Yeah it's tough loosing those you care about. Hang in there and remember the good times you had together. The pain will recede with time. Talk to your current friends and meet a therapist if you are still depressed. I've had to do that several times in my life. There are lots of friends out there if you look for them.

how many people are still playing morrowind?
Dilvish replied to JazzBlack's topic in Morrowind's Discussion
I am going to play Morrowind again for awhile I think. I will be a Bosmer soldier named Muhris who will slice his way across Vardenfell with a sword. Got to return to the roots again. -
Morrowind for me.

Does a fredyzg normally metamorphosize into a Branimirzg when it has enough posts?

I've decided to keep the same PSU for now. I'll change it next time I buy a GPU. It's 2 years old but good quality and strong for a 560 W. SILVERSTONE ST56ZF 560W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817163111

This computer started out with a 430 W PSU. I put in the 560 W when I went to 2 x 7800 GXT in SLI. You're right though. If I don't get a bigger PSU now, I will end up installing another one eventually.
-
When I use those online PSU calculators, It seems my 560 W psu will be okay. What calculator do you think is most accurate?

Well it's good to have something better than the integrated graphics if you want to play Oblivion. I would start with medium settings and raise them up slowly if the performance is okay. You can probably upgrade the video card in the future if you ever want to. Welcome to the forums!
-
Good CPU and RAM with low-average graphics card. It will play Oblivion at medium settings. That 9400 is a big bottleneck. Get a better video card if this is a new system that you haven't actually bought yet.

Back then, everyone really ran and walked very strangely. You probably just don't remember.

Dragon Age: Origins comes out for the PC in a few months. It looks like it might be good.

That's like being asked what the worst ever book was and answering the Gutenberg Bible.

I played Two Worlds for a few months after it's release. I haven't gone back to it and played the expansion yet but I may. I think the single-player PC version is a good game. There were a few mods out for TW then. If you check the ZuxxeZ TW forum and the Official TW forums you'll probably get some good info on the current state of Two Worlds mods. I played Silvermane's Elite Female Mod which added a playable female face to the single-player game and made some other tweaks. Here are some screens of my mage using the mod: one two three

In my first game, Martin, Jauffre, and my Redguard character all galloped to Cloud Ruler together. That was in vanilla Oblivion.

TES V should be the New Empire invading Akavir. Some parts of Akavir have already been occupied by the Legion. All of the old familiar races and all the new Akaviri races are involved. The gods of Tamriel and the gods of Akavir are also at war. The player can choose to play a character from any of the races. Choose Imperial alignment and help conquer Akavir. Command the Blades, the Priests of The Nine, Militant, or the Guild Mercenaries. Choose Akaviri alignment and help drive the Legion back into the sea. Head several of the new continent's factions. Of course, you could also choose to betray your side or plot against everyone. If even the winners are almost destroyed, you can start your own kingdom!

I'm still using an older version of OBSE so I can't help. I know that the official forums have a thread running on version 11 though in their Oblivion mod forums.

Official Announcement: Oblivion for the PS3 and PSP
Dilvish replied to Povuholo's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
Glad you modified that post some. I think everyone should be welcome here, even if they are a console gamer. -
I was in Olav's Tap & Tack in Bruma. Ongar the World Weary came in and began stealing his dinner. He would walk into the back by the rooms and come out sneaking. He snuck through the crowd and picked pocketed or stole some food. Then he then would sit down at a table and eat it. Most of the crowd had seen him stealing and a general shout would go up. A few seconds later, a city guard would rush in, run toward Ongar, and then turn and walk out. I guess Ongar was paying his fine. This happened about four or five times as my character sat there. Ongar got caught and payed his fine each time. That was one expensive dinner for him! Each time Ongar snuck past my character, he would stop for a second and say hi. Ongar likes me.

I thought it would be interesting to see how much you all have been playing Oblivion. I hope I got the categories right. I'm playing my second character now. My total time (all characters) just passed 240 hrs. What about you?

There is a new NPC that hangs out at the northern end of Balmora. He's at the start of the road north to Caldera. He can transport you.

Do funny screenshots count? Here's one I call "The Master of Telekinesis." http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y142/Owen...n/TheMaster.jpg Okay. It is a fake. My character found this magic floating rock in the wilderness. I used the opportunity to take this shot.

I just met this nasty rat with dull RAI. He kept making exactly the same attack over and over. I just held the block and the rat would leap up and ricochet off my shield. He'd get knocked back down the hill and come back for more. We'd still be there doing that weird dance If I hadn't gotten bored. Good for raising the block skill I guess. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y142/Owen...livion/Rat0.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y142/Owen...livion/Rat1.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y142/Owen...livion/Rat2.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y142/Owen...livion/Rat3.jpg
