  1. You will notice improvement with high-res texture mods, if you look in the task manager, but since there are no packs avaible as of yet, you will probably have to wait for that. I recall there is one command concerning the memory size in the ini, that is used safely together high-res texture mods, but i forgot which one it is (ojo's pack on fallout new vegas nexus should have the info in the description tab).
  2. I often have a very annoying sound bug of never ending loops with the companion from azuras shrine. It eats your brain and only fixes itself, when you save and reload again.
  3. A dragon landing on a smalll house in rorikstead, while looking very daunting and breathing fire, he could have taken off with it, im sure. Aranea as a companion. The sightless pit.
  4. Origin per definition is a spyware/trojan. As per their agreement they can do what they want with the personal data on your pc (including medical). This is illegal in most countries. Watch videos on youtube to see how it goes through the files or download process monitor and see it for yourself. Incase you already bought a gamecopy and this software turns out to be illegal in your country, you can return the box and will get an immediate refund.
  5. 2gb+ graphics card will also be usefull for high res texture replacements i believe and also you could potentially do some rendering with it aswell. Deffo would go with Ati/Amd, since i personally belive they are the nicer branch, besides being the longest player in the market, but they are still abit sleeping with the updates as opposed to nvidia, altho they are certainly gonna catch up sooner or later. To tell the truth in the end you cannot go wrong with either one of them. Much of it is details and personal preference. Try tomshardware guide or guru 3d for a more in depth review, if you are interested in.
  6. Besides individual components, make sure you have a nice case, with good, silent cooling, that does not need a screwdriver and ideally has these slots for your hdd to slide in, so it wont transfer the vibrations to the rest of the case. And you also def want to buy a good cooler for your cpu since the stock ones are crap (still after all these years). Ideally it should not be hearable to anyone within the room, so in my case i used a Scythe Mugen 2 and i am not regreting the purchase at all, aswell as the purchase of my case, which is a Lancool (a branch of Lian Li). Of course make sure the graphics card and psu is also silent. Some of those tend to be really loud and in the end you dont wannt mess up your setup! Quiet and quality does not have to be expensive and i believ nowadays it is becoming more and more the norm.
  7. PC, because you will be able to use mods/updates by the community. Somthing i would not want to miss in the future. The engine is like a slightly updated version from fallout new vegas, so your pc and graphics card should have no real issue running the game at high/ultra settings.
  8. I second the request on a helmet toggle mod. My beautifull nordic hair and beard! Bethesda why could you not think of it?
  9. Personally i like the style of the new menu and 3d map. I have no real issues with it. It just needs abit enhanced functionality here and there. For example what i dont like is: You cannot craft just alone through the keyboard. Instead each time have to click yes button with the mouse. I realise this is just one thing of many. Did not know about hotkeys. So this is a plus. As to the freezing cold. Everybody can cast a basic fireball and that amount of magic knowledge should be enough to keep you warm as a hero. Fishing or boat riding (rafting) would be nice. Is there somewhere an epic waterfall drop in this game? I want to try it. Melee combat is wonky, but it kinda always has been that way in their games. ;) If someone can fix it, i will make a statue in my room. Also companions could be much more enhanced. Sadly little personality.
  10. simple: before the game looks into the .bsa files it checks for any files in the data folders and uses that instead. so all you have to do is place your mod file at the appropiate location (outside the .bsa) within skyrims data folder structure. finnito. ps: if you dont know what i mean, take a look at how the nightsky texture mod works. do not ever modify the original .bsa that come with the game. only extract from it.
  11. Some of the textures are pretty low-res, but for now im just gonna enjoy the game. It is of course sad, that the engine is (basicly) still the same. Witcher 2 seems way more capable and at the same time the studio is smaller then bethesda.
  12. http://niftools.sourceforge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3164 You mean the .xml from throttlekitty on the niftools forum?
  13. Buy this game! It is a great experience, but at the same time, im wishing it to be deeper aswell. There are so many open questions, it is maddening as hell. xD  I wonder why there has not been a movie yet. It is a really interesting topic. One that would have to be approached with care. Far more interesting, deeper aswell as more intelligent stuff then any of that other noodle soup out there.
  14. Nice! Thanks for these. Now we want to see it again in full detail with high-res textures on a pc. :P
  15. Export settings, if it is not that, then check the outliner in blender. Maybe there is something funny in there.
  16. I am just coming back from my DAZ3D od(d)yssey. Especially if you have been working in blender before, the unintuitive design and lack of controls are gonna drive you mad. Poser was just as irritating, if not even more. Anyway maybe it will be usefull here: Using Poser / Daz Characters with Blender http://www.blender3dclub.com/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=97 Poser Prop Importer http://www.blender3dclub.com/index.php?name=PPI And then there is a modded .obj script out there, that can import the .2r files directly into blender. Search for it on google. Should not be to hard.
  17. I played the beta and can say, if you loved the original deus ex, it is very, very worth it.
  18. It s*cks you cannot pay over paypal. Yesterday i wanted to pre-order the digital deluxe edition from origin. Now i think it is just to expensive. Basicly it is an horrendously overpriced dlc. A few ingame-items for so much money. But i also exspected as much from EA. Still i will get the game (standard edition) and play it. But only afterwards of release and not from the origin store. PS: Gonna get the Deus Ex Extended Edition Pre-Order instead. Now thats something like a nice game, you can burn your money on. Already played the beta. So sweet. And the price is good on it, too. They are not overcharging like EA.

    Depression

If it is clinical, i dont claim to know what is best, but try to find something that you can enjoy. Learn to communicate with your heart and everything will be alright in your soul. Go to where other people are, that share similar interest and be yourself. Also have the basics in check. Like is there a good nutrition? Does the body get enough movement? Do small things here and there. Never rely on one thing to much. Unbox! Like they do with the unboxing videos. Only let it be yourself. The thing is never to take something for granted. PS. Genes are not a set in stone thing.
  20. We are causing most of our problems, because we choose fear most of the time instead of stepping outside our comfort zone. That just gets us into all kind of diffrent loopholes. Also no one is gonna step out of it, but yourself. It is all self-manufactured. I repeat: All. PS: Crimes happen out of guilt, do they not?
  21. Buy a zero energy house with nice land and then maybe, i dunno, look how to let said money work for me and then try to to do good with it for the 'world' by investing it into more substantial things. But i sure would not be satisfied by just sitting around. I mean if you got so much money , that is a big chance, an obligation to do something good and learn from it, right? Like they say at bioware: "Our core principle is humility." Not sure if its right all the time a one hundred percent. But yeah.
  22. Hi, i am curious folks. How big is your oblivion folder? My backup of it wont be done in another 20 minutes and it shows: Copying 148.100 items (56,2 GB).
  23. Maybe clean your save and then reload it again with the mod loading last? Could be it is not getting the reference or something.
  24. You can only throw away what bagage you got.
  25. What Dark0ne said. *lol* Life goes on. :) The interpretation of older cultures then us, is not always easy and like a game that is in beta testing you should not jump to quickly to conclusions. *cough* Also about some cultures you may NEVER know what was the intent, unless you directly transfer a very clear consciousness into that, kinda like avatar. :D
