  1. @Wulcy; Dragon Age: Origins is one of those games that repays your replaying over-and-over. Choose a different Origin, choose a different class and/or gender, choose different companions in your "go to" party, make some different choices at decision points, do any or all of those and you'll have a very different experience. I have dozens (yes, dozens) of playthroughs and still hear new dialogue every time.
  2. Anyone can create a new area on the Nexus for a new game. All one has to do is upload a mod for it! If the mod isn't for an already listed game there's an option to add it. (Takes a bit longer because we vet all newly added games manually.) Vortex support is a completely different subject. Factors include the easy of managing mods for a given game, number of mods for the game on the Nexus, and overall popularity of the game itself. (I don't know for sure, but I think "Doom" is unlikely to be very high on the devs' list...)
  3. @Wulcy; I have dozens of playthoughs. While CtDs are not unknown to me, they are very, very rare. As @balmz asked, which mods are you using, have you installed the 4GB hak, (if not, do!) and what are your system specs?
  4. Which game? (Tech questions belong in the forum for the specific one.)
  5. @yumiifmb; Ouch. If you have to ask the question, it might be better not to do this. (I gather you do have the GOG version.) All versions of Windows have the built-in utility program called "Regedit" which is used to, (as the name implies) edit the Registry. When you open it, it will ask if you want to make a backup copy of your Registry before making changes. Good idea! (Be sure to note the path/filename of that backup.) Then use the "Search" function to find the exact term identified above, and make the change, and Save and Exit, then re-boot. (Some Registry changes are not read until boot.) If you did things correctly, your computer will start and whatever change you made now operates as expected. I also recommend that you check out a few YouTube videos on Registry editing first so you have an understanding of what you're getting into.
  6. Bumping topics is a violation of our TaP. This is a voluntary participation community. No one is under any obligation to respond to you, and the most common reason for no reply is, "No one knows..."
  7. If you don't know enough to unpack archive files (.zip, .rar, .7z, .tar, etc.) before trying to use their contents, you don't know enough to be trying to mod your game. <facepalm>
  8. Anyone can create an area for mods for a new game on the Nexus. All it takes is having a mod to upload. During that process, if the game is not already on the Nexus the option to create a new area is offered.
  9. Avast, (and AVG, they are owned by the same outfit now) flags many games' and mods' executables as malware. For example, they keep any game using the Frostbite engine from starting. There are many alternatives, including free ones (e.g. "Windows Defender", which is built-in to Win10) that do a much better job.
  10. @avocadoninja; The Nexus does not store the "private information" needed to process those transactions. We only keep your registration email address on file. The other data is needed to verify the payment so we pass it along to PayPal or your financial institution, and your country is needed to calculate the correct amount of tax. That's all. (For all we care you can say your name is "Santa Claus" and your address is "The North Pole", but then the payment might not go through... )

  12. That description would seem better suited to armour belonging to "Ser Howard of Lovecraft".
  13. @kirloper; Same as above, please post your query in the apporopriate game forum.
  14. The basic rule on the Nexus is, "If you're not sure you have permission, you don't." The ones that I know have granted petmission for use of their games' assets in mods are these: Bethesda -- Allows use of assets ONLY for mods for the exact same game as the source. BioWare -- Allows use of assets for any game IN THE SAME SERIES as the source. CDProjekt Red -- Allows use of all assets in mods for ANY game. (The above all stipulate "non-commercial use only".)
  15. EDIT: Fixed the spelling in title and post. I liked it, but the word is nordic in origin. Hence "sk", (not "sc", which was confusing) in English.
  16. As said above, any response is up to those individual authors. Best to discuss things with them in the KC-D forums, or on their individual mods' pages.
  17. Any response would be up to the KC-D community of players and mod authors. The Nexus does not "support" games, or mods, directly. It supports mod authors and users by providing a platform for the sharing of mods and discussions about them (and associated topics, of course.)
  18. Cuntymcassface banned. Reason: Inappropriate username
  19. @goobernpea; @blamz is correct, Vortex is a terrible mod manager for the Dragon Age games. You should uninstall any mods you've already tried to use Vortex to install and then reinstall them following their authors' instructions, or using one of the two mod managers designed for DA.
