your optimal screen resolution is 1024*768 if you choose 640 or 800 it compress the textures thats why it takes more time and drop in fps

I think if you put high around 5-7 it should put load on CPU to keep up with GPU( and zero not means infinite, CPU prepare frames for GPU) and for heat well let the vsync enable and maximum two hour gameplay if your card reaching 90.

I've already been doing this if you didn't read my posts. I have to have it unplugged to get my computer to boot otherwise it keeps stalling at a boot menu and doesn't go anywhere. I can't even bring up diagnostics, boot menu or any other menu by hiiting either esc, F11 or F10. How am I supposed to get my computer to format it if it doesn't recognize it to begin with? When I first installed it I had to go into the computer manager to format it and set it's path so it can be recognized. It doesn't even show up the computer manager anymore. Try it in your friend's pc whether it is detecting or not.

I dont know any software that test your PSU but you can test it by your own by shorting every single pin with "Green" wire(PS_ON) and turning the PSU on. If the fan stopped/not working on any pin then the PSU is culprit(this will never test ripple!)

The computer is enough to play NFS undercover/Burnout Paradise and COD4 like titles(of course Crashless Oblivion/FO3 because of 6gb/64-bit :P ) but you have to add 9500GT 1GB for a 300W power or if you go for 9600GT you need to change PSU :thumbsup:

May be CPU overheating.One of the cause is wrong way to put thermal grease,just apply it in the center and put the heatsink on it, Do not spread or apply it on the corners and side of proc, this will stop releasing heat from itself.And for the power supply, name please? :ohdear:
