Patch 1.143 is for Warband, that makes Floris a mod for Warband. Warband and With Fire and Sword are both stand-alone.

Then, Ender killed the lights and dropped the most precious little gold ring ever into the well which meant Alistair had cursed the little thing like a trouper. You seem to have multiple mods/mod options activated at the same time. You should either choose to activate one or the other/s but not all of them together or Oblivion will crash to the desktop as what you have experienced. Some mod options may have other mods as requirements so you'll have to read up on their documentation because mods with missing masters will also crash your game. I highlighted some of the mods I found suspect, though I may have missed others.

Get Weather All Natural as your weather mod. The only useful part of Natural Environments for me is the Natural Habitat option. You might want to get that, just don't activate the other ESPs included.

I'm not quite sure but wouldn't that seriously mess up the main quest? Or just may be really out of place with the lore if you set it on the main world space. Though I quite like the Akaviri theme and would welcome more mods regarding it. How about a distant island setting in its own world space where the two Akaviri factions are locked in a constant struggle for power over the island/province?

Install this to fix your mod - Unofficial Oblivion Patch

At the end of the Shivering Isles main quest, your character supposedly becomes the new Sheogorath, an immortal daedric prince. You could use that or something like it. Maiq the liar is rumored to be a daedric prince in disguise as well. That is why he appears unchanged through the games, though they span through hundreds of years.

Yup, I use COBL and the alchemy sorters can filter ny ingredient proprties. :)

A slower HDD may be a performance bottleneck for Oblivion. A good rule of thumb would be to install Oblivion on a second physical drive rather than your boot HDD. This frees your installation from the clutches of the UAC (on Win Vista / Win 7) and read/write lags caused by system files on your boot drive. You will want to install it on the fastest drive in your rig since it reads a lot of data from time to time while in-game. I'm not sure how noticeable the lag would be from using your green drive rather than the old one.

I'm quite into the Sarranid Sultanate. I like the Arabic theme and calvary warfare. Then Nords come in a close second.
