I hope something positive comes out of this whole situation and more people (me included) donate to their favorite mod authors from now on, we shouldn't have to pay for mods, but we should show support. Some of these modders pour their hearts into their creations and spend hours improving games for us and adding features we otherwise wouldn't have access to and I think they deserve some praise for this and a little show of support.

If you buy the disk based version of Skyrim you still need to use steam in order to play the game. The game won't play unless steam is running. To answer your question, getting the game off steam or buying the disk doesn't change how you mod the game, but personally I enjoy buying the physical copy.

It should take place in the provinces that make up the aldmeri dominion so summerset isles, valenwood, elsweyr, then it could just be called; the elder scrolls VI: aldmeri dominion.

I have this problem also. And it only seems to happen on solstheim.

Based on playing skyrim i get the feeling that the Elder Scrolls: 6 will probably be in hammerfell and deal with driving the Thalmor out of the redguard province. It would explain why Bethesda copyrighted the redguard name again and it would cause the players to gain a bigger hatred for the thalmor before finally dealing with them in the next game. it would be cool if the next game The Elder Scrolls 7: Aldmeri Dominion took place in summerset isles, valenwood, and elsweyr, Which now are part of the aldmeri dominion so it would keep the one game, one province theme started by morrowind. And the goal of this game would to finally put and end to the thalmor. it would also be far enough from now so computers and consoles will be advanced enough for them to implement the moving tree cities of valenwood, and all the different environments in this game. this isnt really based on any information, just an opinion. feel free to add yours.

I Played Oblivion a lot more than i can play skyrim, i can still play oblivion today without getting bored, but skyrim bores me after awhile now. I enjoyed Oblivion more, i found the quests more interesting and varied, the gameplay mechanics are better in skyrim but i found oblivion more fun and interesting.

Yeah I don't think ur integrated graphics can handle it. Try on lower settings and see what happens.

Oh I didn't see the resolution ur screen was at... But still, damn.

I have an overclocked hd5870 1gb with a bunch of high res texture mods and my game never crashes. It averages 38 fps and rarely stutters. I don't get how you're managing to use up 3gigs of VRAM...

Need more info about your PC before i can really suggest anything...

It's a Problem with the driver. Have you tried turning off AA? It worked for me.

the new ATI driver did this. install an older version or disable AA to fix it for now.

i wouldnt say terrible driver issues... i mean it's a pretty bad issue but it's my first driver issue with amd in 2+ years.

the new 12.2 precertification amd driver caused this problem for me too.

i think there's a mod to get that shout on skyrimnexus.
