Yeah I had same issue. I know it was a load order issue for me. I used BOSS, then after running BOSS manually went over the .esm and .esp order again myself to double check. I did fix it that way, but the exact cause of the issue was my own error...not the mod's. I know I had Climates placed wrong. I switched it to the very bottom of my load order. That. for me, fixed my problem. I'm using 87 mods...and trust me it can be a headache. If need be, I can post my own load order according to BOSS and let you see mine as opposed to your own. But I went and started using Realistic World Lighting instead of Climates....personal choice and by NO MEANS a problem with that most excellent mod.

I remember this now. After looking at your mods. Yeah had the same issue myself adding the "Hunters Shack" near Riften. Whenever I would load up entering the shack, I'd CTD. I stopped having that issue when I changed my lighting Mod from "Climates" to "Realistic" and re-did load order. I'm not saying that's the cause...just letting you know what I did.

I have the same issue. It seems there is a shadowy-radius around my character when walking at dawn or low-light areas...like a dark aura that surrounds me. I was told this is a bloom effect of a type. I used a mod called "Imaginator" and used one of it's presets. That cleared it up for me. I'm just giving you an idea of how I dealt with it. I am also letting you know by this post that your not the only one to have that issue so it's not some singular thing to happen to you only. *As a side note, I also changed to a "Better Enhanced Snow" mod that came with my Realistic Lighting mod. That almost erased my issue.*

Hey Third... Sorry about the trouble your having. Question 1: Are you using BOSS to auto-arrange your load orders? Question 2: What current drivers are you using for your GPU? Question 3: How frequent is the issue? Every time you load up? Or just random?

I hope somebody else CAN and WILL reply Domas cause I hate to see you have to start totally from scratch. I have never used S.T.E.P. (Skyrim Total Enhancement Package I believe it's called) before, so I have no firsthand knowledge of it's usefulness or what it does. I hope somebody else can chime in and offer something up. Fast.

I have had the uninstall from Steam leave things behind which caused me no end of troubles. Steam doesn't always get rid of all it's supposed to. Just as it always wishes to update your mods of it's own accord when such updates are not always needed. When I have to, which has been twice before, had to uninstall Skyrim to start from scratch, I have deleted folders associated with Skyrim totally and have fixed my issues in that manner. Now, as for your saved games your trying to keep, I don't blame you there. What I try to do in such cases is: Log into game with the "Former Saved Game", save in a new spot, then load up from that newest save. Then I delete the other save from my folder. I have spent so many hours tweaking my Skyrim, figuring out which method is best/worst to maintain the game. This is just my personal experiences Domas. I hope we can get you fixed up ASAP.

I had this same issue using the mod(s) "Sounds of Skyrim: Civilizations and Sounds of Skyrim: Dungeons." The mod is listed...or rather was listed as not compatible with some mods, but I cannot remember which. I know I had the SAME EXACT stuttering and whatnot. This post is like a horrendous flashback for me. I did a clean wipe of Skyrim. Reinstalled mods, then had the issue progress. Reason: When I wiped back then I didn't remove all the folders left from my previous installation. It also didn't clear up my old saved games. I had to, literally, start from fresh. I use AMD/ATI as well. It wasn't something specific to Catalyst Drivers. It was just scripts left over from the mod. *NOTE: This was just my own cause and scenario. This is just something for you to look at not a diagnosis of your particular problem. Just some information for you to go on.*

When you did your fresh install of the game Domas, or should I say BEFORE you did, did you go in and manually delete the games folder and the steam folder inside C:/Progarm Files (86)/Steam/Steam Apps/Common/Skyrim? If you didn't prior to your fresh install then you may still have issues. Just asking. *Nice set-up you have and I agree I don't think it's your PC. You have left over files on your system that didn't get deleted I believe.*

On a final note: STEAM is good at what it does, but as far as auto-downloading mods, updating them properly, etc., it's not the best. Sometimes, it's not always essential when a new version of a mod comes out to immediately update to that new version; STEAM does that and as a result can cause tremendous instability issues. Moreover, when STEAM deletes a mod, it doesn't always get rid of all the scripts, .ini tweaks, etc associated with said mod. What your left with is a hodge-podge folder full of bits and pieces of mods and it can cause great instability issues. Whenever you experience crashes of an unexplained nature, or the game becomes terribly unstable to the point it's unplayable and your pulling your hair out, then it's time for the easy fix and uninstall: 1) Start your game and at the launcher, go into the Data Files on the launcher and unsubscribe to and delete all STEAM mods from your game or else they will just reload when you start the game again. 2) Uninstall Skyrim from your system. You will then have to manually delete your Game Folder located in My Documents/My Games/Skyrim 3) You MAY then have to go into you main program folder and manually delete the game folder located in C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steam Apps/Common/Skyrim. 4) Restart your PC. 5) Install Skyrim. After it finishes and it updates through Steam with latest patches, again restart PC. 6) Load up your Skyrim game and play it for a couple of minutes. Then exit the game. This allows the game to create the proper folders needed for mods. 7) Load up your NMM and start small. Go for a mod like "Enhanced Blood Textures." Install it and then run the game, testing stability. Then from there, follow each Mod Authors instructions on your chosen mods. I'm of a like mind with "Gopher", one of the best modders (IMO) out there. I follow all his videos and I suggest you all do the same as the man is very detailed on how to install mods and how to make your gaming experience that much better in Skyrim. Okay. Then last thing I can say. Based on my OWN EXPERIENCE and nothing else. I did a full uninstall of the game, deleting all folders, reinstalled fresh and started with NO Steam mods. First, delete and unsubscribe to the Steam mods so they don't load up when you reinstall the game. Then, do the Nexus mods you want 1st one at a time. I did this when I had messed up my game BAD with scripts, bad .ini files, etc. Maybe try that.

I'm no expert...I'm the 1st to admit it. But my troubles went away...well 95% of them did when I installed BOSS and let Boss organize my mod load order for me. I know it's frustrating Ramak...I'm 41 and have lost a LOT of patience when things don't work as I wish them too. I'm telling you though...I have right at 100 mods installed and the last CTD I had was more than 2 weeks ago and that was user ignorance...not the fault of MOD makers..though I admit I'm quick to want to say "It's the MOD" when in reality...it's just a simple load order a lot of times. Give it a try if you haven't. See if it helps.

Hey all.. I've looked through the message boards and can't find any answers for this issue and probable cause(s). I am having trouble with "JUST" the dragonhide boots not showing on my character(s). I am looking for some of you "PC Mod" enthusiasts to give me a hand if your willing. All opinions are welcome and valued. When fighting Vampires, I always have 2-5 Cure Disease potions on me. I use them on the 3rd day BEFORE the disease progresses to the turning-point. Using some gear that makes your resistance higher to poisons...like "The Shrouded Chest" I believe also helps out. Just as a general rule of thumb always go prepared with the potions and it should never be an issue.

I like the idea of you being able to "Smell" or "Sense" other Werewolf types. This would be in keeping with the lore of Lycanthropy as well. And Vampires, to rip a page from the "Underworld" playbook, are mortal enemies of Werewolves and as such the 2 attack each other mercilessly on sight. Perhaps make it so that if a Vampire is within say 500ft of you, the urge to transform to combat him/her makes your bloodlust surge and you lose control of your ability to hold off your transformation. Lot's of idea's that anybody can go on here. Yes make Werewolves a bit more muscular.
