  1. Hey guys, Dave here from RipTen. I've finally finished my hands on preview of Skyrim after playing the game at Quake Con a few weeks ago. Sorry for the delay, but I'm posting it here first. ^__^

You may want to pull up a chair and get a glass of wine - this puppy is a long read. 3333 words to be exact.

Let me know if you have any questions or comments, and please be sure to share my preview with the rest of the internet if you feel the need.

    Get Some!!

I loved your review of this, so in-depth and you're a elder scrolls player from the begining so it had heart.

  2. xD lols .. I thought I would have to start flaming someone for a second ... oh geez .. I haven't seen anything that would possibly make me not want it .. The only things that are bugging me are the things I can't see until the game is out.

    Lol Same here.

  3. I'd have to go with Hircine too. The idea of capturing people every era and making them hunt eachother for his amusement is pretty awesome. I also like the whole concept of the Hunt. It's pretty legit in my opinion. The deer head of his also f***in rocks! :D

Same brother, I'd love to be his right-hand man and watch the hunt. That'd be awsome!

  4. Very much so, mate (: In Morrowind I didn't mind but in Oblivion I really would have wanted too. I read though that using the shield and bashing foes off of like a mountain is pretty fun, so I'll have a light fur shield for that. I could spend hours doing that XD

I was planning on playing a sword-and-shield based warrior at some point, and the bashing things off mountains just makes that sound even more fun! It makes me happy that we have a world that offers more than one opportunity (Dive Rock) for those kinds of shenanigans. I normally would have carried a shield so that I could enchant it, but this just adds extra incentive.

Exactly mate. Those things are what keep me coming back. Man i'm so excited about this game!

  5. I thought fights wolves in Oblivion was tedious. From what I've seen from Skyrim, I will enjoy coming across a pack of wolves and then slice my dual wielding swords into them.
  6. This is starting to become my portfolio .. Someone else show something soon :u

Heres something I made today for a little fun :3

Wow, looks great! And your first post looked awsome.

  7. I know what you mean.

Quicksaving just before trying to pickpocket someone, if you fail reload, repeat.

And yes, Quicksaving is in, I heard that someone was laughing at Adam Sessler (G4TV) because he was quicksaving every few minutes.

    Lol Oh Adam

  8. I don't know if anyone else was curious about it or if it's already been posted, but the Skyrim food truck is packing some protein rich, uh, dragon meat.http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/whistling.gif

    GameInformer at the food truck.

    My dream meal-

It's funny how they have to put what the food really is under the other food. Like turkey leg is under Dragon leg. Spoils the fun.

  9. I found this on RPGCodex, and while they're generally pretty elitist over there, they do post links to articles I wouldn't find otherwise.

It's an interesting read. It has a few new (well, to me) details here and there, and most of the screenshots are same stuff, different day, but it's still interesting.

I follow the Elder Scrolls on Facebook and any new info they put there, including reviews like this. It is a great article though.
