  1. I'm running Frosty v10.0.5.9 and it launches DAI (and Mass Effect - Andromeda) without a problem. But using Frosty it does seem to take a much longer time to Load, or Exit, things in DAI, e.g. the game itself, a previous save, or a new area. Not sure why this might be, it isn't the case with MEA.
  2. Thx for the update/clarification. I've edited this topic's Title to avoid confusion.
  3. Great! Now what's the "this" that you're referring to? There were several suggestions ahead of your post. (Others may benefit from that info.)
  4. I don't trust any of the youtubers. If you're at all hesitant about building from scratch, I recommend going with Digital Storm. Good prices, great products, excellent warranty and customer service. Plus, known quality and all the configuration fiddling and driver issues already worked out!
  5. Yep, console players will get a "closer to PC" experience out-of-the-box... Then still won't be able to upgrade their key hardware (CPU, GPU, and RAM).
  6. Weird. I uploaded an image yesterday with no problem. (Just lucky, I guess...)
  7. See post #18 above. Frosty is launching my game without any problems. For those having issues, please provide more info, like what error messages you're getting and a DXdiag report.
  8. @Stronglav; Would need a LOT more info than that to provide any sort of help. What version? What error message? What platform specs and OS? etc.
  9. ^^^ THIS ^^^ Same here. No Win10 v2004 problems with any of the games I run. Not even any hardware driver issues. (Did update the nVidia graphics driver immediately after installing v2004.)
  10. Nexus pages for the mods and forums for any specific game that doesn't already have them will be automatically created (after a brief Staff review) once someone uploads a mod for that game.
  11. @rayharry; Do you use Avast or AVG? If so, see the post above yours. (Those a/v products think any Frostbite-based game is malware and prevent it from launching.)
  12. ^^^ THIS ^^^ Although after removing all mods and making sure the vanilla game works correctly I follow the "Add half the remaining mods back" for each cycle of testing. Goes a bit faster than one-by-one since most mods won't be the problem.
  13. @Telonna; As @tsm said: install EA/Origin, then install DAO using the "Product Code" you got with the new copy. (BTW: You did not have to buy the game again. Your old code would have worked, presuming you still had it.)
  14. I'm running Win10/64-bit, version 2004, Build 10.0.19041, and Frosty version 10.0.5.9 with no problems. Latest EA/Origin update also already applied. Still no issues... But I'm only using .fbmod-formatted mods.
  15. Game-specific queries belong in the appropriate game's individual sub-forum. (I would have moved this one if you had provided any indication of which game you're talking about. :geek: )
  16. Topic moved to the appropriate sub-forum. (Technical queries about a specific game belong in that game's forums.)
  17. Topic moved to the appropriate sub-forum. (Technical queries about a specific game belong in that game's forums.)
  18. I'm going to guess that you haven't extracted the actual mod files from the download archive. Which "app" (program) you need for doing that depends on the archive file format itself. What format are the download files you're asking about? .zip? .7z? .rar? Other? Some archiving programs can handle multiple formats, some only handle one. Only after extracting the files from the archive would you (or DAMM, or DAM, or DAUpdater) be able to do anything with them.
  19. Not a Nexus site issue. Might get a more meaningful response if posted in the Tomb Raider forums.
  20. To clarify something tsm said, it would be a violation of the TaP to make changes to someone else's mod and upload the new file here... UNLESS the person doing that obtained permission from the original mod author first. With permission, it would be fine.
  21. @Revkol; Same as above, please post your query in the apporopriate game forum.
