Try opening the Install Log from that directory and deleting the entries for the mod you were trying to install. Then go up a directory and into the Mods folder and delete the FOMM package of the file you were installing. Make backups of both files in case it doesn't work or makes it worse.

Does Project Nevada delay the messages for DLC? Try heading to one of the DLC areas (Abandoned Brotherhood of Steel Bunker, Mojave Drive-In, Northern Passage, Canyon Wreckage) and see if anything happens.

No UI When Loading Main Menu
ma1025 replied to redsoxfan117's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
If FalloutNV.esm wasn't at the top, the game probably shouldn't have loaded at all since every other plugin is going to call it as a master file. But I suppose so. -

Random Warping Out of Dead Money
ma1025 replied to ma1025's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
http://i.imgur.com/3GiDRhK.png These don't seem to be the culprit. When it teleports me, I keep ending up beside the garage behind the Vikki and Vance where Deputy Beagle likes to hang out.- 2 replies

http://youtu.be/67x43MeQnc4 I can safely say this has never happened to me before. No matter what I'm doing I keep warping to Primm for no reason when I'm in the middle of Dead Money. It doesn't matter if I'm moving, standing still, pressing a button, in combat, or out of it. It's occurring after a set amount of time. It's not caused by me entering a certain area or pressing certain keys. In the linked video, I'm just sitting there. Even when reloading a save or reloading the entire game, it keeps happening. Load Order http://freetexthost.com/hxg4f5d5a0 [EDIT] Once I arrive at Primm, I'm able to use "movetoqt" to get back to where I'm supposed to be in Dead Money, but it's still just so odd.

Question about timescale
ma1025 replied to FONVfreak's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/39165 I use this myself and I'm fairly certain it adjusts with timescale (or so says the author). I'm using a timescale of 10. -
I think it's FOOK that adds one to the Ant Mound near Camp McCarran.

Savegame size and mods.
ma1025 replied to drithius's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
I had to remove AWOP halfway through the game this time simply because of the horrible instability I had in the interiors (like The Underground). I haven't had any problems with it thus far. 90% of AWOP is just its own self-contained weapons, armor, locations, and NPCs and it doesn't seem to interact much with the actual vanilla assets. Just make sure you remove all AWOP added equipment from your storage and inventory before you do, I guess. Drop everything and use "disable" on it. For safe measure, go inside an interior location and wait four days to get the world to refresh after removing it. -
Post your load order. You might have to use Fallout 3 Stutter Remover. I couldn't play Fallout 3 on my old computer without it or it would just crash every five minutes.

Low res texture on ground
ma1025 replied to magicbat's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
I get this as well from time to time and I used to get it even when playing the vanilla game. What it seems to be is, the game starts loading your cell and for whatever reason just stops loading the ground textures, using the low res placeholder instead. I couldn't tell you how to fix it, though. Perhaps reducing memory hogging aspects of the game like "grids to load" (requires a new game or this mod) and so on? -
Game hanging when closing for exit
ma1025 replied to Redbeard007's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
1. Download New Vegas Stutter Remover. Install NVSE into your main install folder (with your FalloutNV.exe) if you don't already have it. 2. Run New Vegas with NVSE enabled using the nvse_loader.exe directly or through your mod manager. 3. Close the game, and look at the new .ini file in your Data\NVSE\Plugins folder 4. Open it with a text editor and Ctrl+F for FastExit. 5. Change the 0 to a 1, save, close. -

Counsol Command Question
ma1025 replied to SirFrank114's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Only GRA mods can go on GRA weapons. Same for vanilla weapons. -
About your weapons tab: If you removed or changed a mod that added weapons/mods without getting rid of those items in your inventory first, then that will make it crash when you try to look at that particular inventory. If that's the case, you might still be able to get rid of them through the console with "player.showinventory" and finding the Form ID of those items, and using "player.removeitem ____________ X (however many you have in your inventory)" You might need to drop other stuff in your inventory to get the weapons to appear in your console list.

I think you need to choose "Can Be All Races" somewhere in GECK.
