  1. You can still get the normal vampirism same as always, but not Vampire Lord unless you use a console command or a mod that allows it.
  2. I never had that bug, if it's not some mod bug or mod conflict, I would really give the Unofficial Skyrim Patch, and Unofficial Dawnguard Patch (and if you have Hearthfire the Unofficial Hearthfire Patch) a try. There are so many bugs fixed by those, to list them all would take multiple pages. Here's the links to those. Unofficial Skyrim Patch Unofficial Dawnguard Patch Unofficial Hearthfire Patch EDIT:
  3. Links are already there (they all work for me using Firefox), the underlined names. Just click on those or right click and select "open in new tab" or "open in new window".
  4. Just delete those loose files that came with the mod, your original files should still be in the bsa.'s and will load if there's not a loose file to override it.
  5. Here's some links that should do the trick, I haven't tried these though. This is for vampire eyes for normal characters (idk if it is for Dawnguard vamp eyes or the ones pre- Dawnguard) Vampire Eyes - Normal Race.rar And if those are Dawnguard eyes and you want pre- Dawnguard eyes this is a retexture for Dawnguard eyes that changes those to pre- Dawnguard vampire eyes. Dawnguard Vampire Eyes Fix And here's a few extra ones. Glowing Eyes v4 Glowing Eyes Glowing Eyes for Kajiits Dawnguard Glowing Vampire Eye Fix - All Races
  6. I'm just guessing here but I would try to decrease the Light LOD until it was preferable...
  7. That's because the vampire's in Volkihar castle are not actually a <insert race name here>vampire race like the PC or pre- Dawnguard vampires, and another note: Dawnguard changed all human race characters to use the same head textures. I use Better Vampires and you have the ability to "turn" NPC's, because of this if you turn a redguard NPC they will have the white face texture (with the burnt\ dirty face), or turn a red Argonian they will have a washed out looking green face texture.
  8. It can, but there should not be any need AFAIK, Bethesda changed it back to the way loose files will load after files in bsa.'s, sometime back now...
  9. Tried it! and vampires do not move their mouths when talking... EDIT: Every mod I've tried for this doesn't work except that one (fixes the color, but mouths\ lips no longer move).
  10. I just tried it on some items in Volkihar Keep and it worked fine. Make sure to open the console, click on the object (sometimes this can be tricky), type disable and press Enter on the keyboard, and it should work. I was able to do this with individual chairs, and goblets on the table, just remember if you quit your game before it saves those items will be there.
  11. A very big word of advise is to not increase your cell respawn time, it will most likely cause massive save game bloat (your save files keep increasing in size until they are unplayable). I use Wrye Bash and with the Bashed Patch it allows you to tweek cell respawn time for this reason (I use this to reduce times for this). I believe I tried the disable command when playing Oblivion some years back on some furniture in the shack house in the Imperial City and it worked ok (that doesn't mean it will for Skyrim though).
  12. Mekii answered your question. I just thought I'd mention that before you install any more mods, now would be a great time to use a\ multiple mod utilities such as Wrye Bash or Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) for easy installing\ uninstalling mods and BOSS for sorting your load order.
  13. You can can open console click on the item (to get the id) and type disable, I'm not sure if it will just get rid of that specific object or all objects of that type in game. The opposite is to enter <id> enable to get those back, and then you may have to re- add those objects or give those time to re-spawn, other than that AFAIK is to remove those items with the CK (making your own small mod) or using a mod to get what you want.
  14. If you enter it as player.setav shoutrecoverymult 0 it sets your shouts to have no cool down, you should be able to use use player.getav shoutrecoverymult to find out what it's currently set to.
  15. You can rename the save to whatever.ess instead of whatever.ess.bak and your game should recognize it and load it (you may want to copy it then rename the copy).
  16. I use Wrye Bash, it mainly functions similar to NMM, but also has a saves tab for managing saves (and even tells what mods you had active with each save). This however is not done in game, and can be a little overwhelming, but a very powerful utility indeed.
  17. A map plugin could cause that, I use A Quality World Map w\ Roads mod, and it has an optional Clear map add-on that moves the cloud cover higher above the map camera, if so uninstalling the mod properly should fix it. EDIT: here's a link, A Quality World Map w\ Roads EDIT 2: seems to be 1.8 patch issue, here's a link to another thread with this http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/812068-no-more-map-after-18/My link
  18. I was in NO way trying to offend anyone, just thought it sounded cool...
  19. I just had to ask.... (curiosity just killed my kitty)
  20. To which endlessness are you referring ?
  21. Mounted Combat should work with your current character, but only with melee weapons, bows, and crossbows. It will not work with magic equipped.
  22. I believe the problem is that it's not setting your race to the vampire race, this is very common if using custom race mods, as most aren't\ weren't vampire race supported, however this seems to happen frequently with vanilla races too. I'm not sure how to fix it.
