  1. So basically you want Nazeem to follow you? ;-) I think Zora Fair-Child is certainly of the beaten track, she is a Intresting NPCs Super Follower. She was too nuts for my current playthrough. http://3dnpc.com/wiki/interesting-npcs/locations/whiterun/zora/
  2. Maybe a Dwemer Rod that uses tonal architecture? Otherwise I am blank to any musical related Magicks!
  3. Nothing goes to steam, after the game you have to manually click on stuff to get anything uploaded. But still if it is scary to you, don't use it :D
  4. Seems like OP got a headstart, this idea is really awesome the more I think about it. And this idea alone would give you 10.000 endorsements on Nexus haha :
  5. What about you have a nightmare of Alduin destroying Skyrim. This would certainly make you more aware of the need to finish him... Unfortunately scripting I am unable to do... I can mess around with the CK (houses, custom followers) but that is it. Maybe there is someone who can set-up the basic message system for you to play with. For a skilled script modder wouldn't take too much time I thinks.
  6. Robberfox : certainly worth a shot, I don't think i'd mind...thanks! Laereal : I did, but uninstalled...maybe it is still in my savegame, so that could be another thing of note. Hmmm...another idea would be to decrease time to sandbox perhaps.....
  7. That sounds a really good idea. Probably very doable, the dream sequences need to be made though, that will take a bit of work, but maybe at first just scenes you visit (like Sovngarde, or some other beautiful place) But the basic premise is great.
  8. Here is a link to that modest Skyrim mod : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=19338
  9. Hi everyone, I am currently in a RP where I am not the Dragonborn. My follower however (or any NPC) looks at me -the whole damn time- It's not natural, it's some evil daedric spell even! I tried searching but I didn't find a mod that addresses this. Not sure if it is even possible to have my follower look around a little bit to maybe other markers on the map (outdoors), or other NPCs nearby (indoor) Love to hear what others think or know about this, and if there is a 'market' for such a mod. Thanks
  10. If I remember, underwear is just a texture which you can edit in Photoshop, so just paint more underwear with the clone tool. Deadly trio mod has a great female armor that is both practical, supremely 'modest' and could be realistic (not the helmet though)

  12. Yeah, it would be more realistic if only certain social groups know who you are. Nobility, Guards, Some shopkeepers/merchants, some Bandit groups, most Wizards. This is why I like inconsequential NPCs, they don't give a hoot who you are :)
  13. That's a great RP idea there OpenWorldAddict, Feel free to not use the console, but it really is the only way to do it. It ain't hard. But when I start games I often choose not to learn the console (to keep me from cheating) but typing "help" and then any word of an object you want it is pretty easy. You get a code, leather armor has "0003619E" code you type code like : player.additem 0003619E 1 and boom you have one leather armor set. Close console with ~ key and you are off! Because it is so easy, I don't see Mod Makers do it anytime soon. But maybe you can suggest it to the author of Alternative Start Mod?
  14. My HP doesn't let me update drivers, I am still stuck with some old version. :/
  15. @crowness : please go the "Mod Detectives" thread, you'll have a much better chance of finding help
  16. Hard to say, I would by hunch say it to be a missing texture issue, or another mod is overwriting default settings. Both containers and dead bodies are "activators", so the texture/shader responsible for that remains visible instead of turning 'off'. Have you tried turning off all mods?
  17. That does look epic. Subscribing!
  18. Hi, do not mess with the uGrid, 7 is the max and even that could set you up for freezes and weird stuff! So many tutorials recommend it, but it is OLD info. There is a whole video on youtube about the ugrid (i think it was gopher) Instead increase the Lod and draw distance in the ini file. Next, an Enb doesn't crash the game unless it taxed your system and couldn't load all in time. Try a performance ENB -- and tweak the settings in INI, it aint that hard... I use performanceXP on a laptop and it is worth it.
  19. Not sure what you mean but outside houses are a mesh made in 3D, interiors work like lego. You could probably use interior meshes to build an outside though...
  20. The only thing I was able to figure out that it is part of a Witcher conversion set (the texture in trousers seem very Witcher like) Well, the screenshot is from "The Witcher 2 Models": http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/5588/? However, the short cape is definately NOT included in any of the downloads there and it has been asked (yet not answered) multiple times on that file page where the short cape is from. I was playing yesterday, and I found the "Seadog's cape" , which is most likely from my Immersive Armors I am using, it is the same as the image you shown, BUT it is a lot longer. Maybe it is an adaption from Immersive Armors, or there is a short cape in there...
  21. Two things : first make sure you turned on all plugins for racemenu in nmm/mo Second, you need to check the racemenu plugin box under the build button in bodyslider (and build your body) its easy to miss.
  22. Also don't fast travel all the time, at the very least do a 50/50, because there is so much that happens on the road (tons of quests and stuff to discover) There are mods that change encounters as well. A bonus is that you actually get the sense of real travelling back. (Use campfire to stay somewhere overnight, and darker nights overhauls)
  23. Yes uGridstoLoad is not a good way to increase view distance, it creates memory problems, there is a great tutorial on youtube to see what is the difference, instead you can edit viewdistance values and lod values for the same effect.
  24. I found an ENB I can run, on my three year old laptop, with AO even... For laptops for sure you need the Injector version, try that. I use ENB 0.113 with PerformanceXP ENB. I can even run AA hardware with my card. I turned of HD textures, gives you a few FPS, and thanks to ENB textures still look silky and sharp on a 1360px laptop screen. Out of many this setup is the only that has worked sofar.
