  1. What are your system specs, including your monitor? And do you use an ENB?
  2. I can only hope that my Emilie didn't hear you say that. You wouldn't like her when she's angry. IDK why there is any more issue when making Bretons than with any other race, especially if you get some decent face and body textures. And don't you have to have a particular skeleton installed to use the height altering features of the RaceMenu mod?
  3. Please post your mod list so we can see if you have any incompatibilties, just as fiewiel has suggested.
  4. Oh yes we are...and the Coalition is now beginning to panic. Not that they can or will do anything about it now.
  5. I would avoid it too. I have a beast of a system, but choose not to run an ENB. Not necessary when you can use a combo of RCRN, Enhanced Lights and FX, Imaginator and nice texture packs. But with a lesser system, an ENB would be really asking for trouble.
  6. Here in the UK, things are clearly going down the tubes, our credit rating got downgraded. I am surviving because of the goodness of family and friends. There are two problem groups in the employment stakes - youth with no experience and the over 50's who scare the wotnot out of the people interviewing because they have more experience than they do. I'm in the latter group.
  7. Ahem... you need to make it Hearthfires.bsa The end s is important, that's what I have in there.
  8. They know where they can put that idea.... Since I'm out of work, it's out of the question. Simples.
  9. I do wish you luck. I have now had TWO Skyrim installs trashed by Steam updates, the most recent when it snuck back online after a PC reboot. You MAY find that you can still use your old saves.
  10. With apologies, I was too stunned to remember to toggle the menu;- http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l255/janepreddy/Morrowind2013-02-2519-23-35-56_zpsf3b72458.jpg This with the latest Morrowind Graphics Overhaul. Droolz.
  11. I think it would seem wise, if you have Dragonborn, not to use ANY mods that interfere with Dragons in any way. I have never used them, and the only souls I can't absorb are , which is just as the game intends.
  12. Steam is certainly behaving oddly. Every time I reboot the computer it wants to update. I have not so far had any trouble with Skyrim except that it also decided to update whilst I was playing the other day and crashed the game, luckily the save was retrievable. I am pretty sure Steam may be at the root of problems here.
  13. Nor can I, and that does not please me. And yeah, the posting forms are...eeuuuuwwww..... And I still can't view the Forum Rules And Strikes.
  14. Yes I have found the same thing as jim_uk. AND I can't see all sections of the forums, for example there is a problem with the forum rules and strikes.
  15. I just got Dragonborn and before starting Skyrim with it active, I made sure to get the Unofficial Dragonborn Patch and use BOSS to beat up my load order. On starting the game, before going to Solstheim I first took my char to kill the dragon at Northwind Summit. My girl absorbed the soul with no issues. I had no problem with the arrival at Raven Rock by boat either...
  16. Thank goodness for that. The QTE's were the only thing that took the shine off Witcher 2 for me, as my arthritic fingers cannot react quickly enough. I literally had to get a friend to send me a save game that was at a point just past the QTE as I could not progress past it.
  17. So this Lifetime Premium Member would like to know please;- Since I do use Adblocker (I have a very good reason for this after a bad experience elsewhere)and your code will probably pick this up, will I get throttled despite being a Premium Member? Yay I know I do not get ads anyway, but the Adblocker would still get picked up by your code. Do Premium Members who don't endorse everything still get throttled?
  18. To be honest Tolkien did not invent the concept of elves as fairer than mortal man - he drew his inspiration from a variety of Northern European mythology, which I also identify with. So my cultural background makes me think of elves/fairies as fairer than mortal man - boggarts, spriggans, knockers and brownies on the other hand tend to be a lot uglier and mainly seen when you have had far too many flagons of mead, ale or scrumpy. Bethesda can do what they like but I don't have to enjoy my elves looking like wrinkly old prunes and reserve the right to mod the fuglies out. Although it always seemed odd that in earlier games Barenziah and Morgiah were total knockouts in the eyes of humans too, yet the way the elves have been done in Skyrim, they'd look ugly. Hehe...Bosmer are short, cannibalistic tree hugging xenophobes which is why I invariably give them vampire fangs...
  19. I used to have that problem. However, I think 1.8 has fixed it as my Skyrim is up to date and I no longer have the issue. So my advice is to update Skyrim.
  20. Try opening Steam->Settings (the menu towards the top left) and click on the Account tab. It looks to me like you can change the contact email address from there.
  21. That EULA would certainly get laughed out of court here indeed, jim_uk. But then so would Bethesda's...
  22. Because size isn't everything XD. I'm with Renn on this one. I remember a friend making me a mod for Oblivion that lowered the aggression factor of all wild creatures, as we are both country folk and felt that psycho rats and wolves were redonkulous. Having spent time in the arctic region of Sweden, I have observed that wolves howl a lot but are unlikely to have you for dinner. Bears on the other hand...if you go down in the woods today, pack a darn great rifle just in case.
  23. Glad I caught this thread and put Steam offline!
  24. SERIOUSLY? Listened to the Bolshevik Broadcasting Corporation lately? A constant stream of selective reporting of issues to promote left wing bias and blacken the reputation of the Conservative government (as if they weren't doing a good enough number on themselves...) And I know that left wing media the world over is every bit as capable of spewing out hatred and bile as the right wing.
  25. Oh yes, some of that graffiti in Pompeii is pretty filthy (we did Latin at my school, hehe, and the willies scrawled around don't need any translation), which gives some idea of how roistering Roman society really was. Right from the ordinary citizen up to the Emperor. Far too outright rude for Hollywood - sorry to my friends in the US for us exporting so many of our Puritans over there, only for their descendants three hundred years later to clean up the Hollywood version of the randy Romans... Seriously, even the supposedly prim and proper Brits - I speak of the society that I know the best - have actually been anything but for most of their history. I studied Chaucer at school too - Lord those nuns were broad minded - that certainly depicts medieval society as pretty darned bawdy. We did have a brief period of Puritanism with 'orrible Ollie Cromwell and his gang...and it was sooooo boring that we had perhaps our most famously playboy monarch Charles II next. We didn't get prim and proper again until Victorian times, and that was only on the surface, because the sex was all hidden away didn't mean it wasn't there. And some of the stuff going on was deeply disturbing, especially when you think that the age of consent for girls was 12. Fancy, you can't blame video games for THAT. So this is why, quite frankly, I find the OP way over the top and taking naughty game mods far too seriously. Sorry, must be going. My mischievous little Breton must go and steal the clothes of those nudie bathers in the Skyrim hot springs...
