  1. The live ones in the cell can also be caused by scripts found in the mod Closing Time (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34169). I found a replacement, but I can't spot it in my LO in Vortex. It updates the locations of NPCs after sleeping, waiting, or fast travel.
  2. Quick try - use the 'help' command in the console, type help "item name here" hit Enter. The first two digits in the id shown is the number of the plugin in that slot in your load order. Once you know the slot, you should be able to see the name of the plugin, at least.
  3. Comments on the current version of Better Dynamic Snow https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9121 states that it (v 3.2) and the fix for parallax shaders do not play well together. The comments also show some problem with Wet and Cold. Go look to see if this applies to you
  4. Have you tried disabling/deactivating all your Open Cities mods/patches and your bashed patch, and starting a new game? Just to make sure that there is not some kind of conflict with any of them. You can always re-enable after you check. Did you delete all saves before starting a new game? I like to make a folder in the \Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\Saves and simply drag and drop the old saves, if I want to keep them for troubleshooting or prior to archiving the character/playthrough. Did you try to coc to the test cell? Look it up, I have never used it before.
  5. Re: Not yet rated - I D/L a LOT of mods that look cool, but await a new start, or a new start w/a specific focus or theme, or the mods are in various stages of development. I don't endorse mods that I haven't yet installed. I track most of them. 1) Is this cool? 2) Is there a better way to do things? Thanks!
  6. Do you use this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18975? It may help. I do not use any CC content, just trying to be helpful. If you use SSEEdit, you could load up your entire LO in it, right-click on any of the plugin names, and check for conflicts. You will have to expand the information in the gray cowl plugin once the conflict search is done. Something may be overwritten (AI, schedule) by later content. Search for help on conflict resolution if you don't know how. Too much to cover in here.
  7. Load up anything M'rissi in SSEEdit, and check the records inside to see if anything got marked 'playable'? I do not mod, but CK may have 'helped' you when you saved. Do you use SSE Creation Kit Fixes? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20061 If not, you could try it. It can help with some CK behaviors that mess things up.
  8. Maybe try disabling both smoking torches AND embers in your plugin LO in Vortex, then load up your save and see what happens. If something changes, re-enable one of them and repeat. Looked at smoking torches, and the comments section there says that it should be loaded AFTER embers. Go check for yourself, to make sure I didn't miss something. You may need to make a manual overwrite on Vortex plugin page.
  9. Search this forum (and internet) for "skyrim se papyrus errors". You should be able to find help on interpreting the logs. I see two possible problems, did you disable or remove mods that were in this playthrough? SkyUI AND Climates of Tamriel are reported as missing/not loaded yet, so you may have load order problems, or you somehow deactivated or uninstalled them.
  10. Might any of these help? I don't use any of them. Autoharvest https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17622 Quickloot RE https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21085 Quickloot SE https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18782 (careful, this one supports pickpocket as well) Good Luck!
  11. You are very welcome! I hope you never get shoved off a cliff or a bridge ever again!
  12. Here are some in my LO that I like: Trade and Barter https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/23081 Scaled Two-Handed Attack Speed https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30668 Crispy Dragon Bones https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/41206 No Lockpick Activate (SKSE) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/26790 Enchantment Reload Fix https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21055 Closing Time https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34169 Attack Speed Framework https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10741 Armor Rating Redux SE https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17932 I forgot one - Whiterun Battle Brothers https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/36036
  13. You can try this... https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/27742 It allows party members to pass through you.
  14. I spotted something in your LO this A.M. It looks like you have Bijin AIO and Wives, Warmaidens, and NPCs all active. Aren't you supposed to disable all three component esps in your LO? I am sorry that all of this is so disjointed, I have been on Vortex for about a year now, and it has been quite awhile since I had to do all of this more or less manually.
  15. Did you clean the new SSE files using the -quickautoclean method with SSEEdit? If not, look it up.
  16. Something else I found by searching for "skyrim se mod conflicts that cause ctd" on DuckDuckGo: https://levelskip.com/how-to/How-to-find-the-cause-of-a-Skyrim-crash-which-mods-caused-it-and-how-to-resolve-it-using-Papyrus-logs-and-Windows-Grep You might also try this, running SSE w/this active may help find out if you are running out of some type of resources: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3826 Found some older info about skyrim.ini tweaks that might help if your mods are just a little too big for your machine, these seemed to help me get a more stable SSE on my old computer... https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/22rbk5/whats_the_best_papyrus_tweaks_to_use/
  17. Well, we are fast approaching the limits of my limited experience in tracing problems. Have you ever used SSEEdit to look for conflicts? It can possibly help in finding problems in your load order that LOOT may not handle - I have seen it repeatedly said that LOOT is only a guideline. Short version - run SSEEdit, load your entire load order, then right-click on any of the files once loaded. You will see a listing of operations, click on "Apply Filter to show Conflicts" - it will take some time to filter the results. Once it is complete, your load order should be color coded. Red - holds information overridden by another mod, yellow - some info overridden, not assumed to be critical, peach/orange - nothing overridden, will override others. You will have to look at each file, one at a time, to sort of get a feel for what is being overridden, and use your common sense to determine which overrides may be important. The overrides you might safely ignore are related to the intended content of your mods, like character overrides for things like Bijin or Pandorable's overhauls. However, some other of the overrides INSIDE those mods may 'touch' info that overrides things that cause problems. Maybe you should go to a discussion site for NMM, and ask there, as well. At one time, ESL-flagged esps and esl flagged mods could cause problems. One last thing, any of your mods that add NPC's that have head parts marked as 'playable' can cause problems, especially in character generation, so maybe during play as that character's info is being loaded into the game? You will have to search for more on this. I wish that I could have been more help. I will continue to follow this thread, if you have any more questions. Let me know if you find out what it was. Feel free to PM me.
  18. Something sticks out on the modwatch 'skyrim' page, line 37 - SGeneralMasterMismatchWarning=One or more plugins could not find the correct versions of the master files they depend on. Errors may occur during load or game play. Check the "Warnings.txt" file for more information. While this looks like the source for a warning when it pops, have you looked to see if there is any info in that text file, or if it is even present? Other considerations - does LOOT flag mods that are not in form 44 for SSE, but in skyrim LE form 43? If you find any form 43 mods, just load them into Creation Kit (make sure you have installed Creation Kit Fixes beforehand) and save the mod. Having mods in form 43 can cause problems resulting in unstable saves, I believe. (I use Vortex as a manager, and LOOT is run automatically, and the plugins page on Vortex has a field that shows LOOT warnings. I have little current experience in finding such things manually.) Have you gone to LL to ask about your sexlab related mods? I used to run it in LE, and had a lot of work to do to clean up such things. Have you checked the SKSE logs in \Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE?
  19. I am sorry, I forgot to ask if you have used SSEEdit (xEdit), and used it to clean your files. Cleaning your files with it https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/164 can help prevent CTDs and many other problems. There is a -quickautoclean feature for Skyrim's main files and DLC. Be sure to check the comments on the SSEEdit page, and check for up to date videos, etc. before using.
  20. Which mod manager do you use? This is often a result of installing a mod that requires the listed .esm, and you have not installed it. BTW - that particular mod is on Lover's Lab. If you recently installed a new mod, that mod may be looking for it.
  21. Here is an older forum entry about Papyrus editor interpretation: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1106326-help-interpreting-papyrus-logs/ and https://www.afkmods.com/index.php?/topic/4129-skyrim-interpreting-papyrus-log-errors/ I am not using any CC stuff, so I am not sure if any of these might help, if your 6 MB video card is getting slammed. I once had some kind of app that helped decipher Papyrus errors, but I can't find it now, maybe someone else can help there. Just check the descriptions, and make sure you check and install the requirements. I would not try any of these fixes right away, until others have had a chance to look over your stuff, b/c most of them require the manual installation of helper files into your SSE folder or data folder, and you have to keep track of them if you want to uninstall them fully. SSE Fixes https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10547 Bug Fixes SSE https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/33261?tab=description Actor Limit Fix https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32349 If you use SKSE64, you can find logs for it in your Documents/My Games/Skyrim Special Edition/SKSE folder, and for other individual plugins in your skyrim special edition/data/skse/plugins folder. SSE Engine Fixes (skse64 plugin) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230 Good luck!
  22. I am not any kind of expert, but you might try looking at skse64.log. It might have info on something that is not loading properly. Unless you changed the default locations somehow during installation, you should be able to find it in the \Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE. There might be a separate log folder in the My Games\Skyrim Special Edition folder, as well.
  23. Thanks for the reply. I just know that I can't access an old website or old gmail account. I will check into proton, perhaps. Well, Google will send a security e-mail to my recovery address, but insists on having a phone number to text a code to. HEY, GOOGLE! SOME PPL DO NOT HAVE PHONES TO TEXT TO/FROM. COME UP W/SOME OTHER WAY TO GET A SECURITY CODE!!!
  24. Thanks, but that is the problem. It won't even accept my e-mail address on that access. The site says "You can't use that e-mail on this site." I can't contact them w/ the e-mail account that I use for general access. Update - I had to make some adjustments to my browser, finally got the 'contact us' to work, but I am not sure that my msg got through, or that they have my e-mail address to be able to reply.
