SpiderBob, try verifying your game files in Steam. You could have gotten a corrupt download. Good Luck in chasing the problem down.

Have you tried to start a completely new game, and use a console command (coc) to get to winterhold college? The problem may be actually be included (baked in to) your save game.

There is also Alternate Skill Books (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/25887). Replaces the skill point books w/an xp percentage bonus for each book read.

I found it - Snow Elf Resurrection SE (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/25113). The comments section states that it is not working properly. You may have to port (or have someone else port) the latest Skyrim version. Sorry, the previous mod wasn't what you were looking for, I must have seen them both about the same time, and got them confused.

NFF has a way to configure the priority settings for its behaviors. This, along with many other settings, are pretty obscure to me, since I haven't used them. Maybe you should try to ask Nether on the Patreon site, and/or Arthmoor on the AFK Mods site (https://www.afkmods.com). That site is where you should find Storefront. Hopefully you can find help there.

Have you used SSEEdit to check for overwrites of CRF? Your LO is putting it quite a bit earlier than mine, so more chances of overwrites that block content. Not saying yours is wrong, but I also see a bashed patch in your LO that could/should be overwriting many things. I have never used bashed patches, so I may well be off-base there.

Embers HD (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/14368). I don't use it right now, because I like the effects of Cinematic Fire Effects 2 better, and don't want to pick through overrides.

I think that the mod Amorous Adventures, either version, has dialog to gain Alva as a follower/lover. But it also makes her essential, so you can't kill her if you choose. Amorous Adventures Plus (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/39163) Another thought - Nether's Follower Framework (found on Patreon) allows you to recruit many NPC actors. -
Check in XP32 and/or your body physics mod to see if either has been overwritten. If one/both has, then fix it.

I did some searching, and there is a mod for LE, ported for SE, that was a WIP, and a bit buggy. I believe it was titled Bellaria Isle, or Island. Sorry that I didn't copy it, but it was very late for me, and I had had enough for the day...

There is Civil War Neutrality (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21176). It also allows you to get Hjerim and become thane of Windhelm w/o the Civil War stuff... It sometimes bugs out, and you have to purchase Hjerim a 2nd time. -
Nether's Follower Framework will do a lot of this, if you set the home base for your follower. You can specify work, relax, and rest locations for each home base, and the locations can be in the communities they live in. Nether has a site on Patreon.

This problem occurs when you have cleaned the Skyrim master files. Simply verify your game files in Steam, and load the last save from before you entered that level (I think it was Chapter 6?). I had to do this a few weeks ago. As an added bonus, my game does not CTD any more.

Installed skeleton (like XPMSSE) and/or animation files being overwritten by one of your later mods? Something not arranged or activated properly in your Overwrite folder? I am not current with MO, but these are the things I would check 1st. -
Missing master files for patches, like zMirai, could cause CTD. Do you use LOOT to sort your load order? I think that you can get a complete LO from it. It's been several years since I used NMM, but I think that I am correct. Loot can also give some warnings when things are missing/not needed. If you don't have USSEP installed in a modded game, or even the base game, you are asking for trouble, since it was made to squash bugs/ctd.

Sorry, I had hoped that the MCM options in FM would allow your child to grow up. It was a bit buggy for me in my current game, but I did have a child become an adult, and it had NPC stats. I have not yet installed the FM tweaks, so I don't know if it helps.

This would be a problem if there are a lot of ppl like me, who d/l many mods with an eye towards including them in their next playthrough, which might be months away...

What do you use as a mod manager? Your load order doesn't look complete, no USSEP, and you show a Mirai patch for GT of Ivarstead, but no zMirai.esp, and the game master files are not showing...

Have you verified your game files in Steam? Might be corrupted files. Also, try to load a much earlier save, and fast travel to Winterhold, and see if you still have a CTD.

If you use Fertility Mode, there is Fertility Mode Fixes and Tweaks (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/46820). Take a look, and see if these two will solve your problem...
