  1. More Big Brother nonsense that needs to be nipped in the bud. When it starts happening here in the U.K. though, I forsee the perfect excuse for dole-wallahs(the permanently unemployed) - oh I couldn't take the job 'coz 'e wanted me Facebook account, innit, invasion of me privacy, innit. They'll never work again!
  2. I saw a documentary once which showed bushmen sleeping on their sides while propping up their heads with one arm. I bet their's felt pretty numb the next day day too. I wouldn't worry unless you start getting numbness during the daytime.
  3. You're gonna need a turbo bolted on as well if you're gonna reach 88 miles an hour in that thing, lol.
  4. Glad to see things are better. But take steps to avoid further depression. Remember you're only twenty years old. Still fifty five years till you retire, lol. I messed about in school and didn't even get to uni, at least you got to have that experience. You should move. Cape Town, with all it's beauty and splendor is notoriously depressing. Especially with winter coming. All that rain. Drink some Delheim wine. Also some mampoer. Chased with witblitz. You'll feel better soon. It could be a lot worse. You could be middle-aged, bald and fat, living in dreary England. Like me. So say voetsak to that depression and grab hold of your life with both hands. Totsiens meneer.
  5. If he did win, would you call him Dr President? What is it with people called Ron anyway? Ron Paul, Ron L. Hubbard....:psyduck:
  6. I have never bought a new 360 game yet. Their just too expensive. If they don't allow 2nd hand games on the 720, I won't be buying one . And I doubt I'll be alone. So at the end of the day, it means less money for Microsoft. Now Microsoft just loves money. It's their favorite thing in the whole wide world :woot:. I just can't see them doing anything to jeapordise that flow of lovely money :geek:. On the other hand, PC virus manufacture will be quiet for a few months as all the hackercrackerjacks will be busy trying to crack the 720 to sell pirated games ;D.
  7. Looks like Button has it all sewn up. <groan> @jim_uk I bet you watched it on Sky

    Wisdom teeth

I had 4 out when I was 20 (2up, 2 down). I elected to be put under for the op. When I awoke, I felt terrible and extremely thirsty and pretty confused. After about half an hour I felt better and an hour later I was fine. I'm still confused 20 years later though, lol. Anyway, don't worry about it, modern dentistry is far removed from the bad old days of torture and I'm sure you'll be fine. Good luck :ohdear::facepalm::thumbsup: P.S. without wisdom teeth, you may be unable to attain the rank of Jedi Master. Ask for them back, just to be safe
  9. I collect Teddy Bears and put them around my lairs, er, homes. Also, after a few years of playing, I can't be arsed with realism so I use FNVEdit to increase damage from modded weapons and increase/add DT on clothing/armor; not to godmode propotions, say vanilla +20% so I can have a comfortable blast-fest.
  10. Do you have any mods which place objects in the basement? I had the same inky blackness immediately after entering when I had a mod which placed a machine gun in there somewhere. Unfortunately it was a long time ago and I've forgotten which mod it was.
  11. If my mother was still alive she'd give me a good old fashioned clip round the earhole if I tried, lol.
  12. Came across this the other day and thought "Way to go guys - if you ain't got it, make it" - just shows what humans can do if they put their minds to it. http://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/ff385/Dazasterous/Dazasters2nd/white-trash-repairs-there-i-fixed-it-i-highly-doubt-this-is-regulation.jpg
  13. It's a scientific fact that the current Y chromosome is faulty and will eventually fail altogether. Nature is already at work producing altered X chromosomes to replace it resulting in more, um, butch females which will become the new male. So the species as it is now has about 1000-3000 years left before becoming Human 2.0.
  14. That's an idea, however Patrick Stewart is probably too old to play Captain Picard now; and, as I have the exact same hairstyle, I would have to do it. Although my pot belly in 3D would probably frighten the kiddies!:tongue:
  15. Sorry Lazuri, got to disagree with you on this one, there's already a limit on how many images one can upload per day and a time limit will stop people who want a sequence of pictures together to tell a story; plus it will annoy people like me who sometimes upload 2 or 3 completely seperate images then stop.
  16. I'm getting a few on the New Vegas image share section when trying to go back from viewing an image.
  17. Wow that was quick. All working now, thank you.
  18. Don't know if this is the same or related problem but when trying to download NMC's texture pack from NVNexus, the London server(non premium) shows no users and brings up an error when clicked. The USA servers work fine(downloading now). The texture pack is three 1GB files. Going to another mod with, say, 2mb to 400mb and the London server shows 5-800 odd users and downloads fine.
  19. Hello all I'm not getting any images coming up to the left of the filename after a search on any sites except Skyrim Nexus. The place holder appears with three little coloured circles for a second or two then disappears. Was working fine Thursday. Checked settings and 'display images' is still set to 'on'; and as I said, they show fine on Skyrim. Using Firefox 10.0 and Windows 7 64. Any idea's or is it a temporary thing? Thanks.Just tried resetting my browser cache but no difference http://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/ff385/Dazasterous/nopic.jpg
  20. Excellent stuff, just like the first one. Next up, horse-riding - I want to see the Skyrim-disappearing-horse-as-camera-get's-too-close trick
  21. After purchasing Skyrim last month and finding it doesn't really like just 2GB ram I decided to get some more which means upgrading to 64bit windows. So this weekend I've done the deed and now everything is up and running again. I have two hard disks, one for Windows and programs, the other for games. The games one had 20GB left out of 300, so decided to re-format that one for a clean start. Before doing so, I just had a quick look at what was on and how much space they were taking up. In the Bethesda Software folder was 3 games, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. Bare in mind that Christmas 2010 I had a motherboard failure and did a re-install back then so the folder would be a little over a year old. The folder was 72GB!!! If the games are about 6.5GB each, lets say 20GB for all three, thats 52GB of mods, 99% of which have been downloaded from the Nexus. Thats just 3 games. I didn't check Dragon Age 2 or the Witcher games or Skyrim but I've downloaded ton's of stuff for them too. As I've been a member here since 2006 when I first bought Oblivion, I can't even imagine how much stuff I've downloaded in all, probably a couple of terabytes at least. Boggles the mind, especially if you're a middle-aged gamer like me and can remember that the hard disk on my first ever PC was just 20MB!! Ahh well, here's to another 6 years of modded goodness
  22. There are other options such as liquidation auctions where you might be able to pick up a bargain, or look at a refurbished PC online. As a first step though, I'd find a small local dealer and talk to them about a bundle deal. Explain money is tight and ask for the best possible price on his cheapest range. Most local dealers would rather make a little profit than none at all. Even the cheapest modern components will blow your current rig out of the water. You're going to need: a motherboard - cpu, ram to fit that board and a graphics card, so with the cheapest stuff, say around $160 -$200
  23. @LadyMilla Thanks. I'll do that. @SubjectProphet Then why all the "no nudity" restrictions? Follows that foul language shouldn't be tolerated either.
  24. Click on your start menu, find 'my computer', right click it, select 'properties'. The info in there will tell you if your running 32 or 64 bit. If you're adding more ram, I recommend changing to Windows 7 64 bit or else the operating system may not see it.
