  1. I like Clothing and Clutter Fixes by kryptopyr. It makes a lot of changes- mostly to clothing, natch- but I found that silver clutter is now worth picking up (if I'm not heavily loaded) without being too valuable.
  2. FranklinZunge has added sleeves to a great many armor sets. I know he did hide, but not sure about fur. You should check it out.
  3. I'm no lawyer, but as long as you make no profit from those likenesses, it should be okay. After all, there are several celebrity follower mods. However, expect to draw the ire of Lore- Purists should you upload anything like that
  4. Less Intrusive HUD allows you to change the location and size of onscreen messages. Might not be exactly what you want, but I enjoy it.
  5. I don't know about NMM (my 230+ mods are installed manually), but I do have SKSE. Whenever I install a new mod, I exit steam, then run Skyrim from the launcher. When the launcher comes up (after Steam restarts), I click "Data Files," then make sure my new mods are checked off. Click OK, then Exit the launcher, then restart Skyrim (Steam and SKSE are already running at this point). I follow this same procedure after running BOSS. Don't know if that helps or not. Good Luck.
  6. ninjapuppies, have you seen this tool ? I know practically nothing about 3-D models and meshing, but with a tutorial linked by Caliente, I was able to successfully convert an armor from CBBE to vanilla in about 10 minutes. You should give it a look.
  7. I had recently installed Skyrim Immersive Creatures and so was unaware of how nasty the "Night encounters" option can be. My Wood Elf Archer was mucking about in the woods between Riverwood and Falkreath, just south of the lake and I lost track of time. Before I knew it, night had fallen. Now I use an ENB that makes nights dark- like can't see without a torch dark, So I'm fumbling about, trying to find my way back to the road when I hear a wolf howl. "Great," I think, "I'm going to have to fight wolves in almost complete blackness." Something hits me- hard, and I see a pair of glowing eyes. My level 6 character has just run into a werewolf. I immediately quaff a potion and foolishly think for a second that I have a chance. After a few swings that do no visible damage, I realize I have to run for it if I expect to survive. I'd gotten turned around in the melee, so I just pick a direction and sprint, hoping for the best. Shortly, I fall. I had hit a small cliff and dropped down. Good news, I could see because there was a light source, Bad News- it was the candles on that Conjuror's Altar. "Never should have come here!" You got that right, Pal. I hear the *Shrang* of a summoning and now I have a familiar chasing me as well. Ordinarily, I could have stood my ground, but the werewolf had scored a few hits and my vision was awash in blood spatters, my health dangerously low. I bee-lined for the lake and could hear that the werewolf had found the Conjuror (good!) but the familiar was still chasing me. I jumped in the water with the intention of swimming all the way to Riverwood. OF COURSE, I attracted the attention of a slaughterfish. Fortunately, I was able to make it to the Hunter Camp on the Lakeshore and he took care of the fish for me, but my health was at about 5% by the time I made it. I unpacked my bedroll and slept right there. I in no way "won" that day (other than surviving), but it's one of my favorite Skyrim memories.
  8. I made the first one sort of standalone as a test project. It creates 3 armors called, Skimpy Imperial, Skimpy Studded Imperial and Skimpy Heavy Imperial. They are craftable at the forge if you have the appropriate armor and some leather strips. Defense and weight are both lowered slightly. They will use the default imperial textures or any replacers you have. Also upgradeable at workbench. Find here Mesh belongs to Toolapb.
  9. Nice links, Jokerine. Also, msgtmichael, though it shows a bit more skin than your image, I immediately thought of Schwertleite. I think it has a similar aesthetic.
  10. I think it looks like this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/16050/ And I think the straps and Skirt are from Here.
  11. This sounds like what you are looking for. It is considered a body tattoo, so it requires Racemenu to work. I had installed it myself, but truth be told, I wasn't too thrilled with the actual textures. However, the idea is great and if you have skill with editing textures, you'd could use Ghorza's or the one from Sleek Steel (I'm a fan of both of those  )
  12. If I had to suspect anyone in Skyrim of human trafficking, who would it be? It would have to be someone that considers everything to be for sale; the kind of person that would sell his own sister if he had one. He would even buy someone's relative- if they were willing to sell. Of course, that person would claim to only joke about such things. He'd also probably have a large, dim-witted henchman that worked for him.
  13. Pretty sure it's Duelists' Longcoat, possibly with a custom texture.
  14. Immersive Creatures has them. They're not very aggressive, but they are tough to tangle with- much like giants. I don't know if they exist as a stand-alone, but it's a good place to start looking.
  15. Disenchantable Boots of Waterwalking has been handled here , as long as you have Dragonborn DLC. The same author has made a Waterwalking Spell Tome (DB also required). As far as Mage armor, I found the in-game mechanic sufficient, even playing at Master- as long as you can avoid getting hit too much. If you end up going toe-to-toe a lot, perhaps you should be wearing armor. Remember, TES V also added wards which give an additional defensive option.
  16. In addition to the suggestions above, for a "real" follower (i.e. not Esbern) you could always instruct them to "Wait" while directing them somewhere out of the doorway, then instruct them to follow once you are past them. I have frequently re-cast summons in a different place to get my atronachs, familiars or Dremora out of my way.
  17. Skooma? Never touch the stuff, but I make a pretty penny seling any of it I come across. Now Sleeping Tree Sap, on the other hand... that's got a bit of a kick. I had some on my Wood Elf ranger when she was taking out a vampire nest she stumbled into. Things got a little hectic so she drank it as a last-ditch heal. Dual blades cut a swath through the bloodsuckers in a dreamlike haze. Always try to keep a little on me now. And did someone mention smoking?
  18. In addition to the Headless Horseman, I've run across a Ghost Sabrecat on the road near Windhelm. It was not the Guardian Spirit from the Trials quest, as I've come across it on more than one character who was uninvolved in that quest. It was non-hostile, though it did attack wolves and goats.
  19. Less Intrusive Hud II allows you to change the size of the crosshair (as well as almost all other HUD features). Worth a look,
