  1. Not all tracks are xwma format, quite a few are wav. Extract a few tracks of the type you are adding making sure you match properties such as stereo, 48hz etc. Some tracks have loopmarkers as well.
  2. Probably something with your nif, missing attach point or flags. Post the nif so someone can check it out.
  3. Been a while since I messed with it but iirc 15-20 mins. Had some issues when making a radio mod. Hopefully you can get a more definitive answer from someone else.
  4. Substance has a student program but I'm unsure what qualifications are needed for it. Mari afaik is more geared towards VFX and the film industry, while the others are more often used for games.
  5. Mari seems a bit much if you're wanting to get into making textures. Would suggest getting familiar with the substance suite or quixel instead. Just a sidenote of course.
  6. Made an example plugin ages ago you can take a look at. Can't really explain it better than those tutorials you linked so take a look at the plugin http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13912
  7. What questions is it that it leaves unanswered? Just saying it's too vague is. .. too vague.

  9. You don't edit the forms in the dlc directly. Use xedit and copy forms you need to edit as override to a separate plugin.

  11. Not at pc atm but there's a shaderflag in nif (and probably bgsm) called something like cast shadow you should toggle.
  12. Like Ethreon is saying, xEdit and Keywords are seperate things. Here are all keywords from base game and dlcs, most have descriptions: https://gist.github.com/kingtobbe/62a91e4f64eac88f74f2bbd4099a9700
  13. Indeed, it's available under tools or by hotkey. Suggest you read the wiki a few times it will make working with the app more enjoyable https://github.com/ousnius/BodySlide-and-Outfit-Studio/wiki
  14. This is one of the best I've found http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:XEdit
  15. Blender has lots of plugins, while from a quick glance most of the things you dont see should be included already they might not be activated by default. Also its likely many things are context sensitive and dont show up unless you actually have something selected etc. Watch some tutorials, making models from scratch is a long and painful process but ultimately very rewarding.
  16. If it helps you understand something new quality is good I'd say. Personally I find it very difficult to just learn stuff without a problem, invented ir real. So I'd recommend figuring out something you wanna do and then attempt it, filling up on information as you go along. I have a playlist that might be of use though it's pretty messy https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLlJS25z8WHXwuh6Z2FyO2H0T6eekXukrm
  17. If you have access to the official exporter and 3ds max 2013 you should be able to export the animation.
  18. Hello. You need to edit the vanilla bgsm as it trumps any paths found in textureset below it. To do this open it using material editor by ousnius and edit paths accordingly. The path to the bgsm should be visible in the name of the shade node in the nif. Check this tutorial for further information http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Using_Material_Swaps_in_Fallout_4
  19. This thread is old. Restart steam and the loop should stop.
