Came here wondering about this too. I bought a Gigabyte 670 2gb half a year ago and OC-ed to 1200Mhz just to play modded Skyrim. However, after using a performance heavy (K-enb) enb and high res texture packs (optimized) the card is starting to show its limits. (avg of 30-40fps) OP: have you considered getting two 7970s? At 3Gb that seems to be the sweet spot, especially if you're going for tons of HD texture mods. -
Despite having the unofficial dragonborn patch, I'm still unable to absorb dragon souls. Upon further reading, I found out that the problem was related to the script dragonactorscript. Since then looked through my script folder and realized I don't have this script, for some reason. Which begs the question: where does this script come from? Was it included with the vanilla game or was it added with a patch/mod. I've since been able to get the script and add it to my script folder but I am still unable to absorb dragon souls. To clarify: I had no problems with absorbing dragon souls before adding the Dragonborn DLC to my game.

Possible to create a follower with a unique voice?

I am using UFO and also followed this guide: http://www.creationkit.com/Creating_a_Companion and it works for a few voice types. However, when I try other voice types the option to ask the npc to follow me is missing. I tried adding the voice types to the voicesfollowerneutral formlist but that hasn't solved the problem. -
Is it possible to make a follower that uses Karliah or Delvin's voice for example? Considering they already have sound files for combat already, is there a way to replace the greetings/interaction dialogue with dialogue from quests?

If you have scriptdragon running, try removing it and see if that will solve your problem.

This is usually due to a mod in your load order not being able to find one of its dependents. Are you sure you didn't accidentally deactivate any mods?

Random CTDs and Freezes...tried everything.

Try starting a new game, and take that character to where you usually crash. If it still crashes, it is probably a missing/corrupt mesh or texture. Also, if you are running warzones, or monster mod, try disabling those. -

If I recall, outfits cannot be removed. You'd have to swap it out manually using the creation kit then disable/enable him.

I'm still skeptical that it's a specs issue. I think it's more likely that those who got it working made a change to their ini (or we made a change that they didn't). -

I was able to somewhat work around this by using the template of other npcs. Not the preferred solution, but it works. Anyone know what the cause of the problem is?

I use that mod as well and from what I understand it is a relatively harmless (doesn't add scripts) mod, the loader shouldn't affect your game at all if you uninstalled. Have you tried loading an earlier save game? Maybe the problem is from a mod you installed prior to the attk loader. -

I've been creating a few new npcs in the creation kit, the problem is that they all have the dark face bug. I've made many npc mods in the past and using ctrl f4 would solve all the problems, however, this doesn't seem to be working anymore. I then tried going back to one of my older mods and making a new npc on an older esp, and the problem persisted, they had the dark face. Is this something to do with 1.8? or did I accidentally tweak something that I should not have touched? Any ideas?

I've removed all mods that add extra monsters/npcs to the world and it still crashes. Any other suggestions on what it could be? Does anyone know what the cause of the crash is? cpu or gpu? or maybe the texture mods? I've since downgraded most of my texture mods to 1024 and it didn't appear to help. The strange thing is that the game is always running at 50+ fps (usually at the cap of 60) and it doesn't lag or stutter, yet it will randomly crash to desktop at certain locations. -
I've been trying to make a script that plays a disintegrating effect when the wearer dies. I've played around with the flameatronacheffectscript and managed to get the effect I want; however, the effect will play on the entire body (or just the body if you tick a certain checkbox) My question is, how do I make the effect play only on the armor? The desired effect is making the armor evaporate or melt when the npc dies. Thanks. The flameatronacheffectscript, for reference:

Sometimes, when you have multiple companions and one of them uses a damaging spell against an enemy, with the other in the crossfire, your followers turn on each other, after killing the enemy. What is the best way to prevent that?
