  3. Does anybody know mods which use NIF animation ? (like "Dwarven Mechanical Equipment" or "Dwarven Condenser" or "Dwemer Autoblade")

    Cause i found only those ones.

     

    PS: I wish to try to make some animated statics by myself, but want to know what already done.

     

    There are some vanilla assets that use animations as well. e.g. Dwarven dynamo's and core's.

    But as far as i know, that pretty much covers the (simple) animated items.

     

    Ive ben trying the same thing, but not much success so far...

     

    Edit¹:

    There was also a sword which used a spinning centurion core in it's crossguard, but i cant recall the name. Though that person probably just placed a sword mesh into the centurion core's nif.

    I'm usually rather short on time, so my skills are probably used best on a freelance basis; Doing occasional models and textures for a larger mod shouldn't be a problem, but i prefer smaller mods.

    Long term assignments are less suited for me, due to the lack of time and my ability to retain focus on a single task.

    Btw, Usually the rider's sword has a symbol on the blade, near the crossguard (e.g. Brisingr or Zar'Roc.) Do or dont? if do, then what kind of symbol did you have in mind?

    That mod team is the joining of two seperate mod teams, both striving to recreate alagaesia in skyrim. (ive been part of one of those teams, before they joined.)

    And that sword concept drawn by RelativelyBest does indeed look a lot like some Tamerlein concepts ive seen.

     

    And now that i know what the inspiration was for this sword-concept, i could try yo incorporate that into the model =P

    Though it makes me wonder; will the Po'Tun still be there? or were they eradicated when the isle was conquered? (would be cool to meet them =) )

     

    And you're right when you say its a big and bold project. Different architecture (and equipment?), new land, problems (sounds like quests..). Thats quite the mod you're planning to make.

    Though you do seem to have spent more time on the backstory than most "new land"-mods, which is good imho.

     

    all in all, i think it is feasible to make. Though it might take a long while to get there. and if you do decide to take this mod on, i wish you the best of luck and i can't wait to see how it turns out.

    Well, that looks like something someone could use to make a model... =)

    I'd like to try at the very least.... no promises, just me messing around with the concept of the weapon. :happy:

    So if anyone else thinks he can model this, dont let my foolish attempts stop you! :thumbsup:

  9. i dont know how the console commands fit into a mod, but there was a console command in oblvion that essentially makes a copy of the player.

     

    "Player.createfullactorcopy" - thats the one.

     

    Haven't tested it, but it might work in skyrim too.

     

    Just tried that command out on the console in-game and all I got was a Syntax error- could not parse this line.

     

    Ah, darn it! =( i rembember using that command over and over in oblivion, just to challenge myself by fighting myself =P

    Too bad it doesnt work for Skyrim.

  10. I have a hard time during battle determining who's stormclerk and who's imperial or city guard, could someone please make a mod that makes enemy's glow there colors at night so we know who where fighting!..

     

    In assassin creed you had something called eagle vision that made everyone glow, non hostile would glow white I believe, so something like what was in assassin creed please!..

  11. I played DAO1 and although I wasn't as into it as Skyrim, I miss the 2-hand tree. Mainly the 2-Hand sweep I think it was called. You could do a massive swing, knocking anyone in your range back! In Skyrim this is needed PLEASE.

  12. A couple more swords in the process. Im struggling with bad imagination. Making four swords not look the same is a challanging task for a simple mind like mine.

    I still could use another hand or two. I need someone to edit or make a new kind of giant. If you got an interest for old games, and looking for something to do, I'm sure I could find something for you to do.

     

    If you need a little hand with those blades, i might be able to take a shot at it. Plenty of imagination =) (besides being able to model and texture them on my own)

    Have a look at my sig to get an impression of my works, and lemme know if it looks good enough to let me help.

     

    Also:

    Some sketches i once made for a TC that never got really far. But it might give an impression of my imagination when it comes to swords.

    So of these are also in my weapon resource.

     

     

     

    So, a little WIP on the armor I am making for this mod. Just to see if it can sparkle some interest in helping with the other stuff :)

  13. Yea... Numidium was designed to challenge the Aedra (which is FREAKING POWERFUL) and so as huntsman stated, at its weakest it still allowed Talos for an easy victory over all of Tamriel. So.... To challenge the Numidium, you'd need to be as powerful as a daedra to stand a chance.

     

    Sounds like someone will be in need of a bunch of deadric artifacts :)

    Bring in Dawnbreaker, Spellbreaker, Azura's star, Namira's ring and Ebony mail! =D

     

    But seriously, i like the idea making a boss fight out of the dwemers greatest legacy :)

  14. As of now, skyrim doesnt support non-rigid weapons yet. But once (and maybe if) Bethesda adds the support, lots of weapons like this will pop up all around us :)

    Same will probably happen once more and more people get Dawnguard.
