Because it is possible to nuke a location that you don't know right? If you are just kidding around you posted it in the wrong section.
-
Have you considered they might just want to extend their power program? Or maybe they are making nukes, so what? Do you really think they will use one even if they had one? The only defense against a nuke is another nuke. If they used a nuke we both know Iran would be reduced to rubble. The only use Iran would have with a nuke is for defense purposes. And no, they won't sell nukes to terrorists. That is also a sure way to get destroyed. Terrorists probably couldn't even use one considering they haven't managed to attack the US for over a decade.
-
Is there any real evidence they are building nukes? I don't even get why the discussion is "Iran is probably getting nukes, lets talk about how to deal with it." The media sure must be hammering that hard. In my opinion, no one in the US really cares about nukes, they just want to make Israel happy.
-
As much as I like Iran and the Iranians (visited Tehran in the early 60's) they are our biggest near east foreign policy headache and we will have to deal with their desire to become another nuclear power BEFORE they actually put a weapon in operational status, since after will make our desires moot. Just being pragmatic, though I wish that was not necessary but probably it will be. Bad at diplomacy? Having issues with people who won't bow down to everything you say, and might actually want what is best for their country? Why not start wars!

I don't really think Iran is a threat. North Korea maybe, but they have like two nukes right now, and they are small ones. I don't think world leaders are stupid, they just act that way on purpose. They do what they do to make money, and if there is a nuclear war there is no money.
-
I seriously doubt that a nuclear war would happen. People aren't that stupid. Kinda hard to make money when everyone is dead.

You can't make the entire earth a game. That is impossible with modern technology. Not enough processing power, it would take up thousands of terabytes of data, not to mention it would take years to even come close to making a similar land mass of the same size and shape.

Meh, I didn't know they were held at gunpoint, that is a bit excessive.

Can't watch the video right now, but this is the case were the officers pulled over a bunch of people to find a bank robber right? I don't know why people are so worked up over this. It might of been a bit of a mistake, but it really isn't that bad. To my understanding, the car the bank robber used was heading in that direction so police blocked off the road and searched all of the vehicles on that road.

Looks like Walker isn't having much trouble buying out votes. Though that is only for Walker. I can almost assure you Obama will win a second term.
-
But there are clearly people who do think that there is a serious threat, just based on some comments here. I am not saying it is largely the fault of the people, I am just saying that it would get a bit better if everyone recognized that there was no threat.
-
So MB was right, the source was from an Islam hate site. There is no real terrorist threat, and the TSA has no reason to be worked up about it. My previous point was because of people like Aurielius freaking out over a false threat. If these people calmed down, I am pretty sure the TSA would also calm down a bit. Not justifying their actions, but I am trying to say it is partly the fault of the people. If terrorists could, they would have been able to do a large attack already. Our northern border is fairly insecure. Our ports are not nearly as secure as our airports. You can get guns and explosives inside of the USA without much issue. Securing airports does nothing, and if you seriously think that there is a terrorist problem you are a threat to the civil liberties of everyone. The way the citizens and the government reacted to 9/11 is a bigger threat to the people of the United States then anything a terrorist could do.

Should the Thalmor be put to sword?

They are Nazi elves, what do you expect people to think? -
There are some downsides to Bethesda, but they are a pretty good PC dev when compared to the other companies out there. Pretty much the only company left that actually gives modding tools. Bethesda is not the best company to complain about. CDProject is also a really good PC dev too though. They are both some of the best PC companies in the industry right now.

Top ten reasons a zombie apocalypse would fail
marharth replied to SubjectProphet's topic in Off-Topic
No one actually thinks there is going to be a zombie apocalypse, they are just joking about it. Although I think I will reply anyways. 10. Could be walking dead style, where it is airborn and triggers when you die. 9. CDC centers only work if a few people are infected in one area. If you have the virus widely spread quickly, a CDC center won't help at all. 8. People wouldn't take that lightly, and would probably make things worse. People would just riot and more people would end up dying. 7. That isn't really known for sure. Either way, walking dead style. You reanimate a minute or so after you die. 6. The virus could cause metabolism to drastically slow, decreasing blood flood and decreasing the food requirements. 5. Zombies probably wouldn't be in hot areas, since humans wouldn't stay alive in hot areas for long due to bad vegetation and lack of hunting. 4. It might start just after winter, in that case a entire year might be enough time for a entire apocalypse. 3. The virus could spread to some animals as well. 2. If it spreads quickly, won't be enough time. 1. Everyone doesn't always have a gun at all times. Most people do not. Just because you have a gun in your house, does not mean you won't be infected outside of your house. -
no. edit: haha I wasn't going to allow myself to be dragged into this, but since when do schools not teach how to balance a checkbook? They did when I was in school and they still do in my local area. It's regularly a math project. During my years in public school in both North Carolina and California, neither has taught how to balance a checkbook. That was only a few years ago though, and pretty sure public schools have been changing quite a bit.

Pretty sure he is saying that he wants to make a lot of the world into a game. Maybe, but put the project on hold for a hundred years or so and come back.

Is the story or anything even confirmed? A bit hard to make a build without knowing what your going to be dealing with.
-
I am the same with RTS games. I love RTS games, but I am terrible at them and rarely play them.
-
Diablo 3 was a huge fail. Sorry to any Blizzard fanboys, but the story was not as good as D2, and the crazy DRM is worse then something EA would do. This issue is happening due to the crazy DRM right? A singleplayer game shouldn't have issues with a server.
-
Your classification made no sense. Casual means you don't play games much and just do it for fun. Hardcore gamer means you play games a lot, and get seriously involved with games. It has nothing to do with genre or "winning". Getting seriously involved in RPG games makes more sense then getting seriously involved with FPS games. RPG games are more immersive and you end up sinking a lot of time into them. It is silly to say casual gamers mainly play RPGs.

This. Improving graphics costs development money and time. Focusing on other things would make the final product far better.

I don't even understand why they do this. Surely they would get better ratings if they put on actual history? Does anyone actually watch the stupid shows where people cut down trees, drive trucks, or fish? Like seriously?

I am getting a bit annoyed at people blaming Bioware for things that are really the fault of EA. Not really directly related, but just thought I would put that out there. Also looks like its just the MMO team. Might not be the fault of Bioware either. Was probably EA who told them to make a WoW clone.

Wondering if this works on custom mounts. I assume it does, but can anyone confirm?
