  7. and armor for that matter. i ask because the lack of enchantable bows is disappointing. it would be nice to be able to make them, as well, i was noodleing around with an expanded rune pack or something, one that would incorporate armor and bows with runes that are suitable to those items (stat pluses, bonuses to armor class or attack or what not.)

  9. i recently reinstalled fallout 3 to catch up on the DLCs, and the old ticker started spinning with some mod ideas, however i have some questions i hope someone can answer first, is it possible to modify a weapons hitpoints for a specific amount, I.E. give weapon X 1000 extra hitpoints for the period of 12 hours? second, is there any tutorials/resources that deal with buyable stuff for player homes? (like the workbench or the nuka-cola machine) third, is there a good write up on scripting in new weapons into vanilla vendor and loot lists? i wanna tidy up my old mods a bit so they play well with others. thanks in advance
  10. yeah i had tried to create override LVLI's using the ones you had put in there but vash would not stock the items.
  11. i just checked out the work Jaysus, i gotta say im highly impressed. ims still working on geck-ifying my releases (and adding new ones) but id like to know how to add my stuff into vendor (if its possible) also, if you dont mind, id like to do a bit more decorations in my vendors cabin. (using my weapons, of course :happy: )
  12. the reason for that is, online source games have a bit of netcode that checks visual assets against ones held on their server, if its too big it will give you what is called a "consistency" error. the reason for this is cheat prevention, as a really old method of cheating was to add super long beams to the world model so you could get a better sense of where your opponents are at

  15. looking good jaysus. only question is, inorder for a vendor to sell the weapons i have made, would i need the plugin file to have masters of all my weapon plugins?
  16. ive actually been wondering what collisions are capable of. can something like this be used with armors, that way parts of cloth detect body parts? or is this just for static objects
  17. im sure you didnt. he was not very clear about that. ive said noting untill now because he has not released them, officially claiming the work to be his. however now that its getting advertised as his, i felt the need to say something. sorry if i was misleading myself, its not your fault. of course i dont have and answer to your question, but i do have a AR rifle or 2 lined up, its just i cannot see putting them in without being able to edit the animations a little to look like he is pulling the bolt handle properly, kinda why ive held of saying anything about it. we will see though
  18. holy hell how did i forget about that one....o wait its a bulpup right? damn im not gonna argue if tacticool is fallout or not, but i wont do it. im not a big fan of a nice rifle overloaded with more electronics and toys that bullets......just seems usless to me. however im more than willing to put plain stuff like AR's and G36's (got a couple lined up actually lol), its just got nothing to do with canon, just pure taste

  20. this is kinda what Better Arsenal is aiming to be. :thumbsup: for the moment, and im still looking on how to get around the limitations, stuff like bulpups and pump actions are out of the question because there are no animations to support them. belt feds and top loading mags (p90) as well as proper tube fed lever guns (id love to put some real ones in) mac10 is off limits for the moment, no way to have an accurate reload, same with the lugar i was dying to put in (cant in good conscious put it in without a proper slide animation <.<) and a big letdown, ARs because there really is no animations for racking the bolt. beth really hosed us on the animation end, and as well gave us the most generic weapon animations to work with. believe me, i /RAGE/ about this on a daily basis
