  1. For my male Argonian I always used the Ancient Nord armor, Mistic Tuning Gloves (They look cool, I don't care if they don't do much) and Leather Boots. Favorite outfit ever. Female, I just use Thieves' Guild armor, full Ancient Falmer, and Nightingale.
  2. So many quotes  OH DEAR GOD. It's over 9000. Is this legal ? Oh dear god. And yet it still lives What have we done? Everything!
  3. Granted, but your mouth is sewn half shut. I wish I could lucid dream more often.
  4. Valve has apparently said that the site isn't theirs, but L4D3 has been confirmed.
  5. The only thing that I would get this for is because of the 'new' engine, I really didn't like either of the L4D games. I hope this one is better.
  6. If you were in the UN (not representing any country), and a vote was cast to see who would speak for the entire population, what country would you pick? Which one of the branches would you choose of that country, eg Congress, the President, Prime Minister, Parliament, the Queen, Cardinals, the Pope, etc. Why did you go with that choice? What do you think their agenda would be? (this is also assuming we can communicate freely with the aliens for whatever reason, and able to understand one another)
  7. Hoof, that's actually a really good idea. The best of both worlds! And on the story, if I ever had to introduce the Fallout series to someone who's never played before, I'd go with Fallout 3, just because your background in the game would make much more sense, neither you nor the Lone Wanderer (essentially 'you' anyways) know about what's really going on outside the vault, and I remember the first time I left 101, I wasn't expecting perfectly normal society but it was still a shocker for me.
  8. Yet you only took one small part of the entire response, and called the rest (I doubt you even read it's entirety) out, based on what? That your actions are just as bad as his? His actions are trying to prevent somebody completely unrelated to him to stop what they want to do, so you are going to do the exact same thing? You're trying to use a flamethrower to put out a burning building. Your freedom of speech does not include denying others the right to their freedom of speech.
  9. Well, Bethesda CAN do whatever they want since they own the name, and I would prefer future games to be more retro-futuristic, anticommunist nuclear everything than the extremely dull and lifeless cowboy flick that Obsidian did. Growing up with things like the Iron Giant, Full Throttle (the game, not the drink), Dark Forces and Captain America instead of Clint Eastwood is probably to blame, although I don't think NV is absolutely horrible. I play it more (obviously with mods, my load orders ar enever shy of 150) and it seems much more stable, but I stay away from the main storyline unless I have to do something in it for a mod or whatever. And the DLC for NV was good, but not nearly as good as Fallout 3. Especially The Pitt and Point Lookout.
  10. I actually loved the main story of FO3 in comparison to NV. NV was just, like I said, politics. No sense of good or evil, everything was neutral in terms of morality. Fallout 3 was fun, and kept me interested and on my toes wondering what I would find and wandering around discovering new places, quests that actually felt like you did something, and had actual morality. NV felt so linear it seemed like I was playing Eternal Ring again.
  11. It's just so bland, so boring. If this is what the original games where like, I'm glad I was only 4 years old when they came out. Sure, the gameplay elements (except the perk every two levels) were superior to Fallout 3, but at least FO3 was fun, and interesting. I understand that most people think that the writing was terrible in comparison, but the only writing that was better in NV were the companions. The Capital Wasteland felt like a post apocalyptic wasteland, but the Mojave just felt like an outdated Clint Eastwood movie with hints of Walker Texas Ranger. Excruciatingly boring. I did like the political stuff going on with the factions, but there was just too much grey morality. Realistic? Well, yeah, but if I wanted realism in a video game I would be playing Flashpoint. And that game sucks.
  12. I want textures that aren't 512x512, and I want it to be 64 bit. And to be able to have an uncapped RAM usage, or at least cap it to whatever you want.
  13. I googled 'ben drowned shiro' and there was a german guy reading a story called "Ben without eyes" (I googled the ben ohne augen and Chrome translated it) His Youtube name was Shiro something. I think we have a conspiracy!
  14. Creepypastas never really get to me, but this is just a whole different level of creepy.
  15. I saw a video about gaming myths and it mentioned the Majora's Mask 'BEN drowned' creepypasta (yes, I know it isn't real, duh) and said that if you ask Cleverbot who Ben is, it will say he drowned. So, I went and tried that. Then I asked it's name, and it told me I was already dead (lol) But the weird part was that when I looked back after I got another response, it replaced that line with the previous one. Weird, huh? Should I watch out for Shiro Bob-The-Builder?
  16. Just because of his personal views, which have NOTHING to do with the media he creates, (look at the Lovecraft example) are automatically trash? You also portray slight bigotry toward other beliefs and opinions. I don't agree with Card but I'm not going to say he's a disgusting person. I'm sure that there's people even in WBC that are quite good people. Feelings don't make the person. The only thing that most boycotts (like this) do is make a statement that "These people are judgmental so it's okay for me to be judgmental and that makes me a better person than them" It's just acting out of spite, and that's never a good thing to do, regardless of the cause. And calling ANYBODY less than human is stupid. Everybody is entitled to their own beliefs whether or not you agree with them. It's a fact of life and you should acknowledge that there is no 'right' way of thinking. Just what cultures are accustomed to. He was probably raised to think this, so it's perfectly normal and rational in his own eyes. All in all, he's fighting for a cause that he thinks is right, just let him! Society these days isn't going to allow him to go through with it of course, but he's still allowed to think his own thoughts as you and the rest of humanity are.
  17. All I can do is texturing and modeling. Not so much anything else. I figured it would be some sort of CK thing.
  18. Is it possible to be able to add an effect like this to weapons when they're swung? Any idea how this could be implemented?
  19. If only it was an engine other than Unity :( I used it so much and I just can't STAND it.
  20. Back when I played this on the 360, a friend and I were in Conquest on Grand Bazaar. Found a little corner store with shelves and everything, broke the glass and just sat there. I got the idea to just place C4 everywhere, and he put his anti-tank mines. We had the explosives specialization too, and we just walked away to cap some objectives. Well, we would have, until a random tank will all the slots filled managed to drive into the store, causing a HUGE explosion. Killed everyone in the tank, but we somehow survived. It was really epic.
  21. Well all the games that I have weren't able to run without starting Steam. Especially when I tried with NV and Skyrim, using NVSE and SKSE doesn't do it. Of course I have internet now, but when I first moved my PC to the new house I had no connection so I could use Steam fine, until after two weeks (I didn't move into this house entirely right away) I couldn't play any of my Steam games. It worked as soon as I did some tweaking with the router that the cable guy installed.
