Go back to the main page of Destruction and go towards the bottom of the page. There are instructions on installing and setting a load order. I would also suggest you read the comments section before you spend a lot of time trying to get your game to work. Also, you have Destruction-CP-Fellout.esp and you do not have Fellout installed. Fellout has an .esm and the lack of it will cause your game to crash without loading. Since you are new to modding, I would suggest you deactivate all your mods and than activate them one at a time. When the game crashes, the last mod you activated is the cause. Also, FOOK2 is in beta release for testing and is very unstable. You should read the comments on the FOOK2 page. A lot of people are having problems with it. I would like to recommend using Fallout Wanderers Edition instead of FOOK2, get Fallout Remastered and Fellout.

First off, you have both of the VATS esp's loading. You should only be using one. You also have both restore tracers. Pick one. If you think it's enhanced children or rideable motorcycles, uncheck both of them and see if you can start a game. Or uncheck all your mods and see if you can start a game. If you can, than check each mod and see if the game will run. When you get to the point where the game will not load, the last mod you checked will be the problem. You could have a load order problem. You should download and install B.O.S.S. and use it to set your load order. Are you sure your equipment is up to the task of running the game? It would help if you posted your equipment specs.

For texture packs you can go here: www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/cat.php?id=66. There are currently 1495 files in that catagory. Also, did you change the view distance in the graphic settings in FOMM. In the game as in real life, you have a limited depth of field. As you get closer to an object, you will be able to see more details.

On the Fallout Mod Talk main page there are 5 threads dedicated to answering your questions.

You might have better luck than I did using FOMM to change your load order. However, whenever I tried it, it didn't make any changes to the load order, unless I made the changes by dragging and dropping the mods. I downloaded B.O.S.S. to handle my load order since it would usually avoid any conflicts between the mods. And looking at the load order you posted, the esm's and esp's need to be placed in the proper order.

Random CTD's all the time.
M48A5 replied to Ixflashpointxi's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
I don't think your problem is with the quick save or auto save features. I use quick save whenever I exit the game. I have never used a quick load. I do load the game through FOMM with FOSE. At one time I did have a problem until I moved the game files out of the program files. My current path is C:\Bethesda Softworks/Fallout3/Fallout3.exe. This has stopped a lot of my ctd's and freezing. -
First off, download B.O.S.S. and have it correct your load order. Than, whenever you add a new mod to your load list, run B.O.S.S. again to keep your load order correct. There are a lot of mods that won't work with FOOK, you just have to read the discription page for each mod to check for compatibility with FOOK. I tried to use FOOK at one time but had so many ctd's that I uninstalled it and switched to Fallout Wanderers Edition. You should also download and use FOSE, FOMM and ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated. If you would like a second opinion on FOOK, go to www.fookunity.com. In the FOOK2 bug report there are 903 threads and 5,642 posts. To give you some help before you get B.O.S.S., all ESM's must be first in your load order with the Fallout3.esm at the top followed by the dlc esm.

What are your computer specs? -
As stated elsewhere in these and other forums, Fallout 3 runs much better if it is loaded on your hard drive in a location outside of the program files. This is especially true if your OS is Vista or Windows 7. Loading outside the program files gets the game out of the UAC. For loading mods, download and install FOMM, FOSE and B.O.S.S. FOSE is Fallout Script Extender. A lot of mods require this to run properly. FOMM is Fallout Mod Manager. This makes loading and activating mods very simple. B.O.S.S. is Better Obilivion Sorting Software. This make setting up your load order very easy. Make sure you read the read me that comes with each mod. This will make installation and activation very simple.

What type of equipment are you at using in your attempt to run the game? -
DarnUI- Can't get past this screen
M48A5 replied to Zephyr102's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
There is a rather extensive read me that comes with the file. I would suggest that you uninstall the mod and follow the installation instructions in the read me. It appears you missed something during the install process. Also, if your game is doing a CTD with archiveinvalidation invalidated active, there is something else wrong. -
FalloutLauncher infinite start loop? (Not loading)
M48A5 replied to 7FFF00's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
It is not the fault of Fallout3, but your computer. I had the same problem with an update to my graphics drivers and had to do a restore point before the driver update. As far as smoothness goes, that is the fault of a weak graphics chip. -
Yes, there are two. One to go to level 50 and another that will stop at level 100.
-
Are you using the right version of the GECK? I have seen posts where the problem was that the person had downloaded the New Vegas version of the GECK and was trying to mod FO3 by mistake. Check the splash screen when the GECK starts and it will show which version you are using.
-
Fellout is not showing in FOMM because it was not installed properly. You should check the read me that came with the file and than install the mod.
-
A couple of things you should have to make loading mods easier are FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager), FOSE (Fallout Script Extender), B.O.S.S. (Better Oblivion Sorting Software) and FO3 Edit. For appearance mods, I tried FOOK and had to give up on it and switched to FWE and I am using Fallout Remastered and Clean Deluxe. For a companion, try Brisa Almodovar, a fully voiced partner for your travels in the wasteland. And do like Jeoshua suggested and check out the top 100 and also the files of the month. You can also check by catagory and choose what you want.

Fallout Remastered.esp needs to go to the bottom of your load order, followed by the compatability esp's. Also, I did not see Fellout but you have Remastered-Fellout esp enabled. Disable it or install fellout. You also need to activate the other remastered compatability esp's. I suggest that you download and install B.O.S.S. to handle your load order.

Does the clock speed on your CPU meet the minimum required to play Fallout3? Also, you can only use two cores on the CPU. Fallout does not like more than two. As far as mods, Fellout, FWE, and Fallout Remastered are all good. I would suggest that you go to the Catagories and get the mods you want. Do not try to run FWE and FOOK. They do not run together.

Google is your friend. If you can't find it there, you can't find it anywhere.

need help with load order
M48A5 replied to JezebelNightingale's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
What are your system specs? It could be possible that your system can't run the game properly. Also, disable all your mods and try to start the game. If it runs, exit out and than enable your mods one at a time and see if the game runs. At some point you will come to a mod that crashes the game. This is time intensive, but you have nothing to lose since you can't run the game anyway. -
In addition to reading the read me for the mods you want to install, read the system requirements to properly run Fallout 3. Your CPU does not meet the mininum requirements. As stated by Bethesda, you need a CPU of 2.4 GHz and you have a 2.1 Ghz. This is not sufficent to run the game properly. Also your GPU is questionable.

need help with load order
M48A5 replied to JezebelNightingale's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
The main problem, as recounted numerous time in these and other forums, is that FOOK 2 is a very unstable mod. It does not play well with others and usually not at all with FWE. Choose one or the other (I tried FOOK and than went with FWE) than do your merged patch. You will also have to delete any other mods that would rely on the overhaul you delete. -
A part of FWE is a repair change that allows you to craft repair parts from scrape metal to repair your weapons and the ability to make power armor repair parts from scrap metal, abrasco cleaner and conductors. Also you can repair weapons with the cleaner and power armor with either conductors or fission batteries. You can repair power armor helmets with sensor modules. I might have the power armor repair parts mixed up, I going by faulty memory.

In the section of Fallout Technical Support is advice on how to install mods for fallout 3. I would suggest that you read all of this before you start to load and activate any mods for your game.

The minimum requirements to run Fallout 3 are listed on the outside of the game box. Please read these requirements, than ask yourself "Does my system match or exceed these requirements?" If the answer is no, as in your case, there is nothing you can do to make the game run properly. The only way to have Fallout 3 run properly is to meet or exceed the system requirements.
