  1. At a lower level i wouldn't bother wearing boots unless they improve your stealth, but i also like to RP crazed people who throw their shoes at people......
  2. 1: IDK 2: Damages are not localized, hitting them anywhere is the same. 3: Only if your also in stealth mode. 4: This one is about personal preference, i get more stamina so i can GTFO if sh*t goes down, some people might want more health to deal with said sh*t. 5: It's all relative to the weight of your armor in total (i think, probably wrong) 6: Definetly 7: Stays on your weapon till you attack with it. Put it on your dagger and bow. 8: ummm..... 9:Yes
  3. When a question like this pops up i like to just point people towards the UESP and let them figure it out for themselves.
  4. I believe i recall something like this was done quite unsuccesfully for oblivion. Someone might attempt such a feat for skyrim.
  5. My game has only crashed once in my 100 and something hours played, and i've suffered nearly no bugs and glitches. EDIT: Darn it i was beaten to the punch. Internets to you my friend.
  6. Lol, I was pretty certain i was seeing a fair deal of equal sex participation in skyrim hold on let me look. Yep, lets see in one dungeon most of the forsworn were women. That blacksmith (commonly a male job in RPGs) in .... that place can't remember it's name, well that blacksmith was a woman. There was a female child who wanted to be a blacksmith somewhere else. I think i've seen at least one female Jarl. I have no idea how many of them are female. And then looking back in the lore there was a good amount of female dragonborns. OT: the op mentioned somewhere that she/he assumed they were remarking the oblivion protagonist as a male, i don't think in any of the tomes i've read on the oblivion crisis they mentioned the hero being male, i believe they referenced the hero as, prisoner, and hero of kvatch.
  7. Up your skill and use more powerful souls.
  8. Some of us are crazy and actually enjoy reading the books we find. Guilty party here :P
  9. "P" Can be used to open up your magic menu, or if you hit "Tab" you can open it up and scroll to magic on the right. Left clicking with your mouse applies that spell to your right hand, and right click applies the spell to your left hand.
  10. "Lazy" doesn't mean you don't do anything, it means you don't put much effort or enthusiasm into the things you are doing. Some of the content in Bethesda's games are just plain flawed. It might be deliberate, it might not. I'm not saying that Bethesda has gotten complacent but the possibility is there. The option to release the game quickly and let modders pick up the pieces will be far more enticing for publishers and their shareholders than if they were to spend an extra year kinking out all the bugs and polishing up the game, making it better on the day. So many games today are released with a massive amount of bugs. Some of these things are game-breaking and are so blatantly obvious it really does beg the question: Do these companies actually have a working QA team or not? Skyrim was released with a 1.1 patch on the release day. For this to happen there must've been some pretty hefty bugs. Many of them were related to performance. The fact they had to release this patch on release, rather than fixing them during development, doesn't look good on their part. Developers don't seem to realise that they waste so much more time than they need to when they're sitting there working on a patch for an older game rather than working on a new game. They waste so much time fixing bugs that should've been caught during QA testing in development, because if they were, they'd have saved so much time. Honestly i think it's a little sickening nowadays that people expect perfect games upon release. Development teams aren't making 8 bit platformers anymore mate, sure they could go another year of debugging but then that has it's own problems. Budget, corporate a-holes. Theres always going to be reasons to push back the release same as there is always a reason to release now. And for me Skyrim is running perfect, it looks great i haven't ran into any glitches or bugs that upset me.
