daft question what playback device and what audio device are you using is the machine configured correctly ie stereo or surround sound 5.1 , 7.1 to suit the playback device ?

have you tried restoring defaults for controls ? failing that delete the .ini files in your docs folder and any custom config for controls txt docs seem to recall one in maybe skyrim folder after messing with control config

the PSU has no idea what its powering. AMD, Intel, etc. its just a marketing thing. yeah thats right all electricty is exactly the same no fluxuation or change in frequency why do you suppose oscilloscopes were invented ,and given the fact there is no difference in the price of equilivalent AMD/Intel psu im more inclined to beleive what i was taught in college than your "just a marketing thing" that and my own experience of customers saying " it worked well enough for the first 6 months until i ...."

well if its not a mod , or an update from steam causing it have you changed your keyboard or mouse ?

@pullthepin07 id get a PSU thats also suitable for my CPU that one in your final link is for intels according to its spec and if i read right your mobo is a AMD FM2 socket ? the wattage on the socket is way higher for an AMD than an Intel based machine.

just a hunch here but its not a flash player issue is it ? i know some if not most games now switch between modes for cut scenes such as the one you mention and either employ the bink video player (very common) or other forms of media playback programs ,might be worth digging a little deeper .

the simplist thing to do here is to start a new game with default .ini's get through the first quest "escape" make a save BACK UP the save and original .ini's then do the editing but dont save untill you are happy with the stability/performance when you are ahppy its stable and lush looking then save the game and BACK UP those modified ini's where steam cant touch them .

STOP USING THAT CARD WITH THAT BOARD RIGHT NOW ! well if you havn't already figured it out its simply a case of incompatible hardware you mobo has PCI 2.0 expansion slot your GPU is listed as a PCI 2.1 compatible card if it was the other way around you would have backwards compatibility ie a 2.1 board and a 2.0 card will run but not like you are doing this is VERY BAD its my understanding that the voltages carried by the varying revisions of the PCI interface differ greatly and has the potential to seriously harm your machine .

these APU's are a new breed thats yet to be tamed ,have you updated the bios and or chipset driver package ? the wrong ROM file for the bios will cause noticable performance loss as does the wrong chipset drivers ,if you have updated or changed either check that you havn't done it wrong .

if your familar with the CK , this only works with existing npcs not newly created ones, open up CK load required ESP/ESM ,find the character in the object window select edit >character gen parts tab select any of the listed texture files (.dds) and edit the color go nuts so it looks very bright and very distinct slide the "interpolation value " over to the far right (1.0) click ok go back to the object window highlight the same character ,press ctrl+f4 ,when prompted click yes this makes a new .dds file for that char and puts it in your skyrim dir data/textures/actors/characters/facegendata/facetint/skyrim.esm all done problem solved but since using this fix iv gained a weird bug ,now whenever i target any npc via the console for a face rip ,using the SPF XX command all i get is my characters face and not the targeted npc iv uninstalled/reinstalled the CK in the hope of correcting this ,not had time to see if its fixed yet . EDIT its not a bug its me being an idiot SPF save player face doesnt work on npcs does anyone know a command that does ?

to do what you want the safest option would be to simply uninstall steam , this will leave all non vanilla non steam related folders and files in place as for finding the location of any program right click its start menu/shortcut link and select properties its path will be detailed for you and to correctly uninstall any program go to computer where its lists HDD's and optical drives etc on the tool bar at the top you will see a tab "uninstall or change a program" click it then select the program to remove or move easy huh and if the hard drive you currently have steam/skyrim installed to is a viable component for your new machine re-formating isn't always necessary especially if you want to keep your data and the drive is clean of malware etc just delete any unwanted stuff keeping your modded skyrim directory intact ,the rip it out and slap in method is likely to cause issues with registry entries . as for steam backup of saves i beleive thats an "op in" option its OFF by default so you need to do a little googling there best bet by far copy them along with .ini and a list of mods used by them to an external drive/CD DVD or whatever you have ,cos i wouldnt trust steam with a dead hamster let alone my precious save games . do it right first the time cos eventually that keyboard will leave a dent on your forehead !

"Am I just wanting too much from my system with all the mods AND 3D?" could well be the case . have you tried easing the load ,take out those hi-res texture packs even a monster of a system can get choked . id also try limiting the game to 2 cores i7's are known to be problematic with games due to the threading its said an i5 is better suited.

This DLC is rapidly becoming a source of annoyance for many people when i got it i added it to an existing game which plauged me with problems ,so i started afresh and up until today things have been running ...ok . But today " serana " has started doing the sprinters moonwalk teleports instead of walking randomly stays fixed to the spot other times and then the ultimate insult crashes into me knocking me from a mountain top ,and now its looking like the quest " lost to the ages " is also bugged the " reward " is supposed to be magikal but appears to be useless im gonna have to check some more , using the coc command may well drop you into a battle zone due to factions current status id try updating the quest stages you'll need to check wiki for details as im not in the habit of using such fixes .

yeah there is a few fixes for that vamp head body mismatch issue go search the mod pages for something like oh i dunno " vampire skin colour fix "

hmm theres a thought a windows version of steam , might actually get some support i know who id go with given a choice and thats something that seems to of been overlooked by many posters as a gamer i have no CHOICE... i wanna play certain games then i have to agree to steams T&C's on top of the publishers as well as suffering forced updates since rage was patched it hasn't worked on my machine prior to the patch it ran perfectly now many will say AMD/ATI driver issue but id refer you back to " forced updates " thats what broke it not my GPU drivers if only i could roll it back windows has that function ! and thats what steam are frightened of healthy competant competition they know full well their days are numbered can you imagine what it would be like if the creators of the DX pacakges and the VCred packages started a steam like platform id hazard a guess and say it might actually work ,which is why Valve are looking to new areas that MS can't touch like ubuntu slim pickings thankfully not that i dislike linux i just prefer windows , ubuntu is still lacking in many areas. and on the subject of staems 30% cut well thats obscene the company i work for retails both hardware and software we dont even put 30% on hardware (10% we add ) let alone software the whole point of downloading software is to save on those overheads such as bricks and mortar and to pass on the saving to the customer reduce your prices and sell more simple isn't it but no doubt the money monkeys at valve sniffed a larged dollop of moolar and started salavating what started as a seemingly honourable venture 9 years ago has turned out to be nothing more than a money making venture they have no interest in preventing piracy its impossible we all know that .but like fools we all suffer the #### valve drop on us purely because we have no choice if we wanna play the AAA games, stop and think for a moment if i offered you an alternative to steam that was created and run by MS you know those people who provide you with constant updates and support would you still suffer steam ? thats a no brainer really isnt it . david thought he was pretty niffty with his slingshot until goliath turned up in a crash helmet !
