consequences ( not the net pirates but the ones that seeing to it that they don't violate the laws ) but the critics comes only from the later ones that have all the trouble.
  19. I was more in the 20th century the complete time and arguing from that now in context with above post, can you see why you and I are arguing from complete different historical positions you might see why we aren't getting any positive response from one another and/or a mutual agreement that we speak about two different things on historical matters .... while you are still on the independence war, I'm on the 20 century and you can denies that methods changed a loot even between the to historical periods. so we can't really compare them to one another so it would be good if we uses the same historic period. Do we have here an agreement? it gets funny talking to one another in such a matter if someone comes by and starts to really read this .... Psst we could gain laughter with this in similar fashion on TV as Statler and Waldorf and we could get paid for this.. From Arthmoor 's post: i can guarantee you that in the times we life today a politician is needed to get this in to political motion and only one that wants attention due to some hidden agenda be it re election or something else seams in their mind legit to fool around and cost the citizens unnecessary money at worst .. i think that's the case here with SOPA. but I not 100% certain, ( I don' know him that much in the media for a certain reason but so i did compare the situation with one I do know pre-tie well and it happens every year that in those three months one of those comes up and I watch this now for over 25 in particular it gets boring and is only short-lived entertainment ) so it is only my opinion. But if that's the case he hopefully will get smacked by next elections results. Edit: Marharth and you in the other debate, well .. take your time, I have the patience of silver!
  20. History only seen through the victors eyes bears a facility every modern historian will not stand, because in too much cases the context of historical events is lost. and it would be ethical inappropriate for researchers to only view it from only one side. ( this has been much complained about the farer a historian goes back in history to accept the facts but in modern history of the last 300 years it isn't a statement because we have much historic information on more than one side in most cases and we are having much more evidence on the whole context. It is a historians job and scientific ethic to see all sides of;;history not only one. You might know the story of the three blind men that wanted to to know what an elephant is. I tried hard to see a context i admit I have not full insight on American laws and how they are used, but I'm certain where someone is in power that has only his / her viewed that isn't controlled in one way or another there will be abuses and I have already seen it on even protesting Wikipedia (on German pages how this is done. in way that is superficial correct but in context with other valid data is an abuse. ( yes there is a structure there that i could cultural and methodical prove even but there is lack of viewing the truth in a context and most people tend to take the road to simplify what they don't understand because they are too lazy . In ;viewing only spots by highlighting;one spot the things surrounding them that have a direct context are bordered out, because they are either too complicated or simplified either because it don't fits the one raising the argument or they are undesirable and contra productive to the argument I rate.;Scientific reports and studies that are made where the one that paid for a study has the last word what is published and what is not published (;or what is made a ridiculously minor problem has brought not only false studies forward but only wide accepted association falsities.) Here a little actual example out of many that can come along with above mentioned; . Red wine researcher Dr. Dipak K. Das published fake data Yes i have fallen for years to that facility i can take the consequences and i can take the self deceit i did to my self and that makes me angry believing such a ( insert swear word of your choise ) . PIPA the most dangerous of the two. laws can be expanded or winded so they fit an abuses that can be made by a single person how the companies are going to enforce this can only be on a subjective matter and there for the abuses is set because in this case this can only be done by lawyers with a subjective mind guess now how much it will cost and think again who shall pay for the costs then look again where the money now comes from i think i know what will happen who pays get information and who can not pay ;remains uneducated and poor. The word classicism now gets more and more form and where does this lead to?didn't you pick my country as argument for your points of now what was again one of the major crimes in the aftermath my country was found guilty? ;Sounds similar to classicism and is related to it by the context (hmm); Might be you can denie the relevance with the other subjects only taking on point by point, but then again someone misses the context. I think, I'm here already 10 corners thinking ahead, but I can live with this handicap pretty well. SOPA, I think it was thought up by a politician that had either too much vacations or too less, because politicians in my country come up with such funny ideas at such times in the year when they have 3 months of vacations. It is only deepest sub level political entertainment. Sorry fast edit messed up somehow if something is a bit amiss
  21. Hardly. My glasses are perfectly clear, and the historical facts of the matter perfectly true. Sorry but one of them seams to be broken because you are viewing it only from one eye on one side and if you would give me at least 24 h time for a translation of laws that aren't translated into English and a bit of telling you how they are used, I could scare you.. but I will only do it if you want it. Horror is best when the audience is prepared and I'm not Hitchcock, so please don't expect me to be a grand master in it. One can never absolutely guarantee this, even with a Constitution as powerful as ours which sets forth rights the government cannot abridge. What you seem to be missing here is that the problem being addressed by SOPA/PIPA is with regard to criminal activity. Crime is not protected free speech. Our Supreme Court has ruled many times on that. Our laws give us tools with which to combat crime. SOPA/PIPA are tool to that end. Perhaps not perfect tools, but none of the protesters are coming up with an alternative that isn't the wild wild west of the 21st century. At least Rep. Issa has come up with an alternative piece of legislation that may or may not be more appropriate to the issue. It's called the OPEN Act, and very few if any sites are mentioning it as a legitimate alternative. Usually what happens when people approach Congress with the attitude of "nobody touches my internet" it doesn't get you very far. Piracy isn't going away. Nor are copyright holders who's works are being infringed. You scrap this bill, and you have absolutely no guarantee that what comes next won't be substantially worse. Well wait till you get thought crimes and new speech when though and opinions are regulated well the path has been already cleared for such if you only look at SOPA / PIPA you don' get the whole picture if you look broader at the laws that are heavily debated in your country from the last, lets say 12 years then you might gain a picture that uses structures that can be again in relevance to the methods used in my country prior to your victory only make me nervous (and that's honestly put an euphemism, because i fear history repeating it self .. ) now please don't judge me too hard, I'm against Internet piracy, but I'm certainly against governmental abuses of laws and there my primary doubt goes in direct relevance to the patriot act and how it is handled by the U.S: Government if both only by accusation come together in some form anything breaks even your constitution and i don' want to see it in such manner. If you are asking me what the appropriate response would be to a British occupation of North America in the 21st century, I'd say George Washington already answered that 250 years ago. The solution would be the same now as it was then. Expel them by force. Otherwise I have no idea what you're asking me. Sadly i was hoping you would try to answer what would happen in the 1812 Canada matter a bit more specifically on the today used politics and diplomatics in our time because lot has changed in the mean while you left out. Now my question goes back to the Peace Treaty of Versailles and how would your country react to similar teams in exactly the same all in all circumstances? In my opinion the American public would react not exactly the same but similar.
  22. *Knock Knock* In what fictional dream Please ? In no fictional dream. You're living in a country right now that was freed using guns. History seen through pink glasses. Why I ask you they voted for the tyrant and why no one want to be on his side as the foreign guns moved in? Any similarity to any other American liberation on foreign country's ? And why did my people used the psychological term of "self deceit" as defence and why ? Freedom through force of weapons, through force and fear ... Hmmm and the results .. you get a silent opposition that is doing things behind your back secretly or you get an open liberation by a rebellion ... and you posted it your self in your last argument. now take your pick of what my country historical did in reality... the self deceit lives on... and is lurking Though I'm pretty sure AutoPumpaction was being sarcastic when he posted it, you're missing the target here if you think it would be American vs American. In all likelihood a scenario that brought us to the use of guns to overthrow our government would mean having the backing of our volunteer military. Without them, there would be little chance of a popular uprising against some issue surviving longer than a few days. I can assure you an anti-piracy bill circulating through Congress isn't going to be sufficient to rally the troops on either side. For the most part, most people simply don't care and it won't affect them anyway. Not directly but when information is denied by a government it is a censorship. Can you guarantee by your constitution that not the wrong sites aren't affected and another self deceit happens like the one I mentioned in this post above? There I have my serious doubts. Someone should tell that to the founders of the United States then. The American Revolution was our freedom being won precisely by a whole lot of people taking up arms and forcing the British off the continent. And again in 1812 when they though to take advantage of our overreach in attacking Canada. Question: "What would be the appropriate political and diplomatic reaction, if both from your side mentioned historic events would happen in the 21st century ?"
  23. *Knock Knock* In what fictional dream Please ? 1st you need hundred thousands and for every American who picks up a gun to end this and there is one American that raises its gun for it against you , if you rally them in that way. Btw does that set-up remind you of something? : "History repeating itself!" Think about 150 years back in American history .. Got it ? You cant win freedom with weapons in your hand ... like I said before some posts ago "fear never made someone free..." Nope Internet freedom can't be archived by sabotage, by arms or by violent force, but by honest and non violent protest and opposition with arguments. You can make the internet free with a valid argument that is more worth than thousands of weapons.

  25. @ginnyfizz (Thank you. I got it will try it soon) In case we get to deep into piracy sharing recipes over the internet her Is the Apple Sprinkle Cake recipe (mine is a bit modded. I like to add a extra knifes tip cinnamon powder to the sprinkles because it fits more to the Apples in my opinion) . SOPA & PIPA ( especially the PIPA Popanz) has here in Germany no support and making us 2nd class citizens of US company's and I see there as well a danger from big company using the lawsuit from the U.S as a back-door lawsuit. Neat idea for company lawyers using US piracy laws but this only the start i know of certain U.S. and Japanese company's hiring personnel and lawyers in my country to search the internet for pirated content. With this laws it get really quickly funny to know that they are lowering out unemployment rate and it is now the lowest since 1993 official (unofficial there are still 5 millions unemployed here, but the government used tricks and deceit to make them ... lets say vanish from statistics with measures so that they are constant temporary not showing in this) Aye it is funny they change the label and the way how to do something and it is legit .. now think again how laws can be expanded in an inappropriate way just to the bidding of a complaining industry that hasn't made it's homework and now lets pay up the bill for the not done homework by they tax paying citizens and this in a time where governmental money is sparse and unemployment is high in the U.S. ... makes me rub my chin and role my eyes .. anyone know how much it would cost to get SOPA or / & PIPA up and running ?
