Hi FurkianKos, Thanks for taking the time to go through our troubleshooting guide. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues. Is the speed still slow for you? It may have been related to the website being busy. Based on your report, you are getting a poor speed from every server, regardless of location. Unfortunately this indicates the problem is beyond out control. It could be caused by any number of different factors such as ISP limits or bad routing. I'm not sure if it's something either you or I can fix directly. My suggestion would be to try a VPN (if you have access to one) and see if the speeds improve there.

We're currently working on a whole new, purpose-built checkout system for the website. Until that releases I'm afraid we won't able to offer non-PayPal payment options anymore. We understand that's not ideal for some of you who want to support us and can't - either due to PayPal not being available in your country or other reasons - so we'll do our best to get the new system out as soon as we can. In the meantime most card payments can be paid securely through PayPal.

Hmm, the Credit/Debit card option does appear to have disappeared. I've flagged it with the developers to investigate. Thanks for the report.

If you have access to a VPN, can you try downloading through that? It looks like all the servers are not particularly fast for you. Unfortunately that means it's probably something beyond our control to fix. Contacting your ISP to troubleshoot may help in this case, but a VPN may be a workaround.

When the website is busy the quick search results (the drop down on the same page) may become a bit intermittent. Pressing enter will still allow you to full search, or as others have said, wait a few minutes and retry.

Thanks for the report, we'll look into this during the week. We are currently testing a new back end to the mods search so it's possibly related to that.

It's something we can talk about when our new designer starts. Although there are other parts of the site that really need a facelift first :)

In late 2019 we increased the number of favourites from 8 to 12. I'll pass your feedback on to our design team, but I'm not sure there's a good want to cram even more games into the header!

Sometimes, when you submit a big request to the forum which contains a lot of text and/or code (in this case BBCode) you'll be greeted with a CloudFlare hCaptcha to ensure you're not a spammer or trying to submit malicious code. As Arthmoor points out, your security settings may be too high for this page to function normally, which would be causing the delay.

No, I'm not sure how long the chunks "hang around" for, but the partial file will remain for a while. You'll need to rename your new upload in this case. I'm going to move this thread to a more appropriate forum as it's not Vortex related.

We are reviewing our membership system sometime this year. I'm not sure if Ideal will be considered (I've never heard of it) but we will be looking at improving the options. This is something we have discussed but it's more technically challenging than it sounds. It's on the radar for when we revise our search/blocking tools.
