How long does a dead body disappeared?
dennis20014 replied to firstlegacy's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Yeah I think there use to be a mod around that did that but I can't remember what it is even called. Maybe it was decomposition like you said lol. I usually type 'markfordelete' instead of disable as it will actually delete them completely out of the game upon the next load. -
Just make sure that if you ever do decide to deactivate them to make sure no mods you have are dependent on any of them.
-
Your mod idea sounds pretty cool, but I think it would work better in some form of a shout. Doesn't necessarily have to be loud, but maybe give an effect of the npcs run away like you said for 20-30 seconds. There most likely is a mod that does this, but I'm not sure where it is. It is probably obscure and unknown.

how about YOU playing skyrim? (Advanced skyrim-theory)
dennis20014 replied to metaton's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Good tips and procedure there Amyr. I'd agree with a lot of those things. I find that defraging for me helps out a lot too (as I don't have a SSD) as well as just keeping my system in top top shape. Restarting now and then helps, and I always use 'WaitBusyrender' for my enbs. If I don't, I get a lot of stutter in the world, but I still get 30fps + most the time outdoors, and always 60 indoors. I still get some random CTD that I really can't pinpoint the cause but the only time I drastically increase my chances are in the following scenario: Having 3+ followers w/ AFT, and riding on Convienant horses. This really bogs me down after awhile and crossing different borders and having multiple cells loaded at once just crashes me instantly. I pretty much don't ride horses with followers anymore anyway cause with all my mods I end up having to dismount anyway. -
how about YOU playing skyrim? (Advanced skyrim-theory)

Are you have 250+mods? <<<---- Yes I have around 254 or 255 at the moment. Lots of times I'll end up uninstalling some armor or weapon mods that I never end up getting around to using. Or a follower I never use, as I tend to download a ton of those and end up using the same ones I have for ages xD Are you have the same problems? <<<---- I don't know how long you have played (as in when you got the game) but I have been playing since release and modding since like May 2012 or so. I can honestly say that it took over two years to get a stable skyrim going with the communitys help and just my own trial and error. That's with tons of mods and even then you aren't guaranteed stable. I use Frostfall, wet and cold (with ashes and holidays) and AFT. Plus Interesting NPCS and a good deal number of the other ones you list. It's really just about tweaking those (I don't leave all the features on for wet and cold, such as drips etc for npcs..I mean when am I really going to care if they have drips?). The features are great on a ton of mods but half the time you never get around to noticing them anyway cause of all the other mods you have. VRAM burst could be an issue for you, and using a texture optimizer program is really nice. I have always used one, and I can't see loss of quality, unless I'm taking screenshots just to prove that there is a subtle difference. EWI's INIs are great for stable gameplay, I can't recommend them high enough. Just go through and try to take out mods you find yourself not really using ever. 'Order my items' is a mod I have installed currently, and while it's features are great, I NEVER USE IT. I don't know why I have had it this whole time as I love smithing and prefer to do that. So just go through and ask yourself those questions and it can all help in the end to getting a more stable load. Of course proper load structure (LOOT) and wrye bashed patches are recommended or necessary. -

Skyrim suddenly starts to CTD on startup
dennis20014 replied to EPPALJECK's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I would recommend getting all the unofficial patches that apply for you, simply because they are amazing and fix a plethora of bugs in the game. That aside, I would try disabling all but the official plugins (Skyrim, update etc.) and then from there just re-enabling plugin after plugin to see if it starts up. If it does, keep going until one makes it crash again. Rinse and repeat. -
By the looks of it, they are using an old version of enb predating enbhost and local etc. so that explains the lack of that. But it definitely sounds like an afterburner issue. For the longest time, I had to use the injector enb, until very recently I figured out the proper setup for using the wrapper (d3d9.dll) version in conjuction with it. If that's the case, just let us know and I can post a little tutorial, or you could google it. It's pretty easy
-
You said it appears if you disable all mods, but did you try re-enabling them one by one to pinpoint it down? I'm going to assume you did but if not that may help. Your load order structure looks great, even if I don't know some of the mods in particular. Verifying files and then trying one by one to re-enable plugins is the only thing I can think of, if it just randomly started happening. I've had the same problem before, but I honestly can't say how I fixed it. Sometimes the menu just takes a long time to appear, and I end up just ending the process via task manager and starting it u again and it works fine. May be worth to defrag your HD as it may just be loading extremely slow.

I would recommend getting LOOT to sort your list. The official patches are suppose to come directly after the DLC they are for, and it's very crucial to have a good load order in general, but especially with those. The only save cleaner I've found useful really is the 'PDT Wrapper' one, but I'm not sure if you are using the same thing. It recently had a big update that has some great tutorials on diagnosing a bunch of different crashes, but sometimes using the save cleaners or script cleaners only makes things worse, regardless of their advertising of 'THIS WILL FIX YOUR GAME!' Try using LOOT, perhaps even go and make a bashed patch with Wrye Bash, start a new game and try to do the quest line again. I know it's not what you want to hear, but just cheat while doing it. I'm talking god mode, fast walk (or better yet use COC codes to just teleport directly to the npcs to start) and test it that way. I think proper load order will really help you. Also, any papyrus INI settings may be messing with this, or not having the latest SKSE with memory allocation features. I see you are premium member so I'm going to make the assumption you have SSME or that skse, and probably use enbboost. It could just be wherever you are having to go for that quest that is triggering crashes based on your system setup.

Yeah I was hoping that verifying would help with your textures but if you copied and pasted them manually and not via NMM or MO then there may be other issues. Try disabling all of your mod plugins except for the official Skyrim ones: Skyrim Update [Any DLCS you own here] Then try to start the game up and see if it still crashes for you. Then you can slowly activate them (one by one is preferable but I usually do three or so at a time) and then finally pinpoint which mod is causing the crash. A load order would be preferable if you know how to find it and post it. I honestly can't remember but a quick google should help
-
I don't think you would need to run LOOT or FNIS again, but it wouldn't hurt to do it I suppose :) I also use the same booster and it helps speed up the computer but I don't think it is relative to VRAM in any way. I could be wrong though. I didn't think of it before, but try lowering your texture settings in the skyrim launcher and see if you still have the problem. I know black textures for me before is from running out VRAM to load all of them.

Sooo everyone should really check this out, I should of made a better description. You can set up a party filled with followers/NPCS. Then you can have them go on journeys in the world on their own. So you can essentially create armies for your bidding >:D

ILS everytimes when death and reload save
dennis20014 replied to Wardensc2's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Thank you, I will try. I already use ugrid to load Yes, I use pirate version. Sorry  Dude...lol that explains any crashes you will have. The legit version is buggy and there is no support here for pirated versions, you should of just straight up lied but your log screwed you over. WALK THE PLANK!! haha -
Did you try verifying your files on Steam? This will re-download any corrupted or missing files and your textures should come back. If it's crashing on start up it could also mean you are missing a master file. Do you use mods? Have you uninstalled any during a playthrough? While this is usually okay for textures, mods you uninstalled may have other mods that are dependent on having the one you uninstalled, and therefore will crash on start up since you don't have it anymore.

If you still have the old computer and are able too, I'd recommend manually transferring your entire Skyrim folder over to the new computer, and overwriting any files it asks. This way the game has the same exact structure setup. I don't know how many mods you use, but if it is a lot then this may help. And by a lot I mean 10+. I will vouch and say it has for me before but it may not for everyone. Even so, on a new computer and setup I would say that you are probably better off starting over, as sad as it is to say. There are just too many variables that could make it go wrong. As for that error...I have no idea. It sounds like your save file was on an outdated version of Skyrim? Not going to assume, but if that's then obviously the Skyrim copy wasn't legit. But I don't assume that, I just have never had an error like that.

Nice! Glad it helped, I didn't think to check your task manager xD

Sorry for not providing any links! Here is what I originally followed to make a bashed patch. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36189/?

Hey there! I would say you should invest in smithing and light armor skills if you haven't already. I use similar mods like the omegared and I believe the benefit from a bash patch, which will do exactly what you are saying. They'll be added to the leveled list and their stats will scale with your level. I know for a fact the ranger armor does as I use that very one at times :D As for the enb problem, I know exactly what you're talking about and I believe there is an 'eye menu' in the enb GUI and enbseries ini, but I've never really found a fix. It's only on particular ENBs that it happens to me and I sadly end up having to abandon them because it just looks stupid.
-
It could be that your CPU is making you crash due to your high percentage use. My thought though is still going back to memory. You're only able to use 2GB of RAM and enbboost I'm pretty sure (regardless of what I said earlier) won't help you any since you don't have more than 4GB to work with.

ILS everytimes when death and reload save
dennis20014 replied to Wardensc2's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
[WINDOW] ForceBorderless=false ForceBorderlessFullscreen=false Try setting those to true and see what happens. I've found it's worked for some (myself included) before in preventing ILS. You could also try deleting your ini files to make a new set. Make sure to back them up first just in case. Both are worth a try -
Hey guys! I just got done making this video on how to make follower parties that roam Skyrim on their own doing things.

Never mind I'm retarded haha I see you are using a bashed patch. I would still say to get LOOT and sort if you haven't, and the bashed patch is supposed to go at the very bottom no matter what, but I suppose ASIS may call for something else. LOOT has always sorted my bash patch at the bottom even when I thought it shouldn't though so I guess I could be wrong. Looking at your specs from your profile, you'll need to play on lower settings even with the amount of VRAM you have. I don't know if you are playing on high or ultra, but a combination of Medium and Low is what I'd honestly recommend. Your CPU is a decent dual core, but it's only clocked at 2.5ghz so it's not going to give you the juice you need with all the mods you have. You also only have 4GB of RAM, meaning you're probablyo n a 32bit system and Skyrim can only access 2GB of that RAM anyway. All these factors are going against you. Even with the SSME and SKSE, you're still going to have to cut back on some of those mods I'd say, ETaC a highly recommended one to get rid of for the sake of stability.
